New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Pokemon. To be more specific, I'll actually be talking about a common discussion topic within the fandom. Fans often think Pokemon are like animals, and that's true for some Pokemon. But Pokemon aren't animals. In fact, a lot of them are more like humans. They can talk and work, and there have even been humans who have married Pokemon. Some humans have even learned Pokemon abilities, as well. It's been implied, and sometimes stated, throughout the series that humans are evolved from Pokemon; so they're basically the same thing. It may seem odd to us, but Pokemon have never been animals. They're monsters. Which means they aren't animals or humans. They're something else entirely, and some of them are important members of society. I wanted to talk about this because I saw it being talked about again earlier today, so I wanted to talk about it myself. Hopefully this clears things up for any fans who may have been confused.
