What's wrong with Umamusume? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Umamusume is a series that follows the life of racing horses. However, these horses are actually anime girls with horse ears and tails. This series has been avoided by many anime fans because the horse girls are named after real racing horses. Despite this, I think it's a pretty good idea, and I think it could've worked better without involving real horses. It's an interesting story and a very original series. But involving real horses is what bothers most people. I can understand this, because a lot of people don't want to think about real animals when they like a fictional character. Not only is it a bit odd to name them after real racing horses, but using the names feels out of place in the series as well. Seeing mostly normal girls with such weird names just doesn't feel right. I think this series would've done much better if the creators had just made up original names for the girls. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
