It's post time! Today's blog post will be about Yami Marik from Yu-Gi-Oh. There may be a few spoilers ahead though, so proceed with caution! Now then, on with the post! Yami Marik is one of the main antagonists of the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, and he is the alter ego of Marik Ishtar. Unlike Yami Yugi and Yami Bakura, Yami Marik actually isn't a spirit trapped in a Millennium Item. Instead of this, Yami Marik is the embodiment of all of Marik's envy and frustration. Because of this, Yami Marik only cares about himself. He is also overly confident and practically obsessed with spreading pain. He built his deck around torture-themed cards, and he has enough knowledge about his shadow powers to turn the cards into a reality.
