New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Yami Kawaii. Yami Kawaii is a somewhat unknown subculture from Japan, and the name literally translates to Dark Cute. As the name suggests, it centers around things that are scary or creepy, and cute. Things like blood, bandages, syringes, eye patches, and pills are common to see with this, as well. They're often combined with cute things like plushies, but it can also be a type of fashion. Although this isn't as popular as some of the other fashions from Japan, it can still occasionally be seen within the anime community. Yami Kawaii is actually one of my favorite things, and I recommend it for any anime fans that are interested in cute and creepy things. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
