It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Hot Topics. Hot Topics is a brand that's widely known for being an edgy, emo, and alternative store. However, the name implies it's actually following mainstream popular culture, which it is. What does this have to do with anime? Well, Hot Topics actually has a ton of anime merchandise. Since anime has become pretty mainstream, it's not surprising that such a large brand features it. They mostly carry the most popular brands, and they actually partner with Sanrio relatively often. Even though Hot Topics has mostly strayed away from its original categories, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I do have to mention that Hot Topics can get insanely expensive. They have sales often, but just make sure you check those prices before getting too excited. I always like talking about places where anime fans can find merchandise, so it's only natural for me to talk about this store too.
