It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about original characters. Original characters, or OC's, are characters created by an independent artist. Although they usually start out as a standalone character, a lot of artists will end up making more characters, a world, and a story to go along with them. A lot of OC's are made in the anime art style, and many artists end up turning their characters into a digital comic or webtoon. It's important to support independent artists, since a lot of people can create some pretty amazing things. Plus, with the rise of indie animation series, sometimes an artist's characters become a show. I recommend looking into original characters made by independent artists, because some of them are really wonderful, and artists need all the support they can get. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
