It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the issues I have with the adventure rank system in Genshin Impact. For those of you who don't know, Genshin Impact has an adventure rank system that lets you raise the world level of your game. This allows you to take on more difficult quests and increase the level limits for your characters and equipment. Although the world level usually raises automatically with your adventure rank, there are occasionally mandatory ascension quests for certain adventure ranks. This makes it so you have to clear the quest before you can continue with your game. If you can't complete it, you won't be able to continue with the story mode of your game. You also won't be able to continue raising your adventure rank, and you'll need to redo the entire dungeon over again if you can't pass it the first time. Although the ascension quests are a creative idea, they can be very difficult and tedious. Along with this, the adventure ranks can already be difficult to raise on their own. Because of this, such a tedious system can discourage fans from playing the game; especially if they can't get past the mandatory ascension quests.
