It's time to post! As of yesterday, Animal Crossing New Horizons received its first update in years. Although there have been a few bug patches, this is the first real update. A lot of articles have been covering this, but I don't think we should get excited just yet. It was announced that Animal Crossing New Horizons will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2, but this doesn't really mean very much of anything. There hasn't been any news for potential updates, or even the next game in the series. This recent update was just so the game would be able to run better on the Nintendo Switch 2. Nothing was patched or added, it's just a basic update for the new console. This is a bit disappointing, since fans have been waiting for updates for years. A few articles imply this means there will be new content added soon, but that wasn't confirmed at all. As of right now, this is the only thing that has been added to Animal Crossing New Horizons.
