Why do so many people dislike Balan Wonderworld? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Balan Wonderworld is a game that was just released this year; and it's a platforming/puzzle game with some quick time events and different stories. But despite this game's recent release, there have already been dozens of negative reviews for it. Why is this? Well, it's partially because of the strange controls. Which means all of the action buttons do the same thing. Along with this, its storyline is a bit unclear. The game is rather glitchy as well, and some of the available power-ups are very similar to other available power-ups. But despite all of the criticism, I like the game. I haven't gotten the chance to play it yet, but the graphics are rather charming. Many of the characters have good original designs, and a lot of the power-ups are pretty cute. However, I do agree it could use some improving. If the pre-existing glitches could be patched, and if different action buttons could be added, that would take away many of the criticisms people have with the game. Since people already had high hopes for the game, it was bound to receive some criticism. But, that doesn't mean you should dislike the game without at least trying it. Although I would suggest trying the demo first, since this game clearly isn't for everyone. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
