Why is it a bad thing for historical and mythological characters to be gender swapped in series? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! This is somewhat common to see in the anime community. However, it isn't a good thing. Although a lot of the gender swaps are when males are changed to females, this isn't good representation either way. When making a series that is mostly accurate to history or mythology, changing the characters based on this actually spreads misinformation. Not only this, but it gets rid of opportunities to put a spotlight on lesser known figures. There are a lot of strong and powerful women in both history and mythology, so just ignoring them so you can gender swap a man instead feels wrong and cheap. It's like a slap in the face to actually powerful women who were overlooked in their time and are still being overlooked now. Choosing to swap a strong male character is lazy and borderline sexist. I wish they would stop doing this in series, and would instead choose to show off actual women that aren't talked about as often. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why did people dislike mobile games? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Gaming is a big part of the anime community. However, a lot of people who play games are against mobile games. Why is this? Well, originally mobile games weren't very serious. They were pretty much all pretty cheap, casual games with art styles that resembled cartoons more than anime. But these days, a lot of gamers play on mobile, PC, and console equally. There's a much larger selection of games, and a lot of them are well made with good art and good stories. The gameplay mechanics have been upgraded greatly, and mobile devices can play much more complex games now. Mobile games were criticized for a long time, but now a lot of mobile games are just as good as other games; especially the anime-based ones. There are even phones and tablets that are made for gaming now. I personally love to see this happening because a lot of mobile games are really good, and they're usually free to play, which makes them more accessible to fans. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Since AI chat bots are becoming more popular within the anime community, I would like to give my thoughts on three of some of the more popular ones. This is just my opinion on them, so don't take it to heart if I don't share the same opinions as you. To make it easier, I'll be talking about them in list form. So, let's get on with it. Enjoy!

1.) Character AI - This one is the most popular, and I like it too. It has the biggest selection, you can set the filter, and it has a relatively good memory. You can also make personas and even set a default persona so the bots know who they're talking with. It's good for kids, teens, and adults, since it can be age restricted now. Plus they often add new features to make things more entertaining.

2.) Chai AI - I don't recommend this one at all. You can't set personas, it has annoying ads, the age restriction is a flimsy on/off button, and it has a terrible memory. Sometimes it doesn't even remember details about the characters, let alone you.

3.) Janitor AI - This one is pretty good. The age restriction isn't that great, but really it isn't that inappropriate anyways. The bots don't start anything unless you do, it has a really good memory, you can add personas, it automatically sets a default persona, and it's great with one character or even multiple. However, it talks a lot. This is good for stories, but annoying with casual conversations. It also replies pretty slowly, and it often moves the story along without you because you don't have a chance to say anything to them while they're monologuing. I like this one and I do recommend it, I just wish it didn't ramble so much.

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the game Cookingdom. Cookingdom is a free to play game that is available on mobile devices. It's similar to Cooking Mama as well, and it's pretty cozy. I'd also like to mention that the ads for this app are accurate, and the ones I've gotten so far are real levels from the game. But if you're looking for something relaxing, this isn't it. Cookingdom has a short time limit for each level, and even complex levels have limited time. It doesn't tell you what to do at all, and you're expected to know what to do without any instructions. You're given the ingredients and tools and that's all. You can get hints, but they cost a lot of in-game coins. You can also watch an ad instead. However, the ads get frustrating after a while. I wanted to try this game because I like cooking games, but it turned out to be rather stressful. I do like it, because I occasionally enjoy a challenge. But this game isn't relaxing. I recommend it for people who like a challenge, and for those who would like a more challenging version of Cooking Mama. As always, here's a picture from the game. Enjoy!

It's post time! Recently there's been a Mario theory floating around that is slowly gaining attention. This theory says Princess Daisy was originally supposed to have darker skin. However, I disagree. There are only two things to support this theory. The first is that her skin was originally shown to be more tan. But this evidence is easily debunked by the fact that a lot of the characters used to be more tan. It's likely just due to the limitations of the times. The second one is that she is the ruler of Sarasaland so she has to be brown. But the people who say this ignore the fact that only one part of Sarasaland is a desert. Of course they're doing it on purpose to suit their arguments, so please ignore them. In reality, Princess Daisy has almost always been shown to have lighter fair skin that tends to look darker when compared to Princess Peach. I think it would make sense for her to occasionally have tan skin because she's sporty and athletic, but it also makes sense for her to occasionally lose that tan. I don't think it's a problem, and she was definitely never meant to be seen as brown. She's just supposed to be fair or tanned, which isn't the same thing. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something about Cubone that doesn't make sense. Cubone is a well-known Pokemon that is always shown with a skull on its head. Cubone has never been shown without this skull, which means no one knows what it looks like. However, this skull is supposed to have been its mother's skull. Despite this, quite a few of these Pokemon have been shown with their living mothers throughout the games and the anime. Not only this, but Cubone evolves into Marowak, which has a permanent skull attached to its head. This permanent skull is supposed to be the one Cubone wears after its mother dies. But I have a few problems with this. Firstly, how does this baby Pokemon get its mother's skull to begin with? And how are there more Cubone if the mothers die so easily? This should be an endangered species by now with the amount of Cubone there are. Not to mention it was implied Cubone is born with this skull even though apparently it isn't. It just doesn't make sense at all, and this detail should've never been added. It just creates a bunch of questions that have no answers. This has always bothered me, and I know it bothers a lot of other Pokemon fans as well. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something I like about Fate/Grand Order. Although I've had some trouble with this game before, I've found some things I like after playing it for a while. Firstly, I've always liked the story. However, most of the servants are also portrayed well. It includes true historical facts and adds them to the characters in a natural way. I think I wouldn't have any problems with this series if the creators hadn't gender swapped some of the characters. Most of them weren't gender swapped, and seeing the ones who were as soon as I started the game gave me a bad impression of the series. But after giving it more of a chance, I'm surprised by how well it was made. I don't think I'll ever fully get past the things that do bother me, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it anyways. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What's the problem with Nintendo? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Nintendo started out as a creative and well loved game company, and they had a lot of fans. Although they're still popular, Nintendo is slowly but surely declining. They don't care about their fans anymore, and only care about making money instead. Anything that loses them even a little money is quickly abandoned, and even popular games are shelved in favor of more profitable ones. Nintendo has left their fans unhappy many times, and they've only gotten worse with time. I'm sure this is because of the ones in charge and not the game developers, but eventually people will stop buying Nintendo products regardless. Nobody wants a game they can't even play, and Nintendo is starting to act like the fans don't have the right to own what they buy. This way of doing business is going to cost them a lot, especially since other fans will see the problems others are experiencing and avoid it at all costs. I think Nintendo should rethink the way they're doing things before it's too late. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What's wrong with Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although there isn't really a problem with Pokemon, I think it doesn't have enough creativity. There are a lot of different Pokemon, but there are some clear favorites. There are many animals that haven't been turned into Pokemon yet, but there's also a few animals that have a lot of Pokemon based on them. I think there should be a wider range of things. I like to see more variety with the Pokemon designs. New animals, new plants, new objects, even Pokemon that aren't based on anything. It's fun to see what the artists can come up with, and I'd like to see more of it. I think there needs to be more unique and creative designs for Pokemon if they're going to continue making more. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why are some servants unavailable in Fate/Grand Order? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Players of this game may have noticed that sometimes servants are mentioned that you never see in the gacha. So why is this? This is because some servants are only available as special summons, which means they aren't available any other time. This includes characters like Merlin, Oberon, and Charlemagne. Some of the fan favorite characters are just never available, and they have a small window of opportunity when they are available. This can be frustrating, especially since players are hardly ever told when they'll be available in advance. These pick up summons take over three hundred pulls, so you should probably just give up if you've just wasted all of your Saint Quartz on a different character. That being said, these types of characters are usually pretty powerful, so I would recommend giving them a chance if you have the opportunity. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something from Animal Crossing New Horizons that I don't like. Yes, I've talked about many things in this game that bothers me before. This is just a minor thing that bothers me though, and it's more like an inconvenience. But, I dislike how often villagers visit you in your home. When they visit, you have no choice but to let them in, it stops everything you're doing, and they stay as long as they want. There's no way to prevent it except for when you're in decorating mode, and when you aren't in the main room. I hate this, because it means I have a whole room that I can't spend very much time in because otherwise I'll be ambushed. It would be better if villagers could be invited over, or if you could politely turn them away without lowering your friendship with them. I like spending time with the villagers, but sometimes I'm busy. I don't like being suddenly and forcefully stopped in the middle of things. I want to be able to choose when I spend time with the villagers, and I think it would make spending time with them more enjoyable if I had a choice. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Yami Kawaii. Yami Kawaii is a somewhat unknown subculture from Japan, and the name literally translates to Dark Cute. As the name suggests, it centers around things that are scary or creepy, and cute. Things like blood, bandages, syringes, eye patches, and pills are common to see with this, as well. They're often combined with cute things like plushies, but it can also be a type of fashion. Although this isn't as popular as some of the other fashions from Japan, it can still occasionally be seen within the anime community. Yami Kawaii is actually one of my favorite things, and I recommend it for any anime fans that are interested in cute and creepy things. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Are the Aeons in Honkai: Star Rail genderless? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! This has been a common question within the Honkai: Star Rail community. Although some of the Aeons don't present as male or female, a lot of them do. Not all of them are genderless. Aeons are just referred to as They and Them. This is for a few reasons. Firstly, it's out of respect. It's also easier, since many people never get to see or meet the Aeons, so many people don't know what gender they are. Using They and Them to refer to the Aeons is also partly because the Aeons are often talked about collectively, and not individually. Because of this, it's much easier and more appropriate to just use these pronouns for all of them, instead of learning about each one individually. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Since fans of Animal Crossing are talking about things they'd like to see in the Animal Crossing series, I would like to say something as well. I think Animal Crossing should have unlimited storage options. Why does the final storage upgrade still have a limit? It's a somewhat small storage compared to everything in the game, as well. The storage in this game is awful. You can run out of space in your pockets, mailbox, house storage, rooms, and even your island. Where are you supposed to put things if you can't keep them in your storage? Why is there a storage limit that's extremely small compared to everything in the game? Why is the clothing closet combined with the house storage? These are all ridiculous things to deal with in a game that's supposed to allow freedom of fashion and creativity. This above everything is what I want to see fixed, and I'm sure many other fans agree with me. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the combat system in Honkai: Star Rail. A big part of RPG games is the combat system. It's done well in Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero. But in Honkai: Star Rail, it's a little boring. Honkai: Star Rail uses a turn-based combat system. Although this makes combat easier, it comes with downsides. Firstly, it can make boss battles extremely boring. You can't leave a battle until you win or are defeated. So after a while, it gets tedious. Along with this, it's extremely unfair when an opponent uses an instant kill move and you can't do anything but watch. It's so aggravating fighting a boss for ages and then it defeats you before you can defeat it. Of course, Honkai: Star Rail does make it easy to level characters, and it's easy to obtain strong characters. But sometimes it's not enough, and you have to level up even further and then come back later. I do like the combat system in this game, it's just a bit boring. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What's wrong with Umamusume? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Umamusume is a series that follows the life of racing horses. However, these horses are actually anime girls with horse ears and tails. This series has been avoided by many anime fans because the horse girls are named after real racing horses. Despite this, I think it's a pretty good idea, and I think it could've worked better without involving real horses. It's an interesting story and a very original series. But involving real horses is what bothers most people. I can understand this, because a lot of people don't want to think about real animals when they like a fictional character. Not only is it a bit odd to name them after real racing horses, but using the names feels out of place in the series as well. Seeing mostly normal girls with such weird names just doesn't feel right. I think this series would've done much better if the creators had just made up original names for the girls. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! One of my favorite Pokemon is Mimikyu, which is a Pokemon who successfully looks both cute and creepy at the same time. This is partially why Mimikyu became such a popular Pokemon, since many people love things like this. However, it's one of the only Pokemon who's like this, which is very disappointing. There aren't very many Pokemon who are like this, but I think there should be more of them. This combination of cuteness and creepiness works really well for ghost-type and dark-type Pokemon, and I think making more Pokemon like Mimikyu would bring more attention to these often overlooked types. Of course, I don't think there should be a lot of different Mimikyu clones. I just think there should be more cute and creepy Pokemon. This is actually a really popular thing to see in the anime community, and I think it works well for Pokemon. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something that bothers me in Hoyoverse games. Games like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero are all made by the same company. So, there are similarities between them. However, this isn't always a good thing. For example, these games like to simplify the English translations. A lot of in-universe things get grouped together. In the English version of Zenless Zone Zero, a lot of different types of races are all considered Thirens because of their animal traits. There are other things throughout the games that have been simplified or mistranslated, and it's a bit disappointing. It's also confusing for other fans who play in different languages. This isn't the only thing that bothers me though. I also really dislike characters who use their name as a pronoun instead of proper pronouns. So far I've only seen this with Paimon from Genshin Impact and Pom-Pom from Honkai: Star Rail. But, I still find it very annoying. I know it's supposed to make the character seem cuter, but it doesn't. A lot of fans are bothered by these things, even though they may seem like small issues. Small issues become big issues when you play the games often, because it will eventually affect your enjoyment of the games. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! Although Animal Crossing New Horizons has a lot of fans, many fans agree that one part of the game makes it very tedious to play. This is referring to the fact that you can't buy or craft multiple things at once. A lot of games have an option that makes it so you can craft or buy multiple things at once, as long as you have the materials. This saves a lot of time, so you can get things done more quickly. But in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you have to craft and buy things one at a time. If you need to craft fish bait, medicine, or anything else you would need multiples of, it can take a very long time. If you want to buy bell vouchers as a way to spend your extra Nook Miles, it'll also take you a very long time. It's really boring sitting there pressing the same buttons over and over again just to get things done. This is why a lot of fans just go to treasure islands when they need bells or fish bait because it isn't worth the effort. It would be really easy to fix this, and fixing it would make the game much less tedious. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Are you a gamer? Do you like excitement? Do you like anime? Are you, like many otakus, broke? Well then I have just the list for you! Because today's blog post will be a list of several of my favorite free to play games. All of these games are free to download, and completely free to play; which means it isn't necessary to buy anything to enjoy the game. I also won't be including otome games, since they're made specifically for women. So, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Genshin Impact

2.) Obey Me

3.) Honkai: Star Rail

4.) Twisted Wonderland

5.) Zenless Zone Zero

6.) Umamusume Pretty Derby

7.) Fate/Grand Order

8.) Cookie Run: Kingdom

What are Pokemon like in the Pokemon universe? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although a lot of people associate Pokemon with battling, not all Pokemon are like the ones owned by trainers. In fact, wild Pokemon are much more similar to animals than anything. They aren't domestic unless they're caught by a trainer, and sometimes they're still a bit dangerous until they've calmed down. Not all Pokemon are automatically domestic after being caught, either. Not only this, but wild Pokemon have no issues with attacking humans. That's why it's dangerous for people to travel without taking any Pokemon with them. It's also usually better to capture baby Pokemon instead of fully grown ones, since they're a lot easier to train. Most Pokemon are a lot like animals, with only a few of them being naturally intelligent and kind to humans. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about controller support for Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. I've talked about these games before, which are both made by the creators of Genshin Impact. Before these games, I almost exclusively played games on console or mobile. However, these games are not available on the PS4, and I didn't want to get them on mobile. So, I got them on the PC. Personally, I think the keyboard controls for Zenless Zone Zero were horrible. They were fine for Honkai: Star Rail, but Zenless Zone Zero was pretty much unplayable for me. So, I tried again with a PS4 controller with both games. Honkai: Star Rail has almost identical controller mapping as Genshin Impact. This makes it really easy to pick up, and it makes playing the game even easier. Along with this, the game automatically switches to the controller as soon as you start using it. On the other hand, Zenless Zone Zero has more unique button mapping. Despite this, it's also easy to pick up, and it automatically switches to the controller as well. I also want to mention that using a controller makes the combat a million times easier. With a controller, Zenless Zone Zero probably has one of my favorite combat systems between all three games. I regret not using a controller sooner, because I absolutely adore the combat in Zenless Zone Zero when I have one. It's fast, it's easy, and it keeps my attention well. It doesn't feel too difficult, and the quick time events are actually a really nice addition. It's amazing how much my opinion has changed just by switching from the keyboard to a controller. I know a lot of people may not share my opinion, but I really do believe using a controller has quickly fixed any problems I had with these games. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 is out, a lot of people are returning to Animal Crossing New Horizons. Although this is a good thing, it also may be a bit disappointing. Since there have been no new updates in years, people may become bored with it much more easily. This is because the game has a lot of repetitive gameplay. You can only craft one thing at a time, and buy one thing at a time. This is really tedious for making things like fish bait, or when people are buying clothes and bell vouchers. This can be fixed by getting some things like bait or tools from free treasure islands, but this is only available for people with a Nintendo Online subscription; since treasure islands are made and run by fans. It's nice that many fans are rediscovering this game, but I wish Nintendo would fix these issues to make the game more enjoyable. They're small fixes, which would be easy to add now that they've been updating the game with bug fixes. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about my favorite element in Genshin Impact. My favorite element has always been anemo. I love Mondstadt, Venti is my favorite archon, and I love the sense of freedom that anemo represents. A lot of my favorite characters are anemo users, as well. I've always felt a strong connection with this element ever since I started playing this game, and I believe if I had a vision, it would likely be an anemo one. I think it's interesting how players can feel a strong connection to the elements in this game, especially since I can't really explain why I feel so connected to it. I feel like this just shows how good Genshin Impact's world building is, especially since other fans have also felt drawn to certain elements. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I hadn't talked about Genshin Impact in a while, so I just wanted to do a simple little personal post. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the gacha system in Fate/Grand Order. Honestly, I've never seen a worse gacha. If there's a character you like, you're probably not going to get them. The rates for getting a four or five star character are painfully low, and it's really hard to get the Saint Quartz needed for summons. Along with this, event banner characters are really hard to get, since the pity levels are so high. Even when Saint Quartz are gifted for different events, it's mainly because the gifted Saint Quartz are for free summons, even though the featured summons require paid Saint Quartz. Which are two different things. They're really expensive to buy as well, so it'd just be easier to wait until a proper rerun. Despite this, special characters like Merlin or Oberon hardly ever get reruns; so you'll be waiting for a really long time. This bothers me a lot. In a game that has such a large amount of characters, it shouldn't be nearly impossible to get over half of them. No matter how popular this game is, it has a lot of issues. I wish they would fix this, because I want to like this game. But, I don't think they will ever fix it, even if they end up making another game at some point. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

There are new Pokemon plushies! These new plushies are based on the sleeping Pokemon from Pokemon Sleep. There are five different plushies available, and they will be releasing soon in Japan. The featured Pokemon are Dedenne, Bewear, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Along with this, buying the plushies during their first week of release gives you a special sticker of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly. This sticker allows you to encounter the Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep, as well. As of right now, it's unclear whether these plushies will be released globally or not. But, I wanted to talk about them anyways because they're very cute. As always, I will be including a picture of the plushies below so you all can see what they look like. I will also be including the link for the official announcement. However, the website will be in Japanese; so use a translator if you can't read it! Enjoy!

It's post time! With Animal Crossing New Horizons coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, a lot of fans are wondering when the update will be. Recently, the game has received a few updates for better quality and bug fixes. However, long-time fans are looking forward to new content. But personally, I don't think there will be any. It's been years since any new content has been added to the game, and I don't think that will change any time soon. There haven't been any announcements for new Animal Crossing content at all, whether it be a game update or a new game entirely. I think Nintendo expects fans to just be happy with what they have, just like they always have. Nintendo as a company doesn't really care about the fans, so I don't think they'll allow any new game updates just because people want it. I don't mind being proven wrong, but I don't think I will be. There's nothing saying we'll be getting any new Animal Crossing content at all, so I don't think we should look forward to any new updates. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's the Fourth of July! So for this year's special post, I will be listing six Pokemon, along with a picture of each. They'll be red, white, and blue to celebrate the holiday, as well. I decided to do a nice simple post this year, so let's get on with the list! Enjoy! Happy Fourth of July!

1.) Sizzlipede

2.) Ledian

3.) Wingull

4.) Emolga

5.) Corvisquire

6.) Clauncher

Why do fans get bored of Animal Crossing New Horizons? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! A lot of fans eventually get bored of this game because of its repetitive nature. However, it's more than this. Not only do the tasks repeat, but so does the dialogue. After a while, none of the villagers or other NPCs will ever say anything different. Getting new villagers doesn't even help, because all villagers have the same dialogue. That's right, all villagers share the same dialogue. There isn't any difference between them as long as they share a personality type. For example, Marshal will have the same dialogue as Raymond. So if you like both of them and want both on your island, you'll hear the same things twice. It's really frustrating, because Animal Crossing is supposed to be about connections and community. How are we supposed to be connected to the villagers if they're all the same? How can we talk about things they do with other fans if all fans have the same experience? It's really boring, and it's sad to see such a popular game series become this. We shouldn't have to wait for a new game to fix these problems, because the next game will probably be just as bad. Do villains have to be sympathetic? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Recently it's been common to see villains that are evil or just downright awful, but then later they're given a sad or relatable backstory. This makes you feel bad for them, which kind of makes it feel like the creators want you to excuse the villain for being a villain. Although this works with some characters, I really don't agree with it for all of them. Sometimes villains should just be villains. Not everyone has to have a tragic motivation. For some antagonists, it's better if they just wake up one day and decide to be a jerk. This also works for characters who are doing bad things out of curiosity, or in the name of science. They don't think they're doing anything bad as long as they get a result, so these types of characters don't need to have a tragic backstory. Sometimes there are exceptions. Like people who don't understand others, people who are just doing their jobs, and people who are just being bad for the fun of it. Not every villain should have an excuse for being a villain, and I think having a variety of motivations makes things more interesting. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! The game Umamusume: Pretty Derby was just recently released. It's a free to play mobile game, which is based on the series of the same name. This game is a simulation game where you meet cute horse girls and train them to victory. They compete in horse races, and your goal is to guide them to first place. It's a simple game, with a good story. However, it has amazing animation. The game is fully animated and voice acted. Even the victory concerts that occur after races are fully animated. Of course, this does sometimes cause some glitched animations, but it actually runs really smoothly. Starting the game gives you a lot of the carats necessary to scout new horse girls, which is the gacha system for the game. I was a bit hesitant to play this game, because quite a few people have complained about this series before. However, I'm glad I gave into my curiosity, because I'm actually really impressed with this game. I recommend it, since it has cute characters, nice animation, a good story, and it even has extra stories or surprise encounters for specific characters. As always, here's a picture from the game so you all can see what it looks like. Enjoy!
