Cute culture! What is cute culture? Well, cute, or kawaii, things are very popular in Japan. It has spread to clothes, food, toys, mannerisms, games, and just about everything else; and it is popular among a wide variety of people. Because of this, it has become a culture of its own. Cute things can be anything from ruffled pastel-colored clothes to small little stuffed animals to acting younger and more childish. It's very common to see cute things from Japan or to see characters acting younger and cuter in various Japanese shows. Cute, childish characters are very common in anime and manga as well; making it one of the most noticeable forms of the kawaii aesthetic.
