It's post time! Although many fans eventually get tired of Animal Crossing New Horizons, part of the reason people keep coming back is because of Easter Eggs. Even though a lot of the available items don't do anything when you interact with them, there's also quite a few items that will have fun little animations when you interact with them. Along with this, the villagers will say different things depending on how much you talk to them. If you talk to them everyday, they'll have the same repetitive dialogues. But if you don't talk to them for a few days, they complain about you not talking with them often, or they'll say they haven't seen you in a while. If you don't talk to them for a very long time, they'll say they missed you and wondered where you were. So even if things get repetitive, eventually there's a good chance you'll discover something new anyways. This is part of why this game is still popular even now, since players are still discovering things often. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
