It's post time! Recently a lot of games, apps, and websites have started age restricting content. This is important, because it is going to effect everyone, including the anime community. However, although it's inconvenient for adults, I think this is a step in the right direction. Most things are just asking for your birthday at the moment, which isn't too much of an inconvenience. Children have been in adult spaces for much too long. Parents aren't preventing it because they don't care about what their children are doing. It shouldn't be up to everyone else to parent children, but I personally am not comfortable with children and teenagers being in my space. I don't want to see a bunch of children and teens bragging about invading adult spaces because they can. I don't want to have to watch how I talk and interact with people just because a child has decided it's their right to make me uncomfortable. Children shouldn't be around adults and adults don't want to be around children. Because of this, I think it's a good idea to go back to separating things like the internet had to before. Children are going to keep going online, and they should stay where they're meant to be instead of acting like they belong with adults. It's unhealthy for children's development and it makes everyone else uncomfortable. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm sure quite a few people won't agree with me on this, but it's just my opinion. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
