It's post time! Recently Disney created and released new light up bracelets called Illuminis. Normally I wouldn't talk about this, but they remind me a lot of Tsum Tsums. There's currently three designs, featuring Stitch, Mickey Mouse, and Baymax. They released them in their parks first, but they are available on their official website now too. They're $20 each, and they're designed to look like a cute little Disney character is laying on your wrist. The character can also be removed and carried by itself, as well. Along with this, they're battery powered. They're supposed to make it easier to keep track of your children. However, I think it would also be cute for adults. The bracelet is adjustable, and they're listed under the adults section on the official website. According to the website, the wrist strap is also made to fit adult wrists. I wanted to talk about these because I think they're very cute, and I think they would be popular with Disney anime fans. New day, new post! One of the biggest problems with Animal Crossing is the lack of individuality. This goes for both the villagers and the players. The villagers all share the same personalities, and there are barely any customization options for the players. It gets frustrating over time because you can't fix it yourself. So you just have to live with the fact that all villagers are the same, and you can't customize your character. The lack of customization options is what caused the whole catastrophe that was someone calling afro puffs space buns. They didn't even add space buns after that happened! Players wanted a specific hairstyle and they didn't give it to them even when it caused problems! Fans keep saying "maybe the next installment will be better". But honestly, why should we support a company that has shown time and time again that they don't care about us? Given how things have been going, things won't be getting any better. It's post time! When it comes to cute anime characters, it's easy to tell when they're trying to make a character look cute and innocent. You can tell by their hair, clothes, shoes, and accessories. But did you know they also use food to make a character look cuter? Characters who are supposed to be seen as cute will often be seen eating foods that add to their cuteness. Foods like cakes, strawberries, candies, pastries, pocky, and even mochi are often used for this. They also use drinks like brightly colored sodas, strawberry or chocolate milk, and juice. It just goes to show how much thought and effort goes into making a character appear a certain way. For example, a cute character will eat something like cake, and a lazy character would eat potato chips. It's a visual way for people to tell what someone is like. People subconsciously look at a cute character eating cake and think "cake is soft and sweet, so that character is too". Just like how they look at a lazy character eating potato chips and think "potato chips are casual and unhealthy, so that character is too". I wanted to talk about this because I think it's really cool how creators use things like this to make people see things a specific way. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! I was just reading an article about the new upcoming Shadow merchandise for Sonic's 35th anniversary. The merchandise shows Shadow wearing headphones, which would normally be very cool. However, the headphones aren't on his ears. This is common in both anime and cartoons. It's difficult to imagine what headphones for characters with animal ears would be like. But in this case, the majority of characters in the Sonic series are animals. Because of this, it feels strange for them to be wearing human headphones that clearly wouldn't even work for them. This would've been a good time to introduce special headphones for the Sonic characters, instead of having Shadow wear headphones for humans. Since Sonic characters are half the size of humans, it makes a lot less sense for them to wear headphones like this. There are some characters that would have ears on the side of their heads, but most of them have ears on top of their heads. It would've been interesting to see specially made headphones for these characters, but they didn't do that. I just wanted to talk about this because I thought it was strange. Why is it important for games to have ways to buy more than one item at a time? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! In videogames, it's normal and expected to be able to choose how many things you buy in a game. Nobody ever really even thinks about it, which is why it was so surprising when Animal Crossing didn't have this. I'm not going to talk about that again, because everyone already knows that's a bad thing. But why is it bad? Well, playing games is supposed to be fun. But shopping is boring. So if you have to buy things one at a time, you're not going to want to buy anything anymore. It'll make the game boring, and eventually people will lose interest. And if nobody wants to play, then there won't be any customers. No customers means no money, and no money means no new games. So leaving out one important feature can end up having a lot of bad side effects. Especially since in the age of the internet, people can review games before they buy them so they don't have to waste their time with it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! There's one main problem with the official Pokedex on the Pokemon website. This problem is, it isn't updated enough. Whenever a new Pokemon is released, the official website doesn't add information for the Pokemon for months. This makes it difficult for fans to keep up with recent releases. Other fans have to do the work themselves to keep people updated with new Pokemon releases. This is pretty lazy, it shouldn't take too much work to add a few Pokemon to the official website. Even if they release the full updated Pokedex, they don't have to do it all at once. A few Pokemon a week should be more than enough to keep people interested. Not only this, but the last time they updated the official Pokedex, several entries were glitched. I know they wait to add Pokemon to encourage fans to play the next game, but wouldn't it encourage fans more if they could see the Pokemon properly first? I just think the way they run the official Pokedex on the website is lazy at best, and it frustrates fans who want to keep up with new Pokemon releases. It's post time! This year, the Sonic series turned 35 years old. The first game was released in 1991, so this is a big anniversary; especially since the series is still going strong even now. There's a lot of games, shows, movies, and merchandise available now. Which is exciting for fans. But, why has Sonic managed to stay so popular? It's likely because most people find Sonic as children, much like with things like Pokemon. But, like Pokemon, Sega understands that people eventually grow up, so they continue to create Sonic content for both children and adults. Because of this balance, it's likely that the Sonic series will continue to gain popularity over time. Sonic is one of those things that escaped the anime and gaming community early on, which means a lot of different people like it even if they aren't gamers or otakus. As time goes on, I hope Sonic can continue to grow and evolve like it has over time. Happy anniversary Sonic!

What is a Mobian? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! The word Mobian is used to refer to the anthropomorphic animals from the Sonic series. It comes from the word Mobius, which is the name of their home planet in the comics. However, it isn't the official name for them. It's a word fans use because it's easier and more specific than just calling them animals. In the Sonic series, regular animals live alongside the anthropomorphic animals, so calling them all animals would be confusing. It's much easier to call them Mobians, and most Sonic fans will know what you're talking about when you call them this. Even if it isn't the "official" name, it's widely used throughout the Sonic fan base. I think it would be a good idea for Sega to officially adopt the name since fans already use it, but I have no idea if they actually will or not. It's post time! One of the main complaints about Animal Crossing New Horizons is that you can't interact with anything. Playing cozy games is more fun when you can place things and then interact with those things to see what they do. But in Animal Crossing, you can't do that. It's a big part of why people get bored with the game. Even the stuff you can interact with usually only have one animation and that's it. So if you interact with it once, you're done with it. You can't play on the park equipment, you can't ride the carnival rides, you can't play the arcade games, and you can't even wash your hands or take a bath. These may seem like small things, but the small things are what make games more immersive. Without these, the game gets old, fast. Should there be animations for most of the items? Honestly, yes. In most games like this, you can interact with these objects. It's fun to do even if you've already done it before. It would take more time and effort, but that's what makes a game worth playing. Obviously it's too late to add these things now, which is why it's so disappointing. Nintendo has released other games that let you interact with objects before, so not including it in this game makes it feel even more lazy. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Why did Sega remove the character ages in the Sonic series? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Sonic is one of those series where the timelines are confusing and nothing makes sense if you think about it too hard. However, the ages of the characters have never changed. But, they have. When the series started out, Knuckles and Sonic were 15, and Amy and Tails were 8. Yes, Amy was the same age as Tails. This is a big part of why Sonic didn't like her. But later in the series, they wanted to make Amy Sonic's love interest. So they made her older but kept everyone else the same age, which caused a lot of confusion. There were also a lot of time skips, but none of the characters had aged at all even though time had passed. Eventually nothing made sense anymore, especially since most people already believed Sonic and his friends were adults. So instead of trying to fix it, Sega took the easy path and just removed the information altogether. It confused a lot of fans, but really it makes sense. It was getting too confusing, and aging them up would've been a bit difficult given the timelines. It was also implied from the start that the Mobian characters were older than the ages they were given, maybe because they age differently from humans. But it was easier to just remove the ages than try to explain this. I just wanted to talk about it because some fans are still confused. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why are there so many characters in the Sonic The Hedgehog series? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! If you play some of the Sonic games that include a large amount of characters, you'll probably notice there are a few you don't recognize. If you're a casual fan, there's probably a lot of characters you don't recognize. So why is this? Well, characters aren't only introduced in the games. They're also added in the shows and comic books. So if you haven't seen these or can't access them for whatever reason, you won't know all of the characters by now. It's really hard to keep up with all of the additions too, since there's often at least a few of them introduced every year or so. This keeps things interesting, but it can make it difficult to keep up with everything. So here's my advice, if you don't want to spend hours or days consuming nothing but Sonic content but you want to know about the characters, just look around, find ones you like, and research them separately. Then you can choose from there if you want to look into the media that they're included in or not. Or you can spend ages consuming nothing but Sonic content. It's your choice. It's Raymond's birthday in Animal Crossing New Horizons! Villager birthdays are small events in this game, and you don't really have to do much for them. However, if you go to their house on their birthday, you can participate in the party by talking to the guests and giving the birthday villager a gift. For Raymond, he likes the colors black and grey, and he likes cool and elegant things. I think it also depends on his hobbies and friendship level, since I gave him a mushroom umbrella and he loved it. If you give them a gift, they'll thank you at the party, and then send you a thank you card the next day. It's post time! One of the best things about Date Everything is if you don't know all of the characters' names, a lot of them sound completely fake. It's such a fun joke, and I really like the sense of humor the developers have. I know it takes a lot of time to name so many different characters, but it's so much better that most of them have names that are puns. It must have been a lot harder to make so many pun-based names for this amount of characters. It's just a fun detail that I believe really shows just how much work was put into this game. I do hope they add more stuff like this in the future if they're planning on adding more content later. This game already has a lot of content, so I don't expect them to add more. It's post time! When I was a teenager, I used to play an app called Sonic Dash. This is an official Sonic The Hedgehog mobile game, and it's free to play. It's also called Sonic Dash Run, so don't be confused about the name. I haven't played it in years, and I didn't know it even still existed. However, today I saw it and decided to download it again. I did have to start over, but I didn't mind. Back when I used to play it, I had eventually gotten bored of it because it had barely any characters and it was pretty much only the base game. But now, there are so many new things! There's way more characters, you can compete with other players, you can build places for the animals you save during your runs, you can get rewards for your runs, you get a daily log in gift, the characters have different outfits they can wear if you unlock them, you can upgrade characters, and saving the animals actually matters now. I love all of the new events and features that have been added since the last time I played. I'm sure others who have been playing it the whole time would say a lot of this is old news. But for me, this is amazing! I used to waste hours on it before for little reward, but now I actually have reasons for playing it. I recommend this game if you like Sonic or other characters from the series. It's mostly centered around the main runs, but it is a Sonic game; so the running makes sense. It's post time! One of my least favorite parts of anime is when they make a character the designated punching bag. This is often a male character who's constantly being physically attacked. That character is usually being hit by a girl, so it's supposed to be a joke. But the problem is, a joke is supposed to be funny. I don't think I've ever found an anime fan who likes this, and it usually just makes everyone hate the girl character instead. I know that I personally hate girl characters that are so emotionally unstable that they're constantly lashing out at men, or others in general. It's really annoying and it literally makes me angry every time I have to see their faces. The most well-known example of this is Sakura from Naruto. Everyone hates her because of this "joke". It isn't because she's "weak", it's because she's a massive jerk. No one wants to be around a physically violent, annoying, emotionally unstable person regardless of their gender. I also hate when they make male characters like this, but it's more common to see a girl beating up a boy than it is to see a man beating up another man. It's also kind of sexist that it's always a man being beat up, because you'll never see a woman character being used as the designated punching bag. All in all, this is a stupid "joke" and I hope it dies. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Recently I started watching Jujutsu Kaisen. It's been popular ever since it was released, so I wanted to watch it. I actually really like this one so far. I won't really be talking about the details to avoid spoilers, but it's good. I will say a few things though. Jujutsu Kaisen is listed as an anime for teens, but I think it's more likely for adults. There's quite a bit of swearing, and sometimes there are shirtless men or women in bikinis. That isn't too unusual in anime made for men. However, there's also an insane amount of blood, gore, and body horror. When I heard it was a horror, I thought it was a psychological horror. It isn't. So if you don't like things like this, avoid this anime with everything you have. Because with the amount of blood, death, and gore in this, it's completely unavoidable. You can't even just skip past it, because a lot of the fights are important for the story. Fans of the show don't really talk about this, so I wanted to bring it up myself. It's time for another new blog post! Since it's fall now, that means the pinecones and acorns are back in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Everyone hates this season because pinecones and acorns are ridiculously hard to get. You can get a random number of acorns once everyday from Cornimer on Harv's Island, but there's nothing like this for pinecones. This is twice as frustrating because the spawn rate is insanely low for both of them. I also recommend you catch all of the wasps on your island before you start hunting for pinecones and acorns, because you'll be shaking a lot of trees. It's important to remember a pinecone or acorn can't drop if there's things already around the tree on the ground too, so remember to pick up fallen tree branches if there's no extra space. You can also repeatedly shake one tree if you don't feel like running around your whole island. I know collecting these is frustrating, but it's not impossible. New day, new post! A few days ago I talked about space buns. So for today's blog post, I'll be talking about the difference between space buns and odango. Even though space buns are popular in Japan, they don't actually have a specific name for them. Odango instead is used for all bun hairstyles. Space buns is an American term. It likely came from Princess Leia from Star Wars, even though she doesn't have space buns. Space buns are two perfectly symmetrical circular buns on the top of the head; which is not what Princess Leia has. These buns are actually from Ancient China, so they really have nothing to do with Japan or Star Wars. But if you want to call them anything, odango is more respectful and accurate. Especially since "space buns" was a term drawn from a character who does not even have space buns. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For the next 24 hours, it's Smile Day in Hello Kitty Dream Village. But what does this mean? Well, Smile Day happens on the 25th day of every month. During Smile Day, you can get five times as many hearts than usual. This means you can easily stack up hearts for the heart shop. You can also get log in bonuses. For this month, you'll get a special jacket for logging in. There isn't really very much to say about it. Smile Day only happens to help players get a lot of hearts for the heart shop. It's post time! The main problem I have with the game Date Everything is the amount of content there is in one playthrough. Not only is there way too much to do, but if you end up with any bad endings, it takes a long time to fix it. This can get really boring and eventually it feels less like playing a game and more like finishing a chore. However, you can have more than one save file. So if you're impatient like I am, you can start over. But! This only works if you don't have autosave on. If you have autosave on, you'll save right over your original save file. So don't do that. Unless you really hate your first save file for some reason. There are a lot of available save slots, so you can do as many playthroughs as you want, or you can try different branching paths instead. I recommend this if you're feeling trapped in a playthrough, or if you're getting bored of it. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's more likely they were made in China. However, they've become very popular in Japan, especially in anime and cute culture. In Japan, they're not called space buns. The term "space buns" came from America, and was likely named that way because of Star Wars. But in Japan, they're called odango, which is closer to being called a dumpling. This is because the buns resemble dumplings. It can really refer to any bun hairstyle in Japan. But in this context, it's usually referring to the two symmetrical buns on top of the head. They're considered very cute, so they've become popular in anime. This means they're popular in the anime community, too. It's a self care app that doubles as a dating sim, and it's to help encourage users to take care of themselves. It's early access right now, but I was interested in trying it anyways. It's post time! If you watch the English dub of some anime series, you'll notice that the theme song and end song are also in English. This was common in anime for children, but some more mature anime series also did it. However, recently this isn't as common, and it rarely ever happens now. I'm sure this is because it costs money to make English versions of the songs. But personally, I think more people would be interested if there were English versions of the songs. Of course I mean an English translation of the original song, I don't think two dubs of the same anime should have two different songs. But I do think making English versions of the songs would draw in more people from outside of the anime community. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Fragaria Memories is finally getting a game! The game will be called Fragaria Memories: Color Of Wishes. However, it won't be available until fall of next year. Fans have been waiting for this game for a long time now, so it's disappointing to know it still won't be out for a whole year. Some fans have already been complaining about the long wait time, as well. Fragaria Memories has actually become pretty popular already without the game's release, and other Sanrio games like Hello Kitty Dream Village have included items for it. It's still exciting to know the game is almost finished, even if we have to wait another year for it. I've been looking forward to it since they said they were planning a game a few years ago. I do hope it will be available in English when it's released, since there hasn't been any word one way or another about the possibility of an English release of the game. The official announcement does mention a worldwide release though, so I'm assuming this means it'll be released with an English version. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Recently there's been a few new games that use an art style similar to Studio Ghibli movies. A lot of people are inspired by Studio Ghibli, and using a similar art style can help something feel familiar and cozy. However, it's important to remember this only works if something is done well. If you just use the art style and don't add enough care to the story or world building, it really only shows you can draw well and that's it. I haven't seen any examples of this yet, so far it seems like games that use an art style similar to Studio Ghibli are well made. But I still wanted to talk about this, because there's a good chance lazy creators will use this art style for cheap cash grabs. A lot of work is put into Studio Ghibli movies, and they're so popular that using the art style automatically draws fans in. So remember, a game or animation is more than just its art style, even if it looks nice. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. 3, 2, 1, post time! When the game Date Everything first came out, I made a post saying it was too much money for an indie game, because it costs almost thirty dollars. I said it wasn't worth it because it was a visual novel, and because there were a lot of complaints about it. But now, over a year later, I have to take it back. I think this game is more than worth the price. It is a visual novel, but it's also a free roam game. It has hours upon hours of content to sift through, too. Not only this, but for the first anniversary this year, the creators added new content and fixed all of the biggest complaints players and fans had. I can see now that I was wrong, I was unfairly dismissing it without giving it a chance. The creators clearly care about their fans, and I can tell they put a lot of work into making this game. I can admit when I'm wrong, so I am admitting it. I recommend this game for people who like things like this, especially since you can choose your relationship with all of the characters. It doesn't even have to be a dating sim. But please remember that this game is for adults who are eighteen and older, and it was made with adults in mind. It's post time! Recently the Sanrio character USAHANA was added to Hello Kitty Dream Village. This addition comes not long after I made a post saying they likely won't add any more characters. I suppose developers just like proving me wrong, because USAHANA was added as a full character. This means she can now be chosen as a buddy, interacted with, you can do favors for her, and an USAHANA Basic Style gacha was added as well. This also means there's a good chance they may add more in the future, which would be fun to see. Based on the items available in the game, I think it's likely they'll add someone like Chococat next, since Chococat has a lot of items in the game even though he isn't part of the game right now. Chococat is a pretty popular Sanrio character, and he's often included in merchandise and collaborations, so it would make sense. That's just a guess, though. The anime may end, and the manga may be over, but they still make OVAs, movies, and games for it. Why is this? Well, mostly because it makes money. This is good for fans, since it means they never really have to stop being a fan. It can get overwhelming, but it's also a positive thing. As long as the content is made with real care, it can keep fans happy for years to come. This is why new merchandise, animations, and games are made even years after the original series has ended. It's post time! When it comes to cozy games, one of the most popular ones is Animal Crossing New Horizons. However, I've been enjoying the game Hello Kitty Dream Village recently. It has a lot of things Animal Crossing New Horizons is missing. You can interact with the furniture, visit other players, play with the plushies, use shelves, plushies can be placed on beds, tables, couches, and chairs, and they can be interacted with after they're placed. Hello Kitty Dream Village also has a lot of customization options for your character. There's always new clothes, hairstyles, and face options. It is a bit disappointing that the colors for some hairstyles and eyes can't be changed, but there are so many to choose from that you can just use a different similar one instead. I was really surprised with how many things Hello Kitty Dream Village has that Animal Crossing doesn't. I think if the creators of Animal Crossing took some inspiration from similar games, they could keep up with the other games that have been released over the years. It's post time! Recently I've seen people calling Rilakkuma a Sanrio character. So for today's blog post, I'd like to talk about it. Rilakkuma isn't a Sanrio character. Instead, he's from a similar company called San-X. San-X also makes cute mascot characters, but they're not the same company. I know this can be confusing for casual fans, which is why I wanted to clear this up. It's easy to mix up Sanrio characters and San-X characters, but they're not the same. So I'm going to clear this up. These are all clickbait. The "redesign" is almost always just a new color or a new outfit. This isn't what a redesign is. A redesign is when something gets a new design, like a new art style or a slightly different appearance. If a new color was considered a redesign, then every shiny Pokemon would be a redesign. If putting a hat on or changing clothes was a redesign, then Team Rocket would be getting a new redesign almost every time they appeared. Calling a new color or outfit a "redesign" is stupid and uninformed. So if you see an article with a title like this, just ignore it. They just want your clicks. It's post time! Ever since the hotel was added in Animal Crossing New Horizons, there have been tourists coming to the islands. This isn't optional. However, it gets worse. Occasionally if you have an open room available, you'll encounter a tourist on your island who forgot to reserve a room. You can then take them to the hotel and pick a room for them. This wouldn't be so bad, but the problem is, only the island representative can help these villagers. That means if you share an island with someone else and aren't the island representative, you can't do anything. So if the player in charge of the island doesn't want to deal with this tourist, you get to watch a thinking villager you don't know wander around and talk to themself while they constantly get in the way, and you can't do anything about it. This is maybe the dumbest addition to the game I've seen so far. There's no reason to make it so only one player can help a tourist like this. It's a stupid rule and honestly I hate it. Other players also hate it. Why does only one player get to take care of this tourist? It's annoying. New day, new post! One of the biggest complaints about Fate/Grand Order is that there aren't enough men. However, this complaint stems from the fact that the creators will do anything in their power to turn characters who should be men into women. The characters in Fate/Grand Order are based on real myths, legends, gods, and people. So to have them so disrespectfully turned into something they aren't is an insult to the different cultures they borrow from. It's so easy to find real women to use instead, but they don't. Along with this, they have never once taken a woman and made her into a man. Never. Because of this, players have come to the conclusion that the creators hate men. This is a bold claim, but I can't help but agree. They really do act like they hate men. Some may argue that there are good male characters, but compare this small amount of good male characters to the others. Compare it to the ones that were turned into women, or who are villains, or who are made fun of and degraded. Compare it to all of the male characters that are treated like jokes. You'll see a concerning pattern. They haven't gotten better, either. The Fate series has been around for a very long time and they've always done this. I think it's very disrespectful to men, and to the real people they're doing this to. It doesn't matter if these people are dead or not, they still have legacies, and families, and picking men from a long time ago will never change this fact. It's post time! As games push away female players and try to appeal more to male players, I find myself enjoying games less and less. It's hard to like something that isn't made for you. However, today I had the same problem with the game Touhou LostWord. The only difference is, this game is supposed to be for women. The main character is referred to as a girl and is frequently called she. But if you play the game, it feels like it was made for men. There are only girl characters and no boys, but there's still an overwhelming amount of fan service in the gacha banners and even the character designs. Using female pronouns for the main character chases men away, but making all of the characters exclusively girls with too much fan service chases most women away. Don't get me wrong, I understand who this game was made for. I just don't understand why. Realistically the target audience for this game is so small that I genuinely don't see why it's like this. There's also been players complaining about the lack of male characters, which makes this even more confusing. Women can and will play games with only girl characters, they do it all the time. But making those characters look inappropriate will just chase most of the fans away. Especially since it's obvious they don't want men to play it. This is the first time I've played a game like this and it confuses me to no end. It also makes me very uncomfortable and I don't really want to play it. I was interested in Touhou because I've heard good things about it, but this game is quickly killing my interest. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be once again talking about the insane pity system in Fate/Grand Order. I don't think I've really made enough of a point of how crazy this is, so I'm going to explain it more clearly. If you're trying to get a character, you may end up having to hit max pity. Max pity takes 330 pulls, which is 30 ten pulls, because every ten pulls gets you a guaranteed extra pull; meaning a total of 11. This would take 900 Saint Quartz, and there is no 50/50. It's only max pity. 900 Saint Quartz doesn't seem like too much, right? For newer players, it's manageable if you really work hard enough. But for players who are all caught up on everything, it would take roughly 3 to 12 months to earn this many, depending on what events are running. That's right, it could take a full year to get one character. Or it could take a quarter of a year, or half of a year. This is an insanely long time! Along with this, if you don't get the character the first time, all of your Saint Quartz are wasted. It doesn't carry over to the next time. So good luck trying to get the character next time instead. Even knowing the banner schedule doesn't help, since sometimes they'll change the schedule and add surprise banners for certain events or milestones. This is why I hate this pity system. I'm very far behind, so I could reasonably get the Saint Quartz needed to get a character if I really wanted to. But it takes so much work that it's easy to get overwhelmed and burned out in the short time that the banners are open for. A lot of fans have complained about this for years, but nothing ever changes. It's always the same. I wanted to talk about this again to really show why this is such an issue in this game. It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Ditto's face in Pokemon. In Pokemon games and merchandise, it's common to see Ditto fully transformed except for its face. However, Pokemon fans hate this. Why is this? Well, it's because not all Ditto are like this. According to the lore, well trained Ditto can fully transform. They can perfectly copy anything, which is why it's called a Ditto. There was only one Ditto in the Pokemon anime that couldn't transform correctly. It could copy anything, but it couldn't change its face. This was a one off problem, which many people see as a disability. Because of this, it feels very wrong and cheap to turn one disabled Ditto into a joke. I know it makes it easy to tell what is and isn't a Ditto, but it's wrong. It isn't accurate, and it's making light of a Pokemon that faced a lot of challenges in the episode it was in. Casual fans may say "it's just a Pokemon, who cares". But the problem is the real world problem of disabilities being treated like a joke. That's why people don't like this. It makes people uncomfortable, and there are quite a few fans who don't like Ditto being used in this way. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time for another new blog post! I've talked about the horrible gacha rates in Fate/Grand Order before, but since they have a lot of banners open right now, I wanted to talk about it again. These rates are the worst I have ever seen. If you don't get the character in the first few pulls, you could spend hours trying to get them. This is because the max pity for a guaranteed drop is almost 400 pulls. Four hundred! And each eleven pull costs 30 Saint Quartz. That's so much work. It costs hundreds of dollars to buy this many, and months of progress to earn this many if you're a free player. Not only this, but the pulls you do don't carry over to the next banner even if you don't get the character. So you could potentially waste hundreds of Saint Quartz and still not get the character you want. I've been having this problem with Oberon for years now, no matter how many Saint Quartz I dump on this guy. Fans have been complaining about this for years, and the creators just refuse to fix it. Occasionally they will give away a free five star character like they're doing right now, but they're standard characters. They're never special characters. This is so frustrating for so many players, and I can see why fans often take breaks for months on end to avoid getting burn out. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. With ghost-type Pokemon, it seems like The Pokemon Company is focusing on making them look unique and creative, instead of making them look like ghosts. Some of them look like ghosts, but most of them don't. Because of this, I think it would be fun to see ghost-type Pokemon that looked more like ghosts. Recent ghost-type Pokemon especially look a lot less like ghosts, and more like regular Pokemon that had the typing slapped on afterwards. Not all of the recent ones are like this, of course. I just feel like ghost Pokemon should look like ghosts. Otherwise, what are they? Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time to post! Recently popular AI chat bot platforms like Janitor AI and Character AI have been adding lorebooks. But what are lorebooks? Lorebooks are a way to add more detail to characters, including more details about the character, the world they live in, and other characters they're associated with. It makes chatting with the character more immersive, and even makes it easier to make multi character bots. This is because the base bot will have all of the knowledge for the whole world and all major and even minor characters, depending on how well the lorebook is written. This is actually a really helpful addition, since before it was nearly impossible to make multi character bots. Mentioning other characters from the same world to a bot was useless too, because it just didn't know what you were talking about. Now, instead of only knowing about the base details and a couple of important characters, the bots can be programmed to know all of the details and all of the characters. I wanted to talk about this because some people were confused, but I also wanted to talk about it because I think it's a big step in the right direction. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the problem with the Freecycle Shop in Hello Kitty Dream Village. For those of you who don't know, the Freecycle Shop is a shop run by Tuxedosam, and you can either get free items from other players, or donate your own items. You can't get back your own items, and you get a certain number of pulls each day. But, this is a good way to get limited event items from other players. The problem is, almost no one actually donates to it. You don't get anything for donating, and you can also recycle your extra items normally to get different items for it. Because of this, not many players see the point in donating to the Freecycle Shop instead. They don't really care about the fact that it could go to other players, they just want to get rid of things. It's been days since I've been able to get anything from the Freecycle Shop, regardless of when I play. It must be so frustrating for other new players, or even players that have been playing for a while. It's like having a gacha that's always empty. Why do Sanrio fans want more merchandise for lesser known characters? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Sanrio has a lot of different characters now, which means they have a Pokemon problem. The Pokemon problem is, there are so many to choose from that every Pokemon is someone's favorite Pokemon. Pokemon solves this by making merchandise for every single Pokemon. Is it a lot? Yes. Does it work? Also yes. But Sanrio doesn't do this. They only focus on making merchandise for their most popular characters because they make money. They'll occasionally make things like Sanrio Boys and Fragaria Memories to bring more people in, but those series also focus on the more popular characters. Not many people watch the animations, which is why characters like Lloromannic go unnoticed for so long. They were made for a show and didn't get much merchandise afterwards. However, this is also why it was such a surprise for Berry and Cherry to be chosen for the Build-A-Bear Halloween line this year. The game Hello Kitty Dream Village does a better job of including lesser known characters, but it doesn't have as much of a fan base right now. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about eyebrows in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Now, this may seem like a silly topic. But if you've played this game, you've probably noticed there are no eyebrows. Despite this, some players have eyebrows. This is because they made them with the custom face paint. This is very clever, but it does mean you can't put anything else on your face as long as you have eyebrows. Which seems very silly to me. The face paint is also very oddly limited, so you can't put the eyebrows close enough to the eyes. It takes a bit of trial and error to get them just right. Along with this, certain eyebrow shapes look weird because of the limitations. For example, I was making cute anime style angry eyebrows for my character, but they look strange unless I give my character glasses. Otherwise the eyebrows sit too high up on the face and they look wrong. I'm sure many other players have had this issue, and I wish the face paint wasn't so limited. I can't even give my character dark shadows under the eyes, even though I almost always give my characters that in everything else. Even Hello Kitty Dream Village has options for dark circles under the eyes, which you can get from certain events, and that game is very bright and colorful. It just shows you how much Animal Crossing New Horizons is missing even now. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Berry and Cherry have arrived at Build-A-Bear! That's right, the troublemaking Sanrio duo Lloromannic are now plushies! I'm very excited to see this, since I just recently talked about how I believe they deserve more merchandise. They've been released for Halloween, along with a special Cinnamoroll Halloween plush. They're all pretty expensive with clothes, but you can also buy each plush without the clothes. With clothes, the plushies are $52.50 each. Without clothes, they're $38 each. Either way, it would cost quite a lot to get all three plushies, or even just getting Berry and Cherry would be a lot. However, this is normal for Build-A-Bear, and I still consider this a win for these underrated characters. Will Hello Kitty Dream Village ever add more Sanrio characters? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, there's only a small amount of Sanrio characters in Hello Kitty Dream Village. These characters can be your buddy, or you can do quests for them. Despite this, there aren't very many to choose from. However, you can get items, furniture, and clothes that show other Sanrio characters. There's even a Fragaria Memories gacha available right now, and there have been other gacha banners and events that are for other characters that aren't in the game in the past. But, I don't think this means they'll ever add another buddy character. It would just take too much work. It's easy to have other Sanrio characters appear on items and clothes, but it's way more difficult to add them as full characters. I understand why this is, even if players would rather have more characters. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why did the Pokemon anime use Team Rocket as the antagonists so often? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! In the original anime, Team Rocket was always the main villains. But in the games, there were a lot of different antagonists. The anime followed the games when it came to locations and traveling companions, but they kept the same protagonists and antagonists. Why is this? Well, mostly because they were popular and recognizable. The anime felt familiar as long as there were still main characters fans could recognize. This meant they could go for a long time without watching the show without feeling like they missed anything. Along with this, Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket were pretty much the whole show. People who watched it usually watched it to see them. Since the show has moved on from them, there are less people watching it. This isn't a coincidence, it's because people who grew up with the anime wanted it to stay the same. It was comforting, even if other things changed. So even if there were other characters and other antagonists, at the center of it, everything was always the same. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! Many Sanrio fans give up playing Hello Kitty Dream Village because it's hard to get coins and gacha tickets to play the gacha. I can understand why this would be frustrating, so for today's blog post I'd like to talk about how to get them. Firstly, coins can come from doing favors for characters, logging in everyday, throwing parties, and attending parties. But wait! Parties take three hours and cost fruit! No problem! You can attend multiple parties and throw your own party all at the same time; and you can even leave the parties to do other tasks or close the game entirely. Along with this, you can harvest fruit from your neighbors if your flowers haven't bloomed yet. You can also sometimes get fruit from completing tasks, but visiting neighbors is much easier and more reliable. You can get gacha tickets from completing tasks and playing the Dream Boutique mini game, too. There are actually a lot of ways to get coins and gacha tickets, so don't give up so easily! Coins can also be used to buy things from the My Character Shop if you're against the gacha system. However, it costs a lot more, and there aren't as many options. Regardless of what you're interested in, it isn't as difficult to get clothes and items as a lot of people make it sound. It just takes a bit of work. In this game you can decorate your room, customize your character, meet other players, play mini games, throw parties, and do favors for the Sanrio characters. You don't start out with very many clothes, items, hairstyles, or eye shapes. But, you can get more from the gacha. You can even get boy clothes, faces, and hairstyles; so anyone can play. Along with this, there are a lot of different fashion styles to choose from. There are multiple different gacha banners too, and they usually run for a few weeks or even a couple months. You can earn gacha tickets and coins from completing quests, doing favors, and throwing parties. Throwing parties costs fruit, which you can get from doing favors or growing it yourself. I actually really like this game, even though I've seen other people complain about it. You only have to check in every so often, so you don't have to feel pressured to play it. But if you play everyday, you get bonuses for it. I recommend playing this game if you like Sanrio, cute things, and cozy games. What time is it? Post time! I may be a week late, but recently McDonald's launched a Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meal toy line. There are eight characters in this collaboration, and the toys are plastic; not plush. The Sanrio characters are wearing the Godzilla Kaiju as costumes, too. They're pretty cute, and Sanrio fans are already working on collecting the whole set. But, that's to be expected with Sanrio fans. If you're just a casual fan who is interested in this collaboration, I would recommend buying one before the other fans get them all. I don't have very much to say about this collaboration since I don't have any of the toys myself, but I wanted to talk about it for anyone who may not have known about it. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Sanrio rivals. When someone thinks of a Sanrio rival, they automatically think of Kuromi. Kuromi is officially the rival of My Melody. This is why they're often seen together. However, Kuromi ended up becoming popular enough on her own that many people forget this. Since they're both white bunnies, they're often used together in merchandise. But did you know there's another set of rivals? Berry and Cherry, also known as Lloromannic, are the official rivals of Cinnamoroll. Not only this, but there are two of them instead of one. Unlike Kuromi, Berry and Cherry are real demons. But their designs still match well with Cinnamoroll. Which is why it's surprising to see that they're total flops. Hardly anyone knows about Berry and Cherry, and they don't get merchandise with their rival Cinnamoroll. It would be fun to see merchandise with Cinnamoroll and Lloromannic like we get with Kuromi and My Melody, but it looks like Sanrio would rather bury them. I'm not really sure why, since they have nice designs. I think they would have more fans if they were marketed more, as well. The reason Kuromi became so popular is because there are Sanrio fans who do like darker themed characters, so I believe burying Lloromannic instead of using them is a big missed opportunity. They were also released just two years after Kuromi, so I think they would do well if given the chance. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about how to catch wasps in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Wasps are a dangerous bug in this game. But unlike scorpions and tarantulas, wasps do not have an easy way to catch them. Instead, they just charge your character automatically. So how do you catch them? Well, it's a bit more complicated. You have to shake the tree with your net ready, then run away enough to create a small gap between your character and the wasps. After that, you turn to face the wasps and swing your net. This means you have to keep your trees in an open place, but only the trees that don't have fruit on them. There are only five wasps everyday, as well. If you catch all five of them in a row, you'll get a Nook Miles achievement for it. Once you get the hang of it, it'll become really easy to catch wasps! Wasps sell for 2,500 bells each at Nook's Cranny, or 3,750 bells each when sold to Flick. So they're also a good way to earn some extra bells! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

But with more Pokemon always being made, I'd like to see some from other parts of the world. There are so many to choose from, which means there's a lot of potential! For example, a Pokemon based on a selkie could start out as a seal and evolve into something more human-like. There are a lot of other examples of this, but that's all I'll say for today. It's post time! I love talking about lesser known Sanrio characters, because they always get overshadowed by the popular ones. So for today's blog post, I will be talking about Lloromannic. This is actually two characters, and their name is Cinnamoroll spelled backwards. Along with this, they were released in 2007. Their names are Cherry and Berry, and they're two little demons. Berry is a dark gray demon boy, and Cherry is a pink demon girl. They're rivals of Cinnamoroll, too. Although they're always together, they're not twins. Instead, they're best friends. They love making mischief and playing pranks, as well. They live in a mysterious mirror world on the outskirts of Sucre Town, and the mirror is hidden inside of a haunted house. They aren't very well known, but I think these two are very cute. I'd love to see them get more attention in the future. New day, new post! Since a new Pokemon game is on the way, fans are once again asking for a new Eevee evolution. It's been a long time since the last one, so fans are getting impatient. Some fans think this would be a good opportunity to introduce the scrapped flying-type Eevee evolution that was talked about before. However, that Eevee evolution was scrapped because it was too similar to a fan-made Pokemon. There are way, way, too many fan-made Eevee evolutions out there, and every time a new one comes out, that's one less design for an official Pokemon. Fans know this but they just won't stop making them. This is why it's so unlikely that there will be a new Eevee evolution. Fans can only hope that one day The Pokemon Company will be able to find a design that hasn't been used yet. But at the moment, there's no chance. Especially since if they do accidentally release one that's similar to a fan-made Pokemon, then fans will throw a fit like they always do. All I can say is, if you want to see a new Eevee evolution, stop making fan designs. Otherwise, accept the fact that you and everyone else are making it impossible to get a new Eevee evolution. It's post time! Recently Sony announced a new mascot character called Nemu The Night Owl. Nemu is a bear who's always tired because he can't sleep. He's sensitive, anxious, and stays awake all night because he worries too much. A lot of people are already saying Nemu was created to compete with Hello Kitty, but really characters like this have always been popular in Japan. It's more likely Sony just wanted to be part of it. There are already a lot of plans for this new character, and I think he's really very cute. I don't think there's anything wrong with Sony making cute characters like this, as long as it's done well. I know a lot of people are already dismissing Nemu's entire existence as a cheap rip-off cash grab, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this new character. Is Hello Kitty a girl or a cat? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! This has been a long debated question for Sanrio fans for literally years now, even though the answer is very simple. But before I answer this question, let me explain the situation. Years ago, the American representative for the Sanrio company started telling people in interviews that Hello Kitty is actually a little girl. Fans were rightfully very confused and angry about this, but these claims just kept coming. However, this was all just a big misunderstanding. Hello Kitty is a cat. The idea that she's "a little girl" comes from a mistranslation of the statement calling Hello Kitty a little British girl. That description is to simply tell fans that she's a young girl from London, not that she's a human. Never has the Japanese company ever said that she's a human girl. She's a young girl, not a young human girl. She and her family are all cats. That's all. I don't understand how this got so out of hand when it's very obvious she's a cat. Believing otherwise because somebody who had no hand in creating her said so is honestly just pretty dumb. She's a cat, her sister is a cat, her parents are cats, and her pet cat is a different type of cat. It's even been confirmed what breed of cat Hello Kitty is. She's a Japanese Bobtail. So if anyone tells you she's a little human girl in a costume, tell them to be quiet. I'm so tired of this misinformation being spread around as facts. It's time to post! There are some anime protagonists that are more well-known than the anime themselves. They're usually almost exclusively shonen anime, and the most obvious ones that come to mind are Naruto and Goku. Although this helps people outside of the anime community discover anime, it also causes problems within the anime community. It makes fans say things like "this is good, but it's not as good as this other popular anime", and it makes it difficult for new anime to take off. The most well-known example of this was My Hero Academia. Although it did end up becoming popular, when it first came out it was completely dismissed by anime fans. They called it "Green Naruto" and accused it of being a direct rip-off. People who actually watched the show would know it's nothing like Naruto. But anyone who tried to say this were completely drowned out by the people who were dismissing it. I'm glad to see it managed to overcome this, but not all anime are so lucky. Sometimes genuinely good anime are stomped out of existence before they even get a chance just because it resembles a different more popular anime. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this to bring attention to what a problem it's become in recent years. There have been a few flops, but things like Kingdom Hearts, Tsum Tsums, and Twisted Wonderland have all become very popular within the Disney and anime communities. Things like this would have to be made in the Japanese branch of Disney, but I think many fans would love to see this. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about wasps in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Wasps are supposed to spawn five times guaranteed on your island everyday unless you don't have enough plain trees, since they only spawn in hardwood or cedar trees. Despite this, I've never had five wasps spawn in one day, even after shaking every plain tree on the island. Sometimes I only have them spawn while I'm gathering wood, even after I've already shaken the tree. Because of this, I find them to be complete nuisances, just like real wasps. I never have enough time to catch them, because you can only catch them if you're already holding a net when the wasp nest falls. If I shake a tree and nothing falls out, I'm obviously not going to be holding a net if I shake the tree a second time. Other Animal Crossing fans swear this doesn't happen, and that the nest falls out of the tree on the first shake every time. But it's just happened to me three times already today, so that's a lie. I wish there was some way to know if a tree had a wasp nest in it already, because right now it's a gamble and I'm always on the losing end. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! One of the most popular animals these days is the axolotl, which is why it's surprising that there isn't really a Pokemon for it. Yes, of course, there's Wooper; and some people think Mudkip might've been based on an axolotl. But nobody knows if Mudkip is an axolotl, and the only thing that makes Wooper an axolotl is what's on its head. These aren't really axolotls, they're just loosely based on them. I'd like to see an actual axolotl Pokemon someday, not something loosely based on one. There's a lot of potential for a Pokemon like this, and I think fans would love it. There's no reason we couldn't get another axolotl Pokemon either, since a lot of other Pokemon are different versions of the same animal. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time for another new blog post! Today I had the opportunity to try the Witch's Brew Alani Nu energy drink, which is one of the flavors I talked about in yesterday's blog post. It's supposed to be caramel green apple, but I don't taste the caramel at all. It's entirely green apple. Still, I think this is a very good flavor for Halloween. The drink itself is clear, so the color doesn't really matter. But after trying it, I still think it would fit well in Twisted Wonderland. It feels like something Idia Shroud or Lilia Vanrouge would drink. Even though I couldn't imagine Lilia on caffeine, it sounds like a nightmare. Regardless, I think this one would be good for a Disney or Twisted Wonderland theme. I really like the art on the can this year, even if the drink itself is very tart. It's post time! Recently the energy drink brand Alani Nu released their Halloween flavors for this year. There's three flavors this year, Witch's Brew, Ruby Apple, and Voodoo Vanilla. Now, usually I wouldn't talk about this on this blog even if I was interested in it personally. But the art on this year's cans look just like something from Twisted Wonderland. It reminded me of Twisted Wonderland as soon as I saw it, so I wanted to talk about it on my blog today. The flavors are caramel green apple, caramel red apple, and whipped cream with marshmallow vanilla. I'm not sure where to get them, or how much they cost. I just wanted to talk about it because I thought the art on the cans looked like something from Twisted Wonderland. I've tried this energy drink brand before, and I liked it, so I recommend it for anyone who likes energy drinks. However, I haven't tried these flavors yet because they were just released. If you're interested in trying these flavors, remember that energy drinks are intended for people who are 18 and older, who have no major heart or other major health conditions, and aren't pregnant. Yes, some anime fans are like this, and I can understand why they make gamer characters like this since it's common in that community. Maybe it's because anime and videogames cross over frequently, so anime fans and gamers are seen as the same thing. It's hard to tell. I just wanted to talk about this because a lot of people think anime fans are really unhealthy and gross, but so many people are fans of anime these days that there's no way everyone can be like this. It's post time! For today's blog post, I'd like to talk about the Game Boy. Game Boys are still popular today, and they were the first console for many gamers. The original Game Boy was released in 1989, and they were handheld consoles with pixel graphics and a black and white screen. Along with this, they were created by Nintendo. As their popularity grew, Nintendo wanted to improve the console. So they created the Game Boy Color. It was the same graphics, but now in color. The Game Boy Color became popular because of games like Pokemon and Kirby. Many people started gaming with a Game Boy Color, and almost no one actually talks about the original Game Boy these days. Game Boy consoles stopped being created a long time ago, so a lot of individual people and companies have recreated them for fans. This is one of the most common consoles that people still talk about to this day, so I'm sure even people who have never used a Game Boy before at least know what they are. It's post time! A while ago, I posted my 3,600th blog post. However, I never thought of what to do for the milestone this time. So, today I'll be talking about the 36th Pokemon, and the 360th Pokemon; according to the official Pokedex on the Pokemon website. This one is pretty interesting, because the 36th Pokemon is Clefable and the 360th Pokemon is Wynaut. These two really couldn't be more different! Wynaut is a baby Pokemon, and Clefable is a final evolution. Wynaut is blue, Clefable is pink. Wynaut is a psychic-type, Clefable is a fairy-type. I suppose these two Pokemon just show how different Pokemon can be from each other. Although they are both still cute. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Is Disney anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Obviously it's easy to say Disney isn't related to anime in any way. However, because Disney has a Japanese branch, this means some things made by Disney are anime. Things like Tsum Tsums, Twisted Wonderland, Kingdom Hearts, and other obvious things are accepted into the anime fandom. This is because they're not made in America. Instead, they're created by the Japanese branch of the Disney company. They're created in Japan, and they're considered anime because of that fact. They may use Disney characters, but they're used or changed in a way that makes them unique. There are a lot of anime fans who also like Disney things, so this works out well for everyone. I wanted to talk about this for anyone who may be confused about why Disney is popular even in the anime community. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Although crafting is easier than ever in Animal Crossing New Horizons, there's still a lot of other things that need work. Firstly, gathering the materials is incredibly tedious. It's boring, it takes too much time, and it takes even longer because the tools break. Then you have to either buy new tools, or make new tools. but to make tools, you need crafting materials, so the cycle continues endlessly. Along with this, you still can't buy multiple items at once. No, buying in bulk doesn't count. Every other game gives you a slider so you can choose how many items you can buy. But Animal Crossing hates you. No slider bar for you. It's so frustrating, and I wish they would just fix these things. But they refuse to fix these things, and I don't know why. They refuse to give people basic game mechanics and they expect us to just accept it. I don't think even the next game will be better because honestly Nintendo just doesn't care about what you want. It's time to post! Recently Pokemon fans have been saying the phrase "every Pokemon is someone's favorite". But nobody has said what this means, they just assume other people will know what they mean. So for anyone who may be confused, I'll be explaining it today. There are over a thousand Pokemon now, but there are a lot more Pokemon fans. This means every Pokemon will be loved by someone. Of course you usually see the most common Pokemon, like Pikachu or Eevee. But if you ask a large group of Pokemon fans who their favorite Pokemon is, you'll almost always get a different answer from everyone. For example, I like all of the Eevee evolutions, but my favorite Pokemon is Umbreon. Umbreon may be a popular Pokemon, but it's still not as popular as other Pokemon. I also like the less popular Pokemon Pumpkaboo. There are just so many Pokemon to choose from that everyone has someone they like. That's why Pokemon fans say "every Pokemon is someone's favorite". It's post time! Recently the Status AI app has been getting a much needed update. Some people who use the app are now getting five free daily energy points, which refills at midnight every night. Eventually everyone will get this, but at the moment it's just random. As it happens, I was one of the ones randomly chosen a few days ago. So, I'd like to talk about it. Firstly, I really like the amount that we're getting at the moment even if it's only five. It's enough to keep the daily streak alive, at least. But along with this, I've been getting more free bonus energy through ads too. I think it may be part of the update, but I can't be sure. However, using energy uses your daily energy first, which means you can build up your bonus energy without touching it.  I like the way this was done, since it means you can use up your daily energy to prevent any wasted points. This app still isn't perfect, but this is a big step in the right direction! Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the upcoming game The Witch's Bakery. This game has been delayed until October 14th, but many people are still looking forward to it. It's going to be a cozy game where you manage a magic bakery during the day, and build relationships and explore the town after the bakery closes each day. Then at night, you'll be able to improve your skills. You'll play as a witch named Lunne in the city of Paris, and each day you'll be able to make baked goods that can help heal the hearts of the customers. Even though the game was made by a French company, the art style is very similar to anime; and a lot of people say it reminds them of Studio Ghibli. Even though the game has been delayed, I'm also looking forward to its release in two months. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Those who watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga will be familiar with the Japanese school uniforms. They're typically the sailor style serafuku for girls, and the military style gakuran for boys. Although it's common to see real Japanese students wear uniforms in both public and private schools, these days the uniforms are different from school to school. They could have different colors, or different styles entirely. Despite this, these traditional uniforms are still the ones seen in media. They're the most easily recognizable, and if you see a character wearing a school uniform, you can automatically tell they're a student. This is why these uniforms are still used in anime and manga. It's post time! Yesterday I talked about the Status app for people who didn't know about it, but I didn't get to talk very much about why fans have been turning against it. So, I'd like to explain today. Firstly, this app used to be ad-free, and subscriptions didn't exist. It was completely free to play. Originally this app gave you fifty or more free energy every day. It reset every night at midnight. The developers said the energy system was temporary until the app started earning them money; and that eventually the app would be unlimited for everyone. However, instead, the energy system became permanent; and the daily energy dropped all the way down to five free energy a day. Fans were rightfully angry about this, but the developers defended this choice by saying AI costs too much. However, it gets worse. They eventually added ads to help cover the costs. But even though they were making more money than ever, they fully removed the free daily energy for all new users. They added the ability to watch ads for energy, but it hardly ever works. Despite this, the ads that don't reward you still load in correctly. The addition of ads and pop-ups have also made the app extremely laggy. They are currently working on giving free daily energy to random accounts until everyone has it, but it will still only be five a day. So in conclusion, a feature that was supposed to be temporary has now made the app completely unusable. This is why the app is losing so many users so quickly, and why so many people are angry about it. I do hope this is fixed in the future, because this app has so much potential. But as of right now, it's not worth the effort. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Anime fans, and fans of a lot of other things, may be interested in an app called Status. This app uses AI to create a virtual social media experience similar to the original Twitter. You can make posts and message characters, and it is amazingly fun. However, I'm here to tell you, don't bother! You need energy for every little thing you do. There is no free daily energy, there's no way to refill it, and the ads you can watch to get energy hardly ever even load. The ads to get energy are almost never available, but you can be sure the ads that don't reward you will still work to interrupt everything you do. The app runs slower than a snail because it's always loading in pop ups and ads. It absolutely sucks and no one wants to play it anymore. This actually makes me sad, because it is really fun when you can play it. But unless you pay for it, it's unplayable. Pretty much everyone who does play it say this is because the creators are extremely greedy and money hungry; and honestly I can believe it after using it myself. I hope this gets fixed in the future, but as of right now, it's a 3/10. Completely unplayable. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of the most frustrating things about collecting crafting materials in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I know a lot of fans would say it's the tools, because the tools break. But for me personally, it's the rocks. To collect materials from rocks, you have to hit them with a shovel or an axe. But every time you hit it, it knocks you back. If you get too far away from it, you can't collect more items. So you have to have something behind your character to keep them from moving. However, you can't have it in just one space, because then your character will just get knocked sideways instead. Many people fix this by digging holes around their character. But the materials can't land in holes. Because of this, you're losing out on materials. Rocks aren't like trees, you have a time limit to collect more materials. If you take more than one second to hit the rock again after you start, then you're done collecting materials from that rock for the day. Yes, the whole day. Not only that, but there's also a limited amount of rocks on your main island. So if you want more materials, you have to go to a different island. I absolutely hate this, and I think it's completely unfair that the rocks were made this way. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. What time is it? Time for another new blog post! Recently there have been a few streaming services that are buying the streaming rights for new anime so no one else can stream them. This isn't a new business strategy, but the one who does it most often is Netflix. I actually have a big problem with this. Firstly, Netflix isn't an anime streaming service. So they're luring anime fans onto a platform that could only have one or two things they even like. Secondly, Netflix can cost up to nearly twenty or thirty dollars a month. So you're paying an insane amount of money for a streaming platform that might only have one thing you like. The lowest price is nine dollars but it forces you to watch ads anyways. You shouldn't have to watch ads on something you paid for. Especially if that streaming service doesn't even have very many things you like. Thirdly, Netflix as a business sucks. They've done a lot of things that a lot of people aren't comfortable with. Nobody wants to support a business that's run by awful people. Nobody wants to pay a ton of money to a morally bankrupt company for a small selection of shows they might like. I know other streaming services buy shows to lure people to their platforms. But I'm against Netflix buying anime in particular because they aren't even an anime platform. They're just luring people to a streaming service that should've burned out ages ago. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this. I know I was a bit harsh with this one, but I hope you all enjoyed it anyways.

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Skelekins. Skelekins aren't Japanese, but I think they match the yami kawaii aesthetic anyways. They're cute little plushies that come with a removable skeleton. When you take the skeleton out, the "skin" becomes a bag instead. You can also flip the bag inside out so it looks like a regular bag. But they're so cute I don't see why anyone would do that! Currently there are eight designs, but more are planned. I really like these little things, I think they're very cute and creepy. They aren't very well-known at the moment, but I think they'll gain popularity soon. New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about a complicated topic. Recently in the anime community, there's been a lot of femboy and tomboy erasure. It really bothers me, since it's just teaching people they can't be themselves. For those of you who may not know, a femboy is a man who dresses and acts feminine but is still a man. On the other hand, a tomboy is a woman who dresses and acts masculine but is still a woman. But in recent years, if a man is too feminine or a woman is too masculine, everyone says they're secretly trans and they just don't know it yet. It doesn't matter if the character corrects people who use the wrong pronouns, or if the character yells at people who call them the opposite gender. People still say "well all trans people do that before they discover who they really are". This actually started a long time ago with Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler. Grell was never explicitly stated to be a man or a woman because he was fine with both pronouns. He wears a suit and is referred to as a man by pretty much all of the other characters. He does use feminine pronouns for himself, but drag queens and feminine gay men also do that; which made things unclear. But because he was too feminine, fans immediately decided he isn't a feminine gay man and he isn't genderfluid, he's a trans woman. Personally I still use masculine pronouns for Grell because he's canonically fine with both pronouns, even if he usually uses feminine pronouns for himself. But I wouldn't suggest for others to do it because the fans will tear you apart for it. Which is part of the problem. The biggest problem with this is the "I'm right and you're wrong" mindset, and the bullying creators receive if they go against their fans. Oftentimes creators will just cave and give in to fans who won't leave them alone. This isn't fair for anyone. Personally I love how tomboys and femboys are shown in anime, and fans forcing "representation" onto them is ruining the experience for me and everyone else. People need to learn to keep their mouths shut and just accept what they're given, instead of forcing their own thoughts and beliefs onto everyone else. It's post time! The next season of Twisted Wonderland: The Animation will be released this December! Just like the first season, it will be available on Disney+ once it's been released. Along with this, this season will be focusing on Savanaclaw. The third season is also already in the works, and it will focus on Octavinelle; just like in the game. I've been a fan of this series since before it was even released. I happened to find it only two weeks after it was announced in Japan. So as a long-time fan, I'd like to say I was very happy with the first season! It took some time getting used to the English voices, and I still don't understand why the voice actor for Lilia is doing that silly voice for him. But otherwise I'm really looking forward to the next seasons! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

 It's post time! Recently there have been a lot of leaks for the next upcoming mainline Pokemon game, but there's also been a few official teasers, as well. However, I don't think this is enough to keep fans interested. The game is still almost a year away from being released, which is a long time to make people wait. There's also a really good chance we still won't get things we've been asking for for years now, like a new Eevee evolution. So, we have to wait a year for a game that can only be played on one system that most people don't have (the Nintendo Switch 2), and we likely won't get the things we want again anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if this next Pokemon game doesn't do as well as other games. With the long wait time and the unavailability for most people, there's a good chance a lot of people just won't be able to afford to play it; or won't want to play it. Being unable to afford the game or system is fine with Nintendo, since they act like those who can't afford to play their games don't deserve to play them in the first place.
