It's time to post! Since the weather is getting colder, I decided to talk about the Japanese Haramaki. A haramaki, or belly band, is a type of clothing that goes over your stomach. It was created to keep your core warm, since that's believed to help keep the rest of your body warm and healthy. They're usually used in late fall and throughout winter, as well. Although I've seen some people say the haramaki is worn under clothes, I've often seen it worn over clothes; so I suppose it just depends on personal preference. I think these little bands are pretty cute and useful, especially since they come in many colors and patterns now. As an example, here's a picture of Zoro from One Piece wearing a haramaki. Enjoy!
