New day, new post! Today's blog post will be about my thoughts on Date Everything. However, even though I haven't personally played the game yet, there will be spoilers ahead. So proceed with caution! Before this game came out, a lot of people were looking forward to such a large dating sim. Until now, there's never been a dating sim with so many different characters. It was really amazing, and so many people were looking forward to it. But now that it's been out for a while, it has quickly started losing popularity. Why is this? It's because of a few things. Firstly, even though there's so many different characters, players end up only liking a select few. In trying to please everyone, the creators have made it so a lot of people don't even like most of the characters. Along with this, there's no reason to get attached to any of them in the first place; even if you like all of them. This isn't a dating simulator, it's an abandonment simulator. The characters you get to like you don't even stay in your life. That's right. Once you fall in love or become friends with them, they leave you. None of them stay. And apparently none of them want to stay either. Some of them even end up with each other or end up married to someone else. This is the worst possible thing for a dating sim. The name is literally Date Everything, but you end up actually dating nothing. None of these characters want you. It's so disappointing for a game that everyone had such high hopes for. Personally I couldn't believe it when I found out every character in this game just leaves you. It was a good idea, but it didn't meet expectations. I hope if the creators plan on making more games, it's not another dating sim. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
