3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the movie The Last Unicorn. The Last Unicorn is a classic Japanese-American movie from the year 1982. Although the movie was mainly created in America, it was animated by a Japanese animation studio called Topcraft. Along with this, it was also based on the novel of the same name. This movie centers around a lone unicorn who spends her days in an enchanted forest. After learning that she is the last one of her kind, she leaves her home and sets off on a quest to find other unicorns. She faces many dangers and obstacles on her way, but she also finds friends that accompany her on her journey. This movie is a drama and fantasy film. But, there is also a bit of comedy mixed in as well. I personally highly recommend this movie, but it is available on many different streaming services if any of you would like to check it out for yourselves.
