This post is about Mello from the show Deathnote. Mello is another one of L's successors. He is older than Near, and he also grew up in Wammy's House with Near. He has a hard time keeping his emotions in check, and he thinks that he is "second best" to Near. He is also very smart, but he isn't as patient or level-headed as Near. He left Wammy's House when he was 14 because he didn't want to work with Near. He later joined the mafia. His best friend is Matt, who also lived in Wammy's House. Mello also obtained a large scar on the left side of his face and body, which he got from blowing up the mafia hideout.
