It's time to post! The blog post for today will be about Konpeito. Konpeito is a type of Japanese candy, and it can occasionally be seen in anime. However, it is most well-known for its appearance in the movie Spirited Away. It also made an appearance in the Hamtaro episode "Diamonds Of Sugar", as well. This relatively plain candy is rather popular among anime fans, and it's said to taste like rock candy. Despite its simple flavor, Konpeito is actually very colorful and bright candy. It is also a very recognizable candy, too. As always, I will be including a picture of the Konpeito seen in Spirited Away below so you guys can see what it looks like. Enjoy!
