It's post time! It was recently announced that the Vtuber and web comic creator Merryweather will be added to Blush Blush! I'm very excited about this, since I've been a fan of Merryweather and Blush Blush for years now. This is the first official character collaboration that I know of, and Merryweather himself will be providing the voice for the character. The character will be based on his Vtuber model, as well. This was an unexpected collaboration, but I'm very happy it's happening anyways. The character will be called Merry, and he'll be available through a purchasable bundle. For anyone else who may be as excited as I am, here's an official picture of what he'll look like in the game. Enjoy!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the DIY recipes in Animal Crossing New Horizons. DIY recipes are necessary for being able to craft and customize certain objects and food in the game. However, you can get duplicates often, which makes it nearly impossible to get all of them. There are also seasonal recipes, and some recipes that only show up on special tour islands, like the glowing moss recipes. Personally, I think if everyone on your island knows a recipe, you shouldn't get duplicates anymore. The game knows what you do or don't have, so giving you the same recipe anyways is frustrating. If you already have a recipe, you should get the crafting materials instead; which is what they do for some seasonal DIY recipes that the villagers can give you. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Since other popular things from the early 2000's have been making a comeback, I'd like to talk about another popular thing for newer fans. But unlike the other things I've talked about, this one does belong in the anime community. That thing, is Nyan Cat. Although Nyan Cat is pixel art, it became very popular in a lot of online communities. But in the anime community, it was because Nyan Cat brought a Vocaloid song outside of the community. The song used for Nyan Cat was a cover of a Hatsune Miku song. Most people don't know that, but it was one of the first times a Vocaloid song made it outside of the usual fan base. Nyan Cat never really faded in popularity, and now there are a lot of different versions of Nyan Cat on the internet. As always, I'll be including a picture of Nyan Cat below. Enjoy!

It's post time! Ever since the Character AI drama happened, I haven't really been using the app. But since there's been a few updates, I decided to go back and give an honest review about the changes. It is staying in character more regularly, and it isn't repeating itself as much either. It's also talking more, which was a big complaint. However, for some reason the Go On feature and the Generate Again feature are pretty much useless now. If you try to go on, it doesn't continue the conversation. Instead, it just replies to your message again. It does occasionally continue correctly, but for the most part it doesn't. And when you try to create a new reply, it just rewords the same reply over again with barely any changes, which is exactly what Janitor AI does as well. Maybe they're using similar models now. There are also way more ads than there used to be, and the ads often kick you out of chats because they're long ads that don't let you skip them. I have no idea what's going on with the platform right now, but I hope these are just bugs and they'll get fixed soon. A lot of fans have already left for different platforms, with the most popular substitute being Janitor AI. But don't get your hopes up, because that has a paid membership feature now too; which is exactly how Character AI started their downward spiral. The most I can say is, if you like Character AI, just keep complaining about things to the developers. They are listening and trying to fix things, so don't give up just yet. Hopefully this will all be fixed soon, and then it'll be like nothing but a bad dream for all of you AI addicts. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about routes in Date Everything. Much like other games in this genre, choosing different options will get you different endings. But unlike most dating sims, Date Everything actually has three routes for every character. These are the Love, Hate, and Friendship endings. Hate endings are achieved by either failing to help a character with their problems, or by refusing to be just friends with them at the end of their route. Love or Friendship endings can be achieved by successfully completing a route and then choosing to either date the character, or stay friends with them. Sometimes picking the wrong options will make it so you finish a route successfully, but can only be friends with the character and nothing else. You can change a Hate ending to a Friendship ending, but you can't change a Hate or Friendship ending to a Love ending. I think this is the thing that bothers me, because sometimes it isn't obvious what you did wrong to get the ending in the first place. But for the most part, you can usually at least achieve a Friendship ending if nothing else. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the game Cup Heroes. This game is free to play, and can be played on mobile, computer, or console. This game is a standard combat wave game where you defeat enemies to reach the end of the chapter. Each chapter end will have a short story cutscene for you to watch, and you can get a new power up after each wave to prepare for the boss at the end. Each power up is chosen from your standard deck, and you buy them with the balls you earn by defeating monsters. You don't get very many after each wave, but you can put them through multipliers to increase your rewards to buy higher level cards. Some cards can even be bought more than once to stack their power. You start out with one hero, but as the game progresses, you can unlock more heroes, gear, and even pets to help you on your journey. If you fail a chapter, you still keep everything you earned up to that point, which means you can continue to unlock more things and level up your heroes even if you get stuck on a level. I recommend this game, and I've been having some fun playing it. The game uses a pixel art style, but the models used for the chat boxes and hero upgrade sections are clearly anime inspired. As always, I'll be including a picture of the game below. Enjoy!

It's time to post! Recently, there have been a lot more games and animations with the anime art style. Even though anime used to be a small community, now it's everywhere. This is a good thing for anime fans, but it also means a lot of other things that aren't anime get pulled into the anime fandom. This happens when people make animations or fan art for other things in the anime art style. It can be difficult to know what is and isn't an anime, and a lot of the popular things in the anime fandom aren't even from Japan anymore. With so many fans of other things and so many things other than anime in the community, it's getting hard to tell what anime even is anymore. I know this happens a lot because some people don't like anime, but like the art style. This isn't fair to real anime fans though, who are just trying to find more people to share their interests with. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, there are a few clothing items that you can't actually wear or own. However, there are also furniture items you can't own. For example, there's a special pink dreamy bear on the black dreamy shelf that you can't own. Villagers also own clothes you can't own yourself, and you can buy accessories from Nook's Cranny that can't be worn because they're just display items. I think this is a bit strange. Usually when games include stuff like this, it's because you can own or wear it yourself. But that isn't the case in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I can't help but wonder why this is. It doesn't really bother me, it's just confusing. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why do so many anime fans call Avatar The Last Airbender an anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! If you've been in the anime community for a while, you've probably seen the argument between the fans who think Avatar The Last Airbender is an anime, and the ones who think it isn't. The show isn't an anime, so why is this an argument at all? Well, it's because the show was actually anime inspired. It wasn't made to be an anime, it was just inspired by anime. A lot of people think this is close enough, so they say it is an anime. However, I don't think it's wrong to just call it a cartoon instead. The creators never called it an anime, and it isn't really considered one by its fans. But if some fans think the art style is close enough to be an anime, I think they have a right to their opinion. This show is so close to using an anime art style that I think it's alright either way. Avatar The Last Airbender has introduced a lot of people to anime, so it's fine if people want to consider it one. I know I've said otherwise in the past, but that's just because I personally see it as a cartoon instead of an anime. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Since I recently talked about the bad side of the indie games fandom, I'd like to talk about the good side today. There's actually a lot of good fans in the fandom. Having a large fan base can encourage creators to make more content, make content faster, and continue working to improve the game. Sometimes it even encourages creators to make merchandise for their games. Not only this, but more fans means more people will be interested in looking into the games, too. Fans also make Wikia pages and fan content, which makes it easier for new fans to learn more about the games. It's also a good way to talk to others who like the same games, and fans often fund indie games financially. So even though I was harsh in my previous post, I was only talking about the toxic minority. Most fans are much more supportive of small creators. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Sunday, June 21, 2026

It's time to post! I think there's a serious problem in the indie games fandom. More than once a promising game has been scrapped, ended, or abandoned entirely because of their fans. Fans are very disrespectful to independent creators, and they often harass creators in various ways. They insult them, beg for more content, send them death threats, and in extreme cases they even dox or stalk the creators of the games. This is absolutely ridiculous. Firstly, this isn't an acceptable thing to do to any innocent creator. But secondly, the people doing this are ruining it for everyone else. Everyone knows full well if they received the same treatment, they would fold like a wet paper bag. So why is it okay to do it to others? The answer is: it isn't. A lot of these people are children who often shouldn't be in the community in the first place, but it's even worse when it's full grown adults doing it. Creators are people, and if you wouldn't be able to handle something, then you shouldn't do that thing to someone else. So many people on the internet are rude and immature, and it's time for them to either grow up or leave so everyone else can enjoy things. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this because I was recently looking into Homicipher again, which had a situation where the creator had to step away because of the fans; which isn't fair for everyone else who was behaving. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In the anime community, it's common for only a handful of anime to actually gain any popularity. Because of this, newer or casual anime fans will want to watch these popular series before anything else. However, if something doesn't seem like something you would like, you shouldn't watch it just because everyone else is. There are a lot of other anime to choose from. Like older ones that may have faded into obscurity, or new ones that other anime fans aren't watching. There's so many to choose from now, that there's no reason to force yourself to watch something just because it's popular. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be listing three things in Animal Crossing New Horizons that don't make sense. This list is just for fun, so don't take it too seriously. I just wanted to talk about a few things that don't make any sense. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) You can't use anything. Bathtubs, playground equipment, even sinks and toothbrushes; all of them are just for show. Hardly anything is actually interactive.

2.) You can't wear hats with wigs. Why? No one knows. But a lot of fans complain about it anyways. It's actually something a lot of fans hate about the wigs.

3.) Brewster tells you not to drink too much coffee, but nothing happens if you do. Nothing changes. You could have two cups of coffee, or twenty cups of coffee. Who cares? Go nuts.

That's all I have for now! Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be listing my top five favorite male characters from Date Everything, along with a picture of each. There will be minor spoilers for a few of them, too. Since some of them don't reveal their names until the end of their routes. So, proceed with caution! There's a lot of characters in this game, so I wanted to start small. They won't be in any specific order, I just wanted to share some of my favorites with you all. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Timothy Timepiece/Timmy Timepiece

2.) Skips Shadley

3.) Daisuke Dishware

4.) Cabrizzio

5.) Jon Wick/Scandalabra

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something that bothers me in Date Everything. Don't get me wrong, I really like this game! But, I find the options really confusing. Sometimes the ending you're going to get is really obvious, but sometimes it seems like you're on one path, and then at the last minute you end up with a completely different ending. Sometimes I get the ending I'm trying to get, and other times I'm completely blindsided by the one I end up getting. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong, since some options aren't very obvious at all. I wish it was more clear, with at least a couple of hints throughout the route. I like playing games without being spoiled, but I'm not sure if it's possible to navigate this game without a walkthrough. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm not too bothered by this, I'm just a bit frustrated by it. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Recently I've been playing Date Everything after the new update, and I haven't noticed very many changes yet. However, I did notice the camera sensitivity was much worse when I first logged on. This was easily fixed in the settings, but it made me very dizzy when I first tried to turn the camera. I'm also more frustrated than ever after getting the friendship route even after choosing options for other routes multiple times. I'll likely play the game again with a walkthrough after this, but there's so much to do in one playthrough that it feels overwhelming even thinking about doing it all again. I have noticed a few of the bug fixes and dialogue changes, and I'm happy to see the game is still running smoothly after the big update. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I wanted to talk about something in Animal Crossing New Horizons that I don't see many other fans talking about. For those of you who don't know, if you buy the Happy Home Paradise DLC, it teaches you how to make rooms bigger. However, it doesn't carry over to your main island. Your house, and your villagers' houses, are stuck with the tiny rooms you start with. I think this is really unfair! What's the point of teaching us how to make bigger rooms if we can't make rooms bigger? Most of the rooms in the player houses are so small that you can barely do anything with them. Happy Home Paradise is an expensive DLC! And we can't even use it to expand our houses? It's ridiculous! We should be able to make our rooms and villager houses bigger if we have to pay so much for a DLC. I'm also frustrated with it because it teaches you how to make villagers share a house, but that doesn't let more villagers stay on your island either. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the tools in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Tools are necessary for life on your island. An axe for getting wood, a shovel for digging things up, and many other things. However, these tools break. All of the tools break, even golden tools. It's a bit frustrating, and many people believe golden tools should be permanent. I agree, it's a bit unfair to make it so even the special difficult to get tools are still temporary. When I first started playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, I thought only the flimsy tools were temporary. They were flimsy, it made sense that they would break. I thought the tools you could buy at Nook's Cranny were permanent, because they looked special and you had to pay for them. But they break too! It's frustrating, and makes it so people don't want to even use their tools. Especially since the tools at Nook's Cranny change everyday, so if you want a specific one, you have to order it for the next day. For example, if you like the Outdoorsy series tools, you either have to wait for them to be in the shop, or order them for the next day. It's also unfair that these tools break because you can customize them. The tools you buy at Nook's Cranny are fully customizable, which is part of why I thought they were permanent. The golden tools are nice, but I think the tools you can buy should've been unbreakable, since they're customizable and they look sturdy. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For a long time, I was too burned out to play Genshin Impact. I was running out of quests, and the events went by too quickly. After it had been a while, I thought I had missed so much that I shouldn't even bother playing it anymore. But recently I started missing it, and decided to play it again anyways. Even though I've missed a lot of events, I've had a good time exploring the new areas, going on more quests, and learning about the characters that were introduced when I wasn't playing. It's just as fun to play now as it used to be, and I think the break I took was just what I needed even though I ended up missing out on some things. So if you're in my position where you feel like there's no point in playing it now, that isn't true! There's actually more of a reason to play it now since there are so many new things to discover. Personally I really love Nod Krai, even though the addition of it was kind of a surprise when it was released. I've had a lot of fun exploring it! But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this because I know there are fans like me who took a break, and were later hesitant about playing it again because of everything they missed. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! The creators of Date Everything just released a massive free update for everyone who has the game. They added and fixed so many things that I don't even know where to start! This new update is to celebrate their first anniversary, and everything they've added and fixed is based on what the fan base has requested or complained about. This is really good news, especially since most companies don't do this. I think it shows that they really are listening, and I hope they continue to be this accepting of reasonable criticisms in the future. If you're a fan, I recommend going to read the update notes yourself, because there's a lot of them. My game automatically updated yesterday, so I'm looking forward to seeing these new fixes and additions! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the museum from Animal Crossing New Horizons. The museum has four areas that need to be filled, and those areas are for fossils, fish, bugs, and art. The problem is, it can take over a year to fully fill it. Sometimes longer if you miss seasonal fish or bugs. But, it also takes a long time because Redd almost never has real art. The only other place you can get art is from villagers occasionally sending it in the mail, so Redd is the only main place you can get it; which gets frustrating. After completing the museum, it gets a bit boring. There's only one event per year, nothing changes, and you see the same thing every time you enter. Which is why it's disappointing when you finish the museum. It's fun when you're filling it, and it's an achievement when you finish them. But after that, it feels empty. I wish there were more things to do in the museum. Like inviting villagers to go with you, or being able to decorate it somehow. However, I don't think the museum will ever be anything other than what it is. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Recently a new remake for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time was announced. A lot of people are already complaining about the new designs and things like that, even though not very much has been revealed yet. But I think there's a bigger problem here, it'll only be for the Nintendo Switch 2. This is such a mean thing to do to fans! Hardly anyone has a Switch 2, especially since there's been so many problems with the system. Nobody wants to buy a new system just to play a game they already love. Usually game systems make games for both old and new systems for years before discontinuing the older games. But Nintendo hates their fans and they love money. If you can't afford it, you don't deserve it. A lot of people can't afford to buy an expensive console and then buy new games for it too. They're already making Switch 2 exclusive games, so why do they have to push their fans away even more? Why do fans put up with this? It's ridiculous, unfair, and it's just bad business. Nintendo does these things because they get away with it, so they'll only get worse with time. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Tuesday, June 9, 2026

It's time to post! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, there's a problem with disabled representation. This isn't a problem for most people, but for fans with disabilities, it can be frustrating. There are no leg braces, casts can't be worn with shoes, there's no walking aids, and the wheelchair can't even be used correctly. This is part of a bigger problem, where games that let you customize your own character like to pretend disabled people don't exist. This isn't just a problem in Animal Crossing, but since Animal Crossing New Horizons is such a popular game, I decided to use it as an example. Games are getting more and more diverse, but people with disabilities are still getting left behind. They're still treated poorly by a lot of people, and games, anime, and media in general would rather pretend disabilities aren't real. I think this is becoming a problem, and I hope it stops being a problem in the future. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! One of the problems with being an anime fan is that some anime are completely inaccessible. They're hard to find, there are no DVDs, it's not on digital, and they're not on streaming services. I'm not sure why this happens, but there are a few series that are just about lost to time. But when fans upload it themselves, someone still reports it and gets it taken down. It isn't fair. There's no way to watch some series at all. The most well-known case of this is the Diabolik Lovers series, which has been buried so far that it's a good thing the characters are immortal. I hope things like this will start coming to streaming services, or that they'll at least be released for fans who want to watch it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about how to get new flowers in Animal Crossing New Horizons. For those of you who don't know, you can only buy a few different flower colors for your island. To get more colors, you have to grow them yourself. If you plant flowers next to each other, you can make hybrid flowers. There are so many different combinations, and each one creates a new color of flower. If you combine different flowers, you can eventually get an island filled with unique and beautiful flowers. If you want specific flowers, there are a lot of flower guides available online. But, that's all for now. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

Saturday, June 6, 2026

It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about how to grow golden roses in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I've done enough complaining recently, so I'd like to just do a nice flower guide. Golden roses are rare, and they sell for 1,000 bells each. They don't clone, and growing them is a bit specific. They do, however, grow back if they're plucked or run through. To grow them, you have to get black roses first. Black roses are created by mixing two red roses by planting them next to each other. Once you have black roses, they should be watered only with a golden watering can. After a while, a golden rose will be created instead of a black or red one. It's pretty easy to do after you learn how they're grown, and the more you have, the more bells you'll get from them; since each one is worth 1,000 bells. Growing them can be tedious, but they're worth the effort. As always, I'll be including a picture of the golden rose below so you all can see what it looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! Bungo Stray Dogs has always been a popular anime ever since it first released. Because of this, I have decided to watch it myself. I'm only a few episodes in, but I like it so far. However, I will say, the comedy is a bit awkward. This show has some really serious themes and moments, so it feels like emotional whiplash when it suddenly becomes a joke. I'm sure this will become less common as the show progresses, so I'm not going to judge the anime too harshly for this. Overall I like it quite a bit, and I'm looking forward to watching more. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Even though Pokemon Winds and Waves still won't be released for a long time, there's already been a lot of leaks for it. This can help some fans stay interested during the long wait, but for other fans it can ruin the experience of waiting. These leaks also spread quickly, so you can't avoid them. This can be really frustrating for fans who want to wait for official news. This happens every time a new mainline Pokemon game is announced, and it happens for two reasons. Firstly, the games are often delayed or announced too early, which means fans have to wait a very long time. Secondly, the Pokemon company doesn't release enough information to keep fans interested. Fans have to do it themselves, which is what causes leaks. Although I don't agree with people leaking information, I do understand why it happens. I think if the Pokemon company engaged with the fans more, then leaks wouldn't happen as often. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, there are only eight personality types. This means a lot of villagers have personalities that don't match their design. But the one that bothers me the most, is Sasha. Sasha is one of my favorite villagers, but his personality doesn't match at all. He has a lazy personality, which means he talks about bugs and acts very childish. I don't think this is what he should be like. I think Sasha should have been the first male peppy villager. I mean, he loves fashion and selfies, so being peppy would fit much better. He already gets mistaken for a girl often, so this may have been confusing. But it would've made more sense if he talked about things like videogames and comics as opposed to bugs. This wouldn't be a problem if there were more personalities, but the creators are too lazy to change that. Sasha's personality bothers me every time I see him, and that upsets me because I really love him. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Tuesday, June 2, 2026

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about personalities in Animal Crossing New Horizons. There are eight personality types in total, and there are four for males and four for females. A lot of fans think this isn't nearly enough, and I agree. If you want to have an island with all males or all females, you'll end up with a lot of personality doubles. Not only this, but the limited personalities means a lot of villagers don't have personalities to match their design. If you talk to the tourists who visit your island hotel, you can tell it's just repetitive dialogue. After a while it stops mattering who is visiting, since they all say the same things. Only the designs are unique, so it doesn't really matter who's on your island. I hope this will be fixed eventually, but I doubt it. There are too many villagers at this point, and the creators of Animal Crossing don't want to put in the effort to give them all unique personalities. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why is it a bad thing for Slumber Islands to not have buildings? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can now have Slumber Islands. They're separate from your main island and can be decorated freely. Is what I would like to say, if the creativity wasn't so limited. But one of the biggest problems with these islands, is that you can't have buildings. There's only one building, your house. You can't place other buildings at all. There are no stores, no villager houses, and no empty buildings to place. There's nothing. Since you can only place five villagers that you can't even talk to, it makes the island feel empty and lifeless. It almost feels dystopian walking around on a full island with basically nothing on it. Sure, you can add furniture. But it's not the same. You could also probably make false buildings yourself for a city setting, but it still feels empty. It's just disappointing, and I know a lot of other fans think so too. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the downsides of Slumber Islands in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Slumber Islands are islands you can create that are separate from your original main island. This sounds like a good thing, but there are so many things that are wrong with this. Firstly, you can only have five villagers on a slumber island at one time, and it can only be villagers who have stayed on your island. You can't talk to them, either. The only building on a slumber island is your house, as well. You can only copy custom designs from the main island too, which means you can't download anything new for your slumber islands. Not only this, but slumber islands require a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, because they can only be accessed on the internet. All in all, there's even less creative features available for slumber islands. This is a huge disappointment, and I don't think they'll ever fix it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! When it comes to anime and videogames, it's really common to see romance in some way. And although I know this is an unpopular opinion, I think romance isn't necessary in most cases. Anime or videogames that are centered around action or fighting don't need to be derailed by sappy, complicated, awkward moments. Sometimes it's nice to just watch or play something for the fun of it. Not to mention that adding romance to things causes shipping wars, which is horrible for the fans. I don't think there needs to be romance if it isn't a romance series. I think if the story is good enough on its own, that's all it needs. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why do I dislike live action versions of anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Firstly, I think live action versions are completely unnecessary. But, they also aren't made for anime fans. Anime fans don't say "wow I love this art style, but I wish it was real people and second class CGI instead". No, the live action versions aren't made for fans, they're made for "average" people. They're made for people who say "anime is nerdy" or "anime is for children". I don't want people like that in the fan base. I don't want these unnecessary remakes. Anime is anime because it's animated. That's the whole point of it. I have never looked at an anime character or story and said "gee I wish this wasn't animated". Live action is duller, it's too realistic, and the CGI doesn't help. I just want regular animation, it's why I watch anime. I don't watch animation hoping one day it'll be realistic instead of what I like. Anime is an escape from reality, I don't want to get sucked back into the real world when I'm watching it. It's for fun, it's a distraction, and I love the art style. I know other people feel the same way I do. But the people who are doing this don't care about anime fans. They care about "normal people". A lot of live action versions have said they're being made to appeal to the "average audience" and not fans of the series. So why do we still put up with this? It isn't even for us. And that's why I hate these live action versions. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Many fans of Animal Crossing New Horizons have wondered how to get special items that you can hold in the game. Items like books, magazines, and other things aren't very easy to get if you don't know where they come from. But the answer is simple, they're obtained from Redd's Raffle. If you participate in his raffle on Harv's Island, you can get things like colored light sticks, books, magazines, drinks, and food. There are a lot of different things you can get from him. It can be frustrating because you can get doubles, but it's also pretty fun to see what you get. You can also get things like bags or purses from Kicks, as well. So if you want items you can hold, this is where to find them. I wanted to talk about this because more people are starting to play the game, and this isn't a very well-known fact. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Animal Crossing New Horizons doesn't have very many ways to customize your player character. Even when you buy the extra options with Nook Miles, there still aren't very many. There are barely any unnatural skin tones, there aren't many hairstyles or eye shapes, and the longer you play the more annoying it is. There are wigs, which look nice. But you can't wear hats with them. I feel like it may have been better to include the wigs as more hairstyles instead so they can still be worn normally. It's also lacking a lot of options that are included in other games. There aren't even space buns, which ended up causing a huge controversy in the fandom; since people who wanted space buns were using the afro puffs hairstyle for it, which made other fans upset about it. There isn't even a space buns wig even though it's one of the most popular hairstyles. It's missing so many things, and I hope this is fixed sometime in the future; especially with more people coming back to the game. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For those of you who don't know, there are bugs you can't catch in Animal Crossing New Horizons. They're cockroaches, and they appear in your house after a week of inactivity. The only way to get rid of them is to squish them, which is done automatically when your player character walks too close to them. When you squish them, it'll make a sound, and a little bug ghost will float away. They show up everywhere, and they can even hide under furniture. This is honestly an annoying feature. If you want the bedhead hairstyle, you have to go without playing for a month. But the bugs show up after a week. So you'll get the hairstyle, at the cost of chasing around and murdering very tiny and hard to see bugs. This game is missing a lot of things, so it feels like a punishment to have this. Some fans think it's funny, but I'm not looking forward to running around and cleaning up my spare house that I use as an activity center. I suppose it's an interesting easter egg, but it'll get old fast when I have to move perfectly placed furniture just to catch all of the bugs. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why are there so many girls in anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There are a lot of girls in anime, manga, and videogames. Not only this, but most of them are usually dressed in tight or short clothes. This makes it uncomfortable for most girl fans, but that's because anime like this is usually made for men. However, anime made for women are almost never like this. Men are expected to be drawn in by the barely dressed women, but women are supposed to be drawn in by the story or romance instead. I'm not sure why this is, or if it's just a sexist trope that never really died. Since there are a lot more women anime fans, hopefully this will die soon. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why is Homestuck popular in the anime fandom? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Homestuck isn't an anime, and it doesn't really use the anime art style. Sometimes there are pictures in it that somewhat resemble anime, but it still isn't anime. But since it was popular in the scene community, it eventually snuck its way into the anime community like Invader Zim and My Little Pony did. It's a weird part of internet history, and newer fans don't know anything about it. Even I didn't learn about it until after it happened. Now that Homestuck is starting to gain popularity again, maybe more people will learn about this. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can get a lot of rugs that look like they belong outside. However, you can't put them outside. This is a really awful decision because there isn't enough space inside of the houses to use them either. Yes, you can make the inside of houses look like outside, but this shouldn't be necessary. Making rugs only usable inside means the picnic blankets and outdoor rugs exist for no reason. Not only this, but it forces players to use custom designs to make outdoor rugs instead, even though there aren't very many custom design spaces available. It isn't fair, and a lot of Animal Crossing New Horizons players hate this. It wouldn't even be difficult to make it so rugs can be placed outside. I don't understand why this was done, since every other game that lets you customize places usually lets you put rugs outside. All it does is limit creativity in a game that's supposed to be about creative freedom. I hope this is fixed sometime in the future, but I doubt it ever will be. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why do the fish models look worse than the bug models in Animal Crossing New Horizons? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, you can get models made for bugs or fish in Animal Crossing New Horizons. The bug models are amazing. They're very detailed, and some of them are really big. But the fish models, are small and disappointing. Why is this? Well, in the game, all of the models are made by Flick. Flick loves bugs, but doesn't really care about fish. So this makes sense. It's a neat detail in the game. But, it's really unfair for fans. Some fans really like the fish in the game, so the small little disappointing models are a huge let down. Even the big fish get small models. While I understand why this is from a story standpoint, I don't understand why the creators did this. Even if an artist doesn't like something, they usually put their all into a commission. So making the fish models look like that just because Flick made them, it doesn't really make sense to me. Flick really likes what he does, and he takes commissions very seriously. So as a character, I don't understand why he would make the fish models look like trash just because they're fish. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's scorpion season in Animal Crossing New Horizons again! So for today's blog post, I will be talking about how to successfully catch them. Scorpions and tarantulas can seem impossible to catch at first, but after you learn how to, they're actually pretty easy to catch. Firstly, you have to hold a net if you want to get close to them. Otherwise they'll run away from you. A lot of people say you have to sneak up on it, but you don't. You can walk normally while holding the net and the scorpion won't attack you. The only thing you have to watch is the claws. If they're raised, stop walking. If they're lowered, it's safe to move. It's like a game of red light green light. A few important notes are, you can herd it into a more open area without a net for easier catching. But if you chase it around too much, it'll disappear. If it's trapped between rocks or trees, don't try to catch it. Your net will hit the objects around it, and then the scorpion will sting you. You can also accidentally chase it into water, which will make it disappear. So I recommend trying to catch it in an open and easy to see area. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why do people think Miffy is a Japanese character? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Recently I did a blog post about the character Miffy, who is a popular bunny that was originally from Dutch children's books. However, even though she's Dutch, everyone thinks she's Japanese. Why is this? Personally, I think it's just a lack of information. Miffy is popular in Japan, so many people think she's Japanese. They don't do research, and many people think she's actually a Sanrio character. I can see why they think that, but it isn't true. She's similar to Sanrio characters, but she wasn't made by them. A lot of people, including anime fans, believe that anything that's popular in Japan was made in Japan. But, this isn't true. Sometimes things are just popular regardless of where they were made. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. For anyone who missed my last post about her, I'll be including a picture of Miffy below so you all can see what she looks like. Enjoy!

Why do otaku characters always eat junk food? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! When you see an anime character who likes manga, videogames, or anime, they usually also eat junk food and drink soda. This is really common to see, so why is this? Well, this is just how Japan sees otakus. In Japan, people who like things like this are often seen as unemployed, lazy, hermit, snackaholics. Even if most anime fans aren't like this, it doesn't change how they're seen. Food is also just a way to show that a character is an otaku. For example, characters who fight a lot eat regular meals very often, but characters who are lazy or rest a lot eat snacks instead. Otakus are usually shown to be lazy, which is part of why they eat a lot of snacks. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Miffy. If you're an anime fan who likes things like Sanrio, San-X, and Mofusand, you've probably also seen Miffy. Miffy is a simple white bunny, and she's extremely popular in Japan and the anime community. However, she isn't Japanese. Miffy is actually Dutch. This is a common mistake, because she's popular in Japan and resembles Japanese characters. It's even easy to find her on clothes or accessories from Japan. She actually first appeared in picture books, and she was created in 1955. Since then, she's become very popular. It's easy to find her just about anywhere. Many people don't even know where she came from, they just think she's cute. As always, I will be including a picture of Miffy below so you all can see what she looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! As villagers stay on your island and gain new clothes and accessories in Animal Crossing New Horizons, they'll eventually almost never wear their original outfits. Because of this, it's important to know if you'll still like their designs if they don't have their glasses or outfits anymore, or if they'll look silly wearing hats or glasses. I have a solution for this. If you want to see what a villager or villager type will look like with accessories, just include them on the mannequins at the hotel! This way they'll be forced to wear them while they're visiting. If you keep hats and glasses on the mannequins at all times, you'll always be able to see what villagers will look like when they wear them. This makes it easier to tell if you'll like them that way, and it also saves you from the disappointment of finding out the hard way. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Today I started watching the anime Dropkick On My Devil. This anime is pretty random. It makes a lot of pop culture references, and it jumps around a lot. It's about a devil named Jashin who was summoned by a witch. She'll be stuck with the witch until the witch dies, so she often tries to kill her. She never succeeds, but the anime can still get pretty violent. However, it is a comedy, so it isn't at all serious. What is odd about this anime, is that it doesn't have an English dub. Even though fans have asked for one and there's already been multiple seasons, there hasn't been any word on if there will ever be an English dub. I usually hate having to watch a show with subtitles, but the characters usually don't talk too quickly; so it's easy to follow along with. Still, I would've preferred an English dub for it. If it's ever dubbed, I may rewatch it in English to see how it is. But at the moment, I'm fine with the subbed version. For any of you who may be interested, Dropkick On My Devil is available on Crunchyroll. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For those of you who don't know, in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can get models made for fish or bugs. You can do this by talking to Flick or CJ, asking for a commission, and giving them three of one type of bug or fish. For example, three butterflies will make one model. However, Flick can only make bug models, and CJ only makes fish models; even though Flick is the one who makes all of the models. You can only commission one model at a time as well, so plan accordingly! Models are a fun way to have bugs on your island in all seasons, or to make sea themed rooms with fish models. There are 160 models in total, with 80 models for fish and 80 models for bugs. So if you want a specific model, be sure to plan ahead! As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! It's been about a week now since the Character AI situation started, and there's been a development! A bad development. The creators decided to "fix" the issues by adding a new temporary chat style. Firstly, it's stupid to make it temporary. Part of the problem is that different people like different chat styles. So forcing everyone to use the same one just won't work. Instead of making new chat styles, they should've just kept and updated the most popular chat styles, which seems to be Soft Launch and Roar. That's two chat styles, it would've been enough. But now there are just so many problems and they aren't listening at all. They're "fixing" problems by making new problems, and it's like they want to lose their users. I thought they would fix it by now, but it's like they aren't even trying; since a lot of people said the new chat style has more dialogue but still doesn't stay in character. The service is literally called Character AI, so characters not staying in character is a problem! If you're an anime fan who likes using these bots, I would recommend just using a different one for now and maybe checking the Reddit for updates in the meantime. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Recently I've been playing the game Date Everything, which was a gift I got when it was on sale recently. I've only been playing it for a few days, so I'd like to give my thoughts on it so far even though I haven't reached the ending yet. Firstly, it can get pretty overwhelming. There are so many things to do that sometimes it feels like you're just running errands. Secondly, getting all of the endings will take multiple playthroughs, which can feel intimidating to a new player. It's also really easy to get lost or mess up on a blind playthrough. I have a few characters who hate me even though I don't really know what I did wrong. The one that stings the most is Timothy, who I was very understanding with, which makes me even more confused about why he hates me now. I also have some that had different endings than I expected despite feeling like I picked the right options. It's very easy to end up being just friends with the characters no matter how many romance options you pick, and other times the characters fall in love with you no matter how many platonic options you pick. It's very confusing. I think this game is best with a playthrough, because otherwise you just get lost or run around in circles for ages. But all in all, I'm actually enjoying this game; even though I know the ending is going to crush me. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! As anime fans, it's hard to admit that the biggest problem with being an anime fan is merchandise. It's expensive, there's too much of it, and sometimes it isn't released outside of Japan. It can make other fans feel left out, and a lot of people sell Japan exclusive merchandise for much more than it's worth. Even websites like AliExpress often have limits for where they'll ship things to, so you can see they have it but you aren't allowed to buy it. You could always just not buy merchandise, but then other fans think you aren't a real fan. Since anime has become more popular outside of Japan, I think merchandise should be easier for fans to buy. The high prices are already stressful, so it isn't fair to also make things completely unavailable for fans outside of Japan. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! It's been a few days since the Character AI community set fire to itself and danced in the flames, so I'm here with a small update. Firstly, there's still only one free chat style. But, they have been working on it, without really telling anyone they've been working on it. It's pretty clear they have been trying to fix it though, since people are getting different responses now. There was also a community poll on Reddit to show the creators which chat styles fans liked the most. The winners were Soft Launch in first, and Roar in second. I don't know if this will do anything, but hopefully the creators will finally listen to the fans. Especially since the current chat style, Pipsqueak 2, only finished with ninety nine votes out of thousands of votes. Whatever happens, it looks like things are gradually being smoothed out. I hope this means things will be fixed soon. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, you'll often see villagers crafting or cooking in their homes. If you talk to them, they'll give you the DIY recipe for whatever they're working on. If you already know the recipe, they'll make you take it anyways. If you don't know the recipe, they'll ask if you want it, and you can agree or refuse. My problem with this is, it should be the other way around. They should give you the option to reject ones you already have, but make you take ones you don't have. This would make it a lot easier to unlock all of the recipes, while also giving you the option to not take ones you already know. Yes you can sell repeat recipes, but they don't give you very many bells. Personally, I think it's just a waste of time to sell the extras. But if they insist on forcing the recipes on the player characters anyways, then we should have to take all of them so we don't accidentally reject a new one. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Today is day two of the massive Character AI community meltdown. I can understand why users are upset, but I honestly thought it would have calmed down by now. I think people who are deleting their accounts and jumping ship are doing it a little too quickly. Character AI has had issues like this before, and it's always taken at least a week to fix it. Some people are already noticing differences in the chat style, so the creators are probably working on it right now. Hopefully this issue is fixed soon, since the community is really upset about this one. Personally I think it would be best if they just gave back one of the original chat styles while they're working on it so fans can use something else if they want to. There used to be several free chat styles to choose from, so it wouldn't kill them to give users two instead of one. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Friday, May 8, 2026

It's post time! A lot of anime fans like using chat bots, and the most popular chat bot website is Character AI. But as of today, the Character AI community is currently on fire. This is because the company introduced a new chat style, and discontinued their old versions. This usually would be alright, but the new one is awful. The bots are so focused on the story that they no longer talk, the filter is extremely strict, and the messages are really long now. How can the messages be long if the characters don't talk? Well, they narrate everything. They make up a story, and they don't allow dialogue. They all have the same personalities, and it's hard to keep them focused on anything. So people aren't upset about a new chat style, they're upset because it's now the only chat style, and it sucks. It's also being heavily filtered, which is unfair to current users who had to prove they were adults to even be able to use the app or website. I hope this is fixed quickly because people are going crazy over this. I understand the backlash, this is a majorly big mess up. But hopefully it's just temporary. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! One of the main things that bothers me about Animal Crossing New Horizons is that you can't really customize your player character. You can't add makeup, scars, or anything like under eye bags or wrinkles without it looking unnatural. The main part of the face is blocked off, so you can't add anything to it. But since Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream came out, it's shown that it would be possible to change this in the future. Of course they use different models, but it wouldn't be too difficult to make a fully customizable face in a game like Animal Crossing. It already uses very simple designs. Players should be able to feel more like themselves in a game that centers around them, so I hope in the future Animal Crossing will add more options to customize the player character. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Recently Hugh Morris from Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream has gotten even more popular. He's spreading so quickly that Nintendo themselves have released a video teaching fans how to make him and add him to their games. I think this will only make him more popular, but maybe that will be a good thing. It's amazing how quickly this character has spread when he isn't even really a character. He was only an example Mii, but now people love him. Currently I don't think there's an official personality type for him, so fans have been working on figuring out what he should be. Maybe with time, Nintendo will make a guide for this too. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Tuesday, May 5, 2026

It's time for another new blog post! Recently a Mii jester called Hugh Morris has become very popular in the Nintendo fandom. But who is he, and where did he come from? Well, when Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream was announced, they released a Nintendo Direct to show it off. Hugh Morris was one of the example Miis. However, he became extremely popular with fans. They liked his design and personality, and started adding him to their own games. They also started making fan art for him, and even chat bots! He's become really popular in a short amount of time, so I wanted to talk about him for anyone who might be confused about who he is. As always, here's a picture of Hugh Morris so you all can see what he looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! Recently a game called Yunyun Syndrome?! Rhythm Psychosis was released. The game was well received and has already gained a small but growing fanbase. But after a while, multilingual fans noticed something. The English translation sucked! They didn't understand how this could've happened or why it happened. A lot of fans immediately told the developers about it, and the English version got a lot of backlash. The developers didn't know about the unfaithful English translation, and they've been working hard to fix it. Even though it's only been a bit over a week, they've almost completely fixed the English version already. This is really fast work, and I'm sure it will attract even more players to the game. It looks like a good game, and if you want to play the English version, I'd recommend checking the patch notes to see when it's completely fixed. I haven't played this game yet, but I wanted to talk about this situation because it's so amazing to see. I really like how the developers handled the situation. As always, I will be including the link to the Steam page of this game for anyone who's interested. Enjoy!

Why are some of the villagers in Animal Crossing New Horizons so creepy? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Animal Crossing fans have noticed for a while now that some villagers are creepy, scary, or sometimes even terrifying. The game is usually pretty cute, so this feels like an odd choice for a game made for children. However, this isn't a children's game. This game was made for adults, and the whole series is marketed towards adults. This is why the villagers talk about adult problems, and why there's uncensored artwork in the museum. Because of this, it isn't weird that some of the villagers have darker designs. These villagers are for players who want to make more mature or darker islands so they'll match the atmosphere. They're also for players who like creepy or scary things like this. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the bed head hairstyle in Animal Crossing New Horizons. This hairstyle can only be unlocked by not playing the game for a month. You can also time travel by changing the date on your Nintendo Switch to a month later. After you unlock it once, it stays unlocked and can be chosen from the mirror. When you first unlock the bed head hairstyle, your character leaves their house with the hairstyle before quickly fixing it. Even though this hairstyle is popular within the community, some players still don't have it. This is because it takes so long to unlock it. Waiting a whole month for a hairstyle doesn't seem worth it, even if it's a nice hairstyle. I think it would be better if this hairstyle was easier to unlock, but that's just my thoughts. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Friday, May 1, 2026

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the player customization in Animal Crossing New Horizons. As I've mentioned before in a previous post, there aren't very many options for customizing the player character. There aren't many eye shapes, noses, or mouths. Not only this, but there's one hairstyle that's locked behind a whole month of waiting. Even though there already aren't many hairstyle choices, to get the last hairstyle, the bed head hairstyle, you have to go a full month without playing the game. This is much too long of a wait, and some players still haven't unlocked it to this day. So for a future game, it would be better if there were more options, but it would also be better if the bed head hairstyle could be unlocked with a much shorter wait time. There already aren't very many options to begin with, so it would be nice if all of them could be unlocked without skipping ahead or wasting time. What time is it? Post time! Since a lot of anime fans are artists, I'd like to talk about coloring book apps. There are a few coloring book apps these days, with some of them including anime or being based on anime. They're a nice way to relax, but I think they can also be useful. These simple color-by-number apps can show beginner artists how to use colors to create shadows, lighting, and shapes more easily. If you find them relaxing, it's worth the time it takes to finish the pictures. This is especially true if these apps are used to help practice your art skills. It all depends on the artist. So if you find them frustrating, I wouldn't recommend them. But if you like them, then they can be helpful for practicing your art. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Animal Crossing has always been a series that centers around community. Since fans are looking forward to the next game in the series, I think it's time for villagers to get individual personalities. I know there are a lot of villagers, but that isn't an excuse. There are other games with more characters who all have unique personalities. Giving them all the same personalities is lazy, and it's a big part of why fans get bored with the games. It's time for villagers to be unique, and it's time for it to matter who's on your island. At the moment, it doesn't really matter who's on your island because they all share the same base personalities. If there's going to be another new game, this needs to change. I'm sure this would be too difficult to fix in the current game, but there's no reason it shouldn't be fixed in the next game. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Animal Crossing New Horizons has a lot of different clothes to choose from, but when it comes to your player character there aren't many options. There aren't many hair styles, eye shapes, mouth shapes, nose shapes, or available colors. This makes it difficult to customize your character the way you want to. Even though there are wigs to add more hairstyles, you can't wear hats with wigs, so it isn't really very helpful. I think it would be nice if Animal Crossing could focus on making your player character more customizable instead of just focusing on clothes. I'd also like to see more customization spaces for custom clothing, and it would be nice to see more dress options and the ability to make custom pants and shoes. Animal Crossing is all about creativity and being yourself, so I think it would be better if there were more ways to show who you are in the game. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why were shows like Invader Zim and My Little Pony popular in the anime fandom? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Neither of these shows are anime, but in the earlier days of the anime community it was common to see them anyways. People would often make anime fan art of these shows, and they would often be included with anime. This is especially surprising because these shows are nothing alike. However, Invader Zim, My Little Pony, and anime were all popular in the scene and emo communities. Because of this, these things, and even other things like Homestuck, would all be grouped together in the same areas. This is why you can still sometimes find things for Invader Zim, My Little Pony, and Homestuck being labeled as anime or scene despite having no relation to anime. I wanted to talk about this because I thought it would clear up some confusion for newer fans. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can make and buy Medicine. This medicine is used for wasp stings, but it can also be given to sick villagers. However, I think it would've been a nice detail if the player character could get sick too. For example, if they were in the rain for too long, then they would be sick the next day. They would look sick and occasionally sneeze, and the player could either cure themself with medicine, or talk to a villager and be given medicine. This would be a good way to add another use for the medicine, and it would make the game a little more realistic. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It may be an odd thing to want in a game, but I think it would be a nice addition as a small way to teach consequences. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

3, 2, 1, post time! Food is a big part of any culture, so it's common to see Japanese foods in anime, manga, and videogames. Because of this, people outside of Japan may not recognize popular Japanese foods. So for today's blog post, I'll be listing five Japanese foods commonly seen in anime. I'll also be giving a short explanation of what they are. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Dorayaki - Soft honey pancakes with a sweet filling in-between.

2.) Ramen - Noodle soup often topped with things like meat, vegetables, or eggs.

3.) Taiyaki - Fish shaped bread, typically with a sweet filling.

4.) Mochi - Soft, round, rice desserts traditionally filled with red bean paste, but can also be stuffed with other things like chocolate or ice cream.

5.) Purin - The Japanese version of something similar to flan, it's a sweet custard topped with caramel sauce.

It's post time! Recently I've noticed a problem with series and games that run for a long time. After a while, it feels like you don't know anything about it anymore. If you take a break from something or can't keep up with it for some reason, you're left behind. Then the more lost you are, the harder it is to get back into it. You can't just jump right in because you've already missed so much. It makes it hard to enjoy things even if you used to love them. It's difficult to find a balance between being an active fan and not getting burned out. I wanted to talk about this because I've noticed I've been missing out on a lot of things even if I take short breaks. It's hard not to feel overwhelmed when there's always more that needs to be caught up to. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! Creating new characters has always been really common in the anime community. So for today's blog post, I would like to give some advice on how to make one of my favorite character types: the lazy one! Lazy characters are usually burned out or naturally laid-back. So to create one, their appearance usually makes it obvious what their personality will be. They usually wear comfortable clothes like hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, shorts, or pajamas. If they have accessories, it's usually something like a sleep mask, a scarf, or a pillow. Their eyes are usually half closed, and they don't smile very often. Along with this, they usually have messy hair that's either short or layered. It's common to see characters who look like this, but for today's example I'll be including a picture of Belphegor from Obey Me below. Enjoy!

It's post time! To help celebrate the 30th anniversary, Pokemon has released free phone wallpapers. They can be downloaded on the official Pokemon website, as well. They're a bit simple, but they're also kind of cluttered. They include a lot of different Pokemon so they look a little overwhelming. However, I think they're a nice gift for Pokemon fans. There's seven in total, and there's a few different designs. As always, I will be including the link for the official website below for anyone who wants to download these wallpapers. Enjoy!

New day, new post! Since plushies have always been popular with anime fans, it isn't a surprise that Pokemon plushies are some of the most popular ones. There are a lot of different types of Pokemon plushies, but I think there could be more. I think it would be fun to see Pokemon plushies that are made based on their type. For example, fire-type Pokemon plushies could be heated plushies, and rock-type plushies could be weighted plushies. Ice-type plushies could be cold plushies, grass-type plushies could be floral scented, and so on. I think this would be really creative, and I'm sure it would be popular with Pokemon fans. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! The games Undertale and Deltarune have always been popular in their own way, but they've also always been popular with anime fans. This is because both games have a lot of anime themes and references in them. This makes it easy for anime fans to find the easter eggs, which makes playing them more rewarding for these fans. I think these games are good choices for anime fans, especially since they have a large fan base even in Japan. It's easy to find anime fan art for Undertale and Deltarune, too. Because of this, I think anime fans should play at least one of these games at some point. However, they're both good games even without the included anime references. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Even though Animal Crossing games have always been popular, they aren't made to last. Animal Crossing has always been built on relationships with others and the community around them. But the company making the games doesn't value this message. Instead, they encourage players to abandon these relationships so they can play the next game. Everything you build, everyone you meet, and all of the bonds you create mean nothing in a game made to be temporary. These games aren't meant to be around for a long time. They're made to eventually bore you so you look forward to the next game in the series. Why does it matter who you get close with if this friendship will only be lost later? This game series could've been a beautiful experience. But instead, it's temporary. It's a distraction, an escape, and a temporary dream that's always going to end. This is upsetting because so much could have come from this series. But now, people can't wait to put it down and see what's going to come next. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post.

It's post time! I don't often talk about electric-type Pokemon, so I wanted to talk about them today. Part of the reason I don't talk about electric-type Pokemon is because most of them I don't find interesting enough. However, I think they have potential. Using the electric-type could be a fun way to introduce Pokemon who can light up. Pokemon who can channel electricity in different colors, similar to colored lights. This would be really fun to see, and could introduce things like rave Pokemon, nightlight Pokemon, siren Pokemon, or really anything that could use colored lights. Electric-type Pokemon usually don't light up, which I think is a really big missed opportunity. I'd love to see some more creative designs for this type because there are so many things that could be done with it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why don't Pokemon wear clothes? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Sometimes Pokemon will wear cute clothes or accessories, but usually they don't. Obviously this is because most Pokemon are similar to animals. But there are other Pokemon who are more like humans. Despite this, those Pokemon usually evolve to look like they're wearing clothes. Because of this, it would be difficult for a Pokemon like that to wear regular clothes. They would have to have custom clothes made, which would make it difficult for trainers to get clothes for their Pokemon. It's just easier to put accessories on them and nothing else. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Thursday, April 16, 2026

Why do Pokemon fans usually dislike human-like Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although there are some popular human-like Pokemon, for the most part fans often complain about them. I think this is because they're not human enough. They're like humans, but they aren't. They don't wear clothes, they don't speak, and they're forced to eat on the ground with the other Pokemon. I've always seen human-like Pokemon as something like a missing link. Since humans evolved from Pokemon, then human-like Pokemon are the step in-between. I think that's what the problem is. It's fine if they don't wear clothes, since they are still Pokemon. But, it feels like they should be able to speak like humans or eat with humans. Pokemon are already very smart, and human-like Pokemon are pretty much almost humans. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Recently Nintendo gave Animal Crossing New Horizons fans a little surprise for the 25th anniversary. Everyone received a note and a special leaf statue in the game. This is nice, however, it feels a bit disappointing. I think the leaf statue should have at least said 25 on it somewhere so fans would remember what it was for. Instead it's just a giant green leaf that lights up. I feel like without the note, a lot of fans wouldn't see it as anything other than a leaf. There are so many things that could've been good for the 25th anniversary of Animal Crossing. 25 years is a long time! And all fans got was a leaf and a note. Even for really important things, somehow the creators still manage to fall short. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Hopefully fans can find ways to celebrate the anniversary on their own. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! Happy 25th Anniversary Animal Crossing!

New day, new post! Since new Pokemon are often being released whenever new games come out, I think fans would like to see darker Pokemon. Pokemon fans have gotten older, and more fans like to see more mature Pokemon designs. Ones that look cooler, have darker colors, and look more mature tend to be more popular with older fans than the softer and cuter ones. Personally I like a variety of different Pokemon and I usually prefer the cuter ones, but most fans aren't like that. Because of this, I think it would be a good idea for new ghost-type, dark-type, or poison-type Pokemon to be released. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! After fully finishing the game John Doe +, I decided to come back to talk about it again. Before I only finished the original endings, now I have completed the full game. However, my opinion hasn't changed much. The last few endings are longer, but they're just as repetitive and they take ages to get. This is a bit frustrating, since the only change between them is how they end. I do like how they played out, even if they were repetitive. But I still think this game lacks content. The majority of the lore was added by the creator after the game came out, and it can't be found in the game at all. I understand the game is short, but since the creator has abandoned it a lot of newer fans won't understand anything. I suppose I'll raise my score to a 6/10, but I'm only adding one point for creativity. I'd also like to mention that my favorite ending was Ending 7: Dream Come True. It was just cute. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for a list! Recently I've been watching a few new anime series. So for today's blog post, I wanted to list three more I'd like to watch. I'm a bit tired, so it's a short list today. These are just a few of the ones I'm looking forward to watching some day. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Bungo Stray Dogs

2.) Delicious In Dungeon

3.) The Apothecary Diaries

It's post time! Since I said before I would talk about the indie games I wanted to play if I played them, today I will be talking about John Doe. First of all, I know this game can't be downloaded at this time. The creator has fully taken it down, which I'll be talking about more later. However, I managed to download John Doe +, which was lucky. John Doe + is considered the full game because it has seven endings in total; while the original only had four endings. This game still has a large fan base, which is part of why I wanted to play it. However, after playing it, it's actually a bit disappointing. The game is extremely short and repetitive. The only way to get new endings is to play through the same day over and over. The main dialogue barely changes at all, and the only change is the endings. It's hard to get them all at once because the repeating day is only about five minutes long, and there are barely any options. It's easy to get repeat endings without a guide, but with a guide this game can be finished in under an hour. It's had no new content since the plus update, and the creator has abandoned it entirely. This happens, and I'm not very surprised. But I do disagree with their decision to punish all of their fans by taking the downloads down and telling fans not to reupload or share it if they already have it. I've never seen a creator punish their loyal fans like this, and honestly I don't see why there are still fans after this. I think I would've liked the game better if the creator had handled the situation in a more mature way. But as it is, the creator is immature and the game lacks content. If you haven't had the chance to play it yourself, I recommend reading or watching someone else's playthrough. This game is a 5/10 for me, even if I like John Doe as a character. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Today is my 3,500th blog post! Well, technically yesterday was my 3,500th post, but I still wanted to mention it. Since I have talked about indie games on here a few times now, I would like to list a few I've been wanting to play. I'll only be listing three, since I think trying to list thirty five of them would be nearly impossible. If I play these games, I may review them in the future. But for now, they're just on my list because they sound interesting. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Mushroom Oasis

2.) Freak Circus

3.) John Doe

Why are animated video game adaptations usually more popular than live action ones? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! When it comes to video game adaptations, usually animated versions go over better with fans than live action ones. This usually depends on the type of game. For example, if a game looks more like an anime or cartoon, people often don't want to see it in live action. But if it already looks realistic, people don't mind it being live action. This is because many people play games because of the art style they use. I prefer the anime art style, so I would want the movies or shows based on the game to have the same art style. I don't play games with a certain art style so I can imagine what they would look like as real people, just like I don't watch anime so I can imagine what they'd look like as real people. Many other fans feel the same way, which is why they usually dismiss live action versions before they even come out. There are a few exceptions to this, but for the most part, fans prefer animation. I don't think the companies making the adaptations care about what fans prefer, but I wanted to talk about this anyways. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

3, 2, 1, post time! For a long time now, fans have been unhappy with a lot of the newer Pokemon games. They all seem repetitive at this point, and it takes way too long for mainline games to be released. So at this point, is it worth it to be a Pokemon fan? There are so many Pokemon competitors that are, in some ways, better than the actual Pokemon games. There are games with more stories, more interesting monsters, different mechanics, and they often listen to their fans. The question is, do we still like Pokemon because it's good, or just because it's nostalgic? I think if Pokemon doesn't keep up with other games, it'll just continue to lose fans. I don't want this to happen, since I do still like Pokemon. But I also hope it'll get better to keep the fans entertained. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Tuesday, April 7, 2026

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will once again be talking about Animal Crossing New Horizons. Recently I've talked about why it bothers me that villagers can't wear pants. This post will be similar to that. However, this time I'll be talking about outfits. There are outfits in the game that are full body outfits, which means they're shirts and pants together. However, when you give one to a villager, it turns into a dress when they put it on. This bothers me, because I would've loved to see villagers wear things like overalls, onesies, or suits. But instead they turn into dresses even on the boys. It honestly looks a bit silly, and it just further shows why villagers should just wear pants. I really hope they fix this in the future. I personally don't understand why it was made this way. It must've been much harder to turn outfits into dresses, especially since they had to make new designs for each one. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Monday, April 6, 2026

It's post time! One of the things that bothers me in anime is when a young character turns into an entirely different character when they grow up. There have been a lot of times when a younger teen or child character looks and acts completely different after they become an adult. Yes, people change. People grow up and mature, but they're still the same person. They should grow up gradually like people do in real life, not all at once. There's also nothing wrong with a character still looking young and not fully grown after they turn 18, since 18 year olds often still look young. Another thing that bothers me is when an adult character looks young and the creator ends up making them look completely different in future games or animations. This usually happens because fans complain about it, as if adults are not allowed to look young. I know anime isn't always realistic, but I think it has a problem with young characters and young looking characters. I know this is only going to get worse, especially since people label anyone young looking as bait; which just creates more problems for real people who look young naturally. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's Easter! That means it's Bunny Day in Animal Crossing New Horizons! However, that also means it's time for this year's special post! I was going to list some bunny Pokemon for the holiday. But when I looked into it, there aren't very many bunny Pokemon to choose from. This is surprising to me, since rabbits are actually really popular animals even in Japan. So instead, I'll only be listing two bunny Pokemon for the holiday. Enjoy! Happy Easter everyone!
