What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Pokemon Center. Pokemon Center is the official Pokemon shop, and it sells a wide variety of Pokemon merchandise. I've talked about it a couple times on my blog before, so I wanted to do a post for it. The Pokemon Center often adds new merchandise, especially for holidays. They also have a lot of seasonal items, and as of right now they're still shipping before Christmas. Some of the items can be pretty expensive, but you can also get some cheaper items as well. If you want to see what official Pokemon merchandise exists, this is a good place to check! Everything on the official website will be official merchandise. As always, I'll be including the link for the official Pokemon Center website below so you all can check it out. Enjoy!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Pokemon. To be more specific, I'll actually be talking about a common discussion topic within the fandom. Fans often think Pokemon are like animals, and that's true for some Pokemon. But Pokemon aren't animals. In fact, a lot of them are more like humans. They can talk and work, and there have even been humans who have married Pokemon. Some humans have even learned Pokemon abilities, as well. It's been implied, and sometimes stated, throughout the series that humans are evolved from Pokemon; so they're basically the same thing. It may seem odd to us, but Pokemon have never been animals. They're monsters. Which means they aren't animals or humans. They're something else entirely, and some of them are important members of society. I wanted to talk about this because I saw it being talked about again earlier today, so I wanted to talk about it myself. Hopefully this clears things up for any fans who may have been confused. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about how to watch free anime. Sometimes anime fans have trouble watching anime because they can't afford to get a streaming service, or they don't have access to one. Of course sometimes you can find someone who uploaded the anime on YouTube or BiliBili. But, those are either low quality, illegal, or they get taken down. However, there are ways to watch it! For example, free legal streaming services have been adding anime recently, including well-known series. This includes Tubi and Pluto TV. Crunchyroll also has some free episodes to watch now, as well. However, they don't have very many. Because of this, I recommend the other two more, since they'll allow you to watch the full series. There are already quite a few popular anime available to watch for free, so anime fans can continue enjoying the genre even without a subscription. I wanted to talk about this because with the holiday season coming up, people may not be able to continue paying for a subscription service right now. But that doesn't mean they should go entirely without, especially since anime is often a passion for people. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Cozy Grove again. I've been playing this game for a few days now, so I'd like to give my opinions on what Cozy Grove does better than Animal Crossing, and some things that are worse. Although people compare these games a lot, they aren't identical. Personally I think the fishing in Cozy Grove is a lot better and easier than it is in Animal Crossing. It's also easier to place objects, find the characters, and craft. There's also quite a few fun features in Cozy Grove, like the daily quests. However, there are some downsides. Sometimes the quests are tedious, or take a few days to complete. There's also an insane amount of quartz gemstones that just take up an inventory space because you can't sell them. I'm sure they'll be needed later, but currently they're in the way. It's a bit more difficult to earn money, which means it's more difficult to complete some of the quests. On the other hand, you can give characters story items even if they aren't in your main inventory. As long as they're in your storage, they're always available. This makes it a lot easier to keep your inventory open. But, that's all I have to say for today. As always, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

The official Twisted Wonderland art book is now available in English! This art book contains a lot of official art from the game, as well as some art that isn't in the game. American fans of the game will be glad to know it's finally available, since a lot of people have been waiting for it. You can find it on Viz's website, where it will tell you the price, where you can find it, and view a small free preview of the book. This art book has been out for a while, but the English translations always take a bit to officially release. There isn't much to say about this, but I wanted to talk about it because I was pretty excited to see an English version of the art book. As always, here's the link for the official Viz page. Enjoy!

3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Cozy Grove. I talked about this game yesterday, but I wanted to talk about it again because a lot of people compare it to Animal Crossing; so I wanted to give my opinion on that. I've played Cozy Grove for a couple days now, and I can see the similarities. However, it's pretty much entirely different. Of course you can craft, donate, upgrade your tent to a house, and fish. But the crafting system and resource collecting is a lot different, and the donation system isn't for a museum, but an archive that will reward you for every item unlocked. The house is pretty similar, but the decorating is different as well. The fishing is also way easier in Cozy Grove. You pretty much only have to aim and then reel it in, and it's so easy to catch a fish because they'll swim to your lure even if they're pretty far away. There are also a lot of daily quests in Cozy Grove that have to be completed to further the story. The characters and atmosphere is also pretty different for Cozy Grove. The people on the island are almost all ghost bears, and this is a game based on helping spirits. Despite this, it isn't scary or unsettling at all. Although I can see a few similarities between this game and Animal Crossing, I don't think there are nearly enough to write it off as just a copycat or clone. In fact, there are barely any similarities that I've found so far, and I think it was more likely the developers just liked Animal Crossing and wanted to add a few of the mechanics to their own game. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I recommend checking out Cozy Grove because it really is a very cute game. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the game Cozy Grove. Cozy Grove is a cute little life simulation camping game, and it was released in 2021. It's similar to Animal Crossing, while still having its own unique charms. In this game, your little spirit scout has to camp on an island alone while helping the wandering spirits find peace. It's a daily game that you have to come back to in real time, but you can do other things once you've finished your daily tasks; or before you've finished them if that's what you prefer. It isn't an anime game, but the main character does look very cute and chibi. I wanted to talk about this game because a lot of people compare it to Animal Crossing. However, I think it has a lot of its own unique features. I personally recommend this game, since it's very cute and laid-back. It's currently available as a free trial on the Nintendo Switch, but it also doesn't cost very much as it is. As always, here's a picture of the game. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the problem with new Pokemon. Now, I'm not going to be talking about how classic Pokemon are better or anything like that; especially since some of my favorite Pokemon are from the newer generations. Instead, I'll be talking about the issue with new Pokemon being made. Every generation has a lot of new Pokemon. This keeps the series fresh, and helps fans look forward to the new Pokemon they know will be released. However, recently there have been things like regional variants and other new twists on old Pokemon. But why is this? It's partially because it's very difficult to design new Pokemon. New Pokemon can't look too similar to any fan-made designs. This is to avoid accusations of plagiarism, and also to avoid potential lawsuits. But with so many fan designs, it's getting more and more difficult to create brand new fully unique Pokemon. Because of this, sometimes it's easier to just introduce new ways to update some of the original Pokemon. It can be through new evolutions, regional variants, or new in-game mechanics. This may be a bit disappointing to some fans, but it's one of the safest ways to create new Pokemon. Regardless, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this because some fans have been questioning the thought process between new Pokemon and remade old Pokemon for a while, and I think this is most likely the answer. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's winter! That means there's new content in Animal Crossing New Horizons. The weather is getting colder, the villagers are putting on their coats and hats, and snow is falling on the island. If this is your first year playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, then you probably won't have any winter clothes. This is because a lot of the winter gear is only sold at the Able Sisters Shop in winter. Nook's Cranny is also selling a different toy everyday to help celebrate the upcoming Toy Day. Toy Day is similar to Christmas, so it won't be for a little while yet. New winter DIY recipes will also be coming soon. As of right now, there won't be very much new things for winter; aside from the clothes and toys. But later this month more things will be available. That's all I have for now! Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about a common problem with English dubbed anime. Although English dubbed anime has become more popular and accepted in recent years, it's still not quite as easy to find as English subbed anime. This is because a lot of fans prefer English subbed over dubbed. However, this causes a problem for English dub fans. Often times the English dub versions of shows are much harder to find than the subbed versions. Along with this, some streaming services will only have the subbed version instead of both. Less popular anime series are even harder to find, which makes finding the dubbed anime almost impossible. This has always been a problem, and I'm glad some streaming services are working to fix it. But it's still a problem nonetheless. I just think it's a bit frustrating, especially since sometimes an English dub will just be fully cancelled and unfinished if it doesn't do well enough. It's really difficult for me to watch the show and read the subtitles at the same time, so it's kind of upsetting that English dubs are still looked down on and ignored as opposed to the subbed versions. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be listing five random Pokemon; along with a picture of each. I haven't done this in a while, so I decided to list a few more today. For a little reminder of how this works, I use the Surprise Me button on the official Pokemon website to pick Pokemon for my list. This is to help me list some Pokemon I haven't before, and to introduce fans to Pokemon they may not know about. Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Palkia

2.) Flapple

3.) Regigigas

4.) Ampharos

5.) Spoink

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be listing five of my favorite non-human characters; along with a picture of each, what they are, and what each character is from. I wanted to put together a list of a few of my favorite non-human characters because there's just so many of them. And to keep it from being too repetitive, each one will be from a different series. They'll also each be a different race, just for fun. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Lilia Vanrouge (fae) - Twisted Wonderland

2.) Wanderer (puppet) - Genshin Impact

3.) Demon Cleric (demon) - Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle

4.) Sleepy Ash (vampire) - Servamp

5.) Mr. Crawling (spirit) - Homicipher

It's time for another list! For today's blog post, I will be listing my top three favorite Servamps based on their animal forms; along with a picture of each. I haven't talked about Servamp in a while, so I wanted to list a few today. But to mix it up, I wanted to list my favorite animal forms instead of just my favorite characters; even if there is a bit of overlap. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Sleepy Ash

2.) Lawless

3.) Tsubaki

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Sea Butterfly from Animal Crossing New Horizons. The Sea Butterfly is a fish found in the ocean during winter months. However, it's not really a fish; it's actually a type of snail. I wanted to talk about this creature because many players think it's very beautiful when they first see it. Sea Butterflies are very pretty, and are even called Sea Angels. Despite this, it becomes something much different when it's about to feed. It opens its mouth to reveal a pretty unique and oddly terrifying head, which a lot of players really hate. The game actually got it incredibly accurate, and you can see the Sea Butterfly open its mouth either while your character is holding it, or if you put the Sea Butterfly in a tank and turn the light on. Whether this freaks people out or not, it's pretty amazing to see such detail added to the game. Of course it can be startling at first, but after a while it's pretty interesting to see. It's a bit difficult to find a picture of one with its mouth open without someone's character holding it, so here's a picture of what the Sea Butterfly normally looks like instead. Enjoy!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about why Flareon is the best companion for winter. There are a lot of different Pokemon, as well as a lot of different fire-type Pokemon. But I personally believe Flareon is the best one for winter. First of all, since Flareon is an Eevee evolution, that means it's very cute and fluffy. Although its body temperature can get extremely high, it can also be a natural heater. Flareon's fluff releases warm air to help keep Flareon cool, but that means it can also keep its trainer warm. This means not only is Flareon warm, but so is the air around it! This can be very useful for the cold winter months. It's also a good companion, since Eevee evolutions are usually rather friendly. This is why I think Flareon would be a good companion for winter. On a side note, this would also be a good excuse to make a heated Flareon plush, since it would technically be accurate to the Pokemon. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! As a little bonus, here's a picture of Flareon. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about gyroids in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Gyroids are small furniture items that can be set on the ground or hung on a wall. They make noises and will bop along to nearby music. But if this bothers you, they can also be switched off. They're rather popular in the Animal Crossing community, especially since the ones in New Horizons are cuter than other previous games. However, there are a lot of them, and I mean a lot. Every gyroid type has multiple colors, and collecting all of them can take a very long time; especially since some of them are more rare than others. You obtain gyroids by burying and watering a gyroid fragment, and then a full gyroid will be formed by the next day. Along with this, gyroids will randomly spawn naturally on your island after a rainy or snowy day. There are 36 gyroid types in total, each of which has multiple color variations; except one gyroid which is only available in one color. As always, I will be including a picture of gyroids below so you all can see what they look like. Enjoy!

3, 2, 1, post time! Today's blog post will be about the game Homicipher. This game has recently been gaining popularity, so I figured I'd talk about it. It seems very interesting and unique. The game was created by Yatsunagi, and it was released on November 1st of this year. Homicipher is a horror, language deciphering, point and click, and romance game that follows a mysterious female protagonist. The main character finds herself in a mysterious world with non-human beings, having no memory of who she is and no way of talking to the entities. You have to learn to decipher the language of the other entities while trying to escape this strange world. There's quite a few options, endings, and characters. A full playthrough would take hours, and it's meant to be played again and again. I haven't played this game myself, but I do recommend it if you enjoy mysterious twisted romance horror games. It looks very interesting and it has very good reviews so far. As always, I will be including the link for the official Steam page below so you all can check it out for yourselves. Enjoy!
