Is Light Yagami ambidextrous? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There may be some spoilers for Death Note in this post though, so proceed with caution! Now then, on with the post! So, is Light Yagami ambidextrous? Although Light is shown writing with his right hand for most of the series, there is one scene in particular where he wrote with both hands. That scene would be the Potato Chip Scene, where Light is seen writing names with his left hand, and equations with his right hand. However, that doesn't necessarily mean he's ambidextrous. Since names written on the Death Note only have to be clear enough to read, that means Light doesn't need to be ambidextrous for this to work. But on the other hand, he could also be right-handed while still being ambidextrous. This would mean he mainly uses his right hand for writing and such, but he can also use his left hand when he needs to. This is most likely the case as well, especially since Light is able to write names while he was still working on his schoolwork. However, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Much like with my other theories, this won't be proven for sure unless the creators confirm or deny it themselves. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
