It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of the most frustrating things about collecting crafting materials in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I know a lot of fans would say it's the tools, because the tools break. But for me personally, it's the rocks. To collect materials from rocks, you have to hit them with a shovel or an axe. But every time you hit it, it knocks you back. If you get too far away from it, you can't collect more items. So you have to have something behind your character to keep them from moving. However, you can't have it in just one space, because then your character will just get knocked sideways instead. Many people fix this by digging holes around their character. But the materials can't land in holes. Because of this, you're losing out on materials. Rocks aren't like trees, you have a time limit to collect more materials. If you take more than one second to hit the rock again after you start, then you're done collecting materials from that rock for the day. Yes, the whole day. Not only that, but there's also a limited amount of rocks on your main island. So if you want more materials, you have to go to a different island. I absolutely hate this, and I think it's completely unfair that the rocks were made this way. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Time for another new blog post! Recently there have been a few streaming services that are buying the streaming rights for new anime so no one else can stream them. This isn't a new business strategy, but the one who does it most often is Netflix. I actually have a big problem with this. Firstly, Netflix isn't an anime streaming service. So they're luring anime fans onto a platform that could only have one or two things they even like. Secondly, Netflix can cost up to nearly twenty or thirty dollars a month. So you're paying an insane amount of money for a streaming platform that might only have one thing you like. The lowest price is nine dollars but it forces you to watch ads anyways. You shouldn't have to watch ads on something you paid for. Especially if that streaming service doesn't even have very many things you like. Thirdly, Netflix as a business sucks. They've done a lot of things that a lot of people aren't comfortable with. Nobody wants to support a business that's run by awful people. Nobody wants to pay a ton of money to a morally bankrupt company for a small selection of shows they might like. I know other streaming services buy shows to lure people to their platforms. But I'm against Netflix buying anime in particular because they aren't even an anime platform. They're just luring people to a streaming service that should've burned out ages ago. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this. I know I was a bit harsh with this one, but I hope you all enjoyed it anyways.

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Skelekins. Skelekins aren't Japanese, but I think they match the yami kawaii aesthetic anyways. They're cute little plushies that come with a removable skeleton. When you take the skeleton out, the "skin" becomes a bag instead. You can also flip the bag inside out so it looks like a regular bag. But they're so cute I don't see why anyone would do that! Currently there are eight designs, but more are planned. I really like these little things, I think they're very cute and creepy. They aren't very well-known at the moment, but I think they'll gain popularity soon. As always, I'll be including a picture of the current Skelekins designs below so you all can see what they look like. Enjoy!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about a complicated topic. Recently in the anime community, there's been a lot of femboy and tomboy erasure. It really bothers me, since it's just teaching people they can't be themselves. For those of you who may not know, a femboy is a man who dresses and acts feminine but is still a man. On the other hand, a tomboy is a woman who dresses and acts masculine but is still a woman. But in recent years, if a man is too feminine or a woman is too masculine, everyone says they're secretly trans and they just don't know it yet. It doesn't matter if the character corrects people who use the wrong pronouns, or if the character yells at people who call them the opposite gender. People still say "well all trans people do that before they discover who they really are". This actually started a long time ago with Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler. Grell was never explicitly stated to be a man or a woman because he was fine with both pronouns. He wears a suit and is referred to as a man by pretty much all of the other characters. He does use feminine pronouns for himself, but drag queens and feminine gay men also do that; which made things unclear. But because he was too feminine, fans immediately decided he isn't a feminine gay man and he isn't genderfluid, he's a trans woman. Personally I still use masculine pronouns for Grell because he's canonically fine with both pronouns, even if he usually uses feminine pronouns for himself. But I wouldn't suggest for others to do it because the fans will tear you apart for it. Which is part of the problem. The biggest problem with this is the "I'm right and you're wrong" mindset, and the bullying creators receive if they go against their fans. Oftentimes creators will just cave and give in to fans who won't leave them alone. This isn't fair for anyone. Personally I love how tomboys and femboys are shown in anime, and fans forcing "representation" onto them is ruining the experience for me and everyone else. People need to learn to keep their mouths shut and just accept what they're given, instead of forcing their own thoughts and beliefs onto everyone else. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! And I hope at least some of you agree with it too!

It's post time! The next season of Twisted Wonderland: The Animation will be released this December! Just like the first season, it will be available on Disney+ once it's been released. Along with this, this season will be focusing on Savanaclaw. The third season is also already in the works, and it will focus on Octavinelle; just like in the game. I've been a fan of this series since before it was even released. I happened to find it only two weeks after it was announced in Japan. So as a long-time fan, I'd like to say I was very happy with the first season! It took some time getting used to the English voices, and I still don't understand why the voice actor for Lilia is doing that silly voice for him. But otherwise I'm really looking forward to the next seasons! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Recently there have been a lot of leaks for the next upcoming mainline Pokemon game, but there's also been a few official teasers, as well. However, I don't think this is enough to keep fans interested. The game is still almost a year away from being released, which is a long time to make people wait. There's also a really good chance we still won't get things we've been asking for for years now, like a new Eevee evolution. So, we have to wait a year for a game that can only be played on one system that most people don't have (the Nintendo Switch 2), and we likely won't get the things we want again anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if this next Pokemon game doesn't do as well as other games. With the long wait time and the unavailability for most people, there's a good chance a lot of people just won't be able to afford to play it; or won't want to play it. Being unable to afford the game or system is fine with Nintendo, since they act like those who can't afford to play their games don't deserve to play them in the first place. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! The blog post for today will be about ghost-type Pokemon and dark-type Pokemon. Both of these Pokemon types are actually pretty popular. Despite this, whenever a new game comes out, there are barely any ghost-type or dark-type Pokemon. I'm sure this is because the Pokemon company doesn't want to make too many creepy Pokemon, but I think they would still be popular if more were released. Even the ghost-type and dark-type Pokemon aren't very scary looking or creepy, so I don't know why there aren't more of them. These are my two favorite Pokemon types, so I'd love to see more of them. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Steam Deck. For those of you who don't know, a Steam Deck is a handheld console that lets you play your computer games on the go. There are a lot of games that are compatible with the Steam Deck, and apparently it's very popular with Nintendo Switch users. Steam Decks come with a lot of storage, most games can be played offline, and a lot of the games on it are cheaper than they are on the Nintendo Switch. There's also a much bigger selection of games. Anything that's on Steam can be put on the Steam Deck, but not all of the games are made for the Steam Deck. Sometimes you do have to map the buttons yourself. The Steam Deck is also a lot more expensive than the Nintendo Switch. However, you can buy a certified refurbished Steam Deck that has been completely cleaned and fixed at a heavily discounted price. There aren't any currently available, but they're worth the wait if you don't want to pay full price. A lot of people think Steam Decks are a lot better than the Nintendo Switch. With the large amount of games, cheaper games, and official refurbished discounted consoles, I can see why so many people prefer it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I'll be including the link for the official shopping page below. Enjoy!

It's time to post! Recently the Nintendo community has been talking about something Shigeru Miyamoto said. With all of these recent game remakes, fans have been complaining about the lack of original content. However, Shigeru Miyamoto defended these remakes, saying it's fine to make them because everyone stops playing the originals after five years anyways. This is an obvious lie, and it's also a flimsy argument for this topic. These games wouldn't still be popular if everyone stopped playing them within five years. There are a lot of people who still play the originals, and there would be even more people playing them if Nintendo didn't actively sabotage their old systems for money. This is just an excuse to keep making games that already exist to get money from people who have already bought these games before. Obviously Nintendo isn't the only company who does this, but this is the only time I've seen such a weak defense for it. I can see why people are upset about this, especially since it's not a good argument for this situation. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I'll be talking about Animal Crossing New Horizons updates. Although we just got a big new update earlier this year, fans are already asking about what could be coming next. Despite this, there really hasn't been any news about any future updates. Even though fans still have things they want in the game, there hasn't been anything said about potentially adding anything else. We weren't supposed to get another update in the first place, so I don't think it's likely we'll ever get another one. Updates like this are only created and released to keep players interested in the series while they're working on the next game. I'd like to say we'll get another update eventually, but we probably won't. I really hate that they do this with the games, because not everyone can just abandon their current islands and buy the next game because the creators are bored of the current one. Along with this, a lot of players don't want to abandon their current islands. This is why so many people want updates for this game instead of a new game. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Pokemon Mimikyu. Mimikyu is an interesting Pokemon because its real life popularity contradicts its in universe lore. In the Pokemon world, Mimikyu is an unpopular and feared Pokemon who just wants to be loved. But in real life, Pokemon fans love Mimikyu! It's actually one of the most popular Pokemon since it was released. Fans love its cute and creepy design, and because Mimikyu is only wearing a disguise, it's fun and easy for fans to make more disguises for it based on other Pokemon. Mimikyu is one of my personal favorites as well, and it has a lot of merchandise because of how popular it is. I think it's amazing how popular this little Pokemon became even though it's supposed to be "unlovable". But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about origami. Origami is a popular Japanese art, so it's not unusual to see it in anime and manga. Origami is paper folding. It's important to remember it's only considered origami if you fold the paper without using tape, glue, or scissors. You also can't mark the paper. The most common design is the crane, but there are a lot of different designs you can create. You can make simple ones or more complicated ones, as well. Origami takes a lot of patience, and folding the paper has to be done gently to avoid ripping it. Because of this, origami is an art used for learning patience. It's also very meditative, which is part of why it's still so popular even now. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! These days, people get offended pretty easily over a lot of things. But one of the most common arguments in the anime fandom is about young-looking characters who are actually adults. Because of this, I'd like to talk about it, and I think I'll probably have an unpopular opinion. Personally I think it doesn't matter how young a character looks as long as they're an established adult who is mentally aware of the fact that they are an adult. There are a lot of real life people who look way too young for their ages, and I don't think it would be right to say they're off limits just because of how they look. Characters may be different, in the sense that someone created them. But in real life, there are adults of all shapes and sizes. So saying a character is short and looks young so they don't deserve love, is just going to anger real life people who are short and look young. I think as long as an adult character is very clearly an adult, it doesn't matter what they look like. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Sanrio fans know there are a lot of Sanrio characters. However, there are so many that even Sanrio fans don't know about all of them. The official Sanrio timeline only includes the most popular ones, and characters that were created to be released with or for an existing character are overlooked entirely. For example, Kuromi is a really popular character. But not many people know she's actually part of an all girl group. Kuromi is the leader, but there are also four other characters that don't get merchandise and are never talked about. Things like this happen a lot with Sanrio characters. If they aren't popular, then they don't exist. Sanrio will cancel projects and bury characters quickly if they think they won't make enough money. This actually happened to Kirimichan, who was supposed to get a whole series that featured Kirimichan and their friends in human form. I really wish Sanrio wasn't like this, since it doesn't give anyone the opportunity to like something. Instead, it pushes fans towards things they're supposed to like and away from things they actually like. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. As a little bonus, I'll be including a picture of Kuromi with her friends below. Enjoy!

What are dual-type Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Newer Pokemon fans may not know what a dual-type Pokemon is. However, the answer is rather obvious. A dual-type Pokemon is a Pokemon with two types instead of one. The same strength and weakness rules apply, but with dual-type Pokemon you have to find the strengths and weaknesses for both types instead of one. There's quite a few dual-type Pokemon now, and if you know your Pokemon types it's easy to learn how to use them. I wanted to talk about this because a lot of fans act like these are obvious things, but new fans won't know anything about this. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Today I got a chance to play Mushroom Oasis, which is a free to play visual novel game made by DeersphereStudios, and it's available on Itch.io. I'm not going to go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, but I'm about halfway through one route and I already have mixed feelings about this game. I love the art style, and Mychael himself is a good character with a really amazing design. But the story is a little frustrating. The main character makes stupid decisions, and there are barely any choices for you to make. Playing the game feels like I'm just watching someone do the opposite of everything I tell them to do. It gets so annoying very quickly. Sometimes I pick an option and the main character does the exact opposite thing instead. Plus sometimes decisions are taken away from you, which makes it even more frustrating to play. I don't really like when games force you to do certain things unless it's done properly, and since this game already doesn't have very many choices, it doesn't feel like it's done properly. However, I will say that's a personal preference, so it might feel different for other people. Don't just take my word for it! Try the game yourself and form your own opinions about it. Keep in mind this game is made for adults, even if it doesn't have any NSFW content. As always, I'll be including a link to the official game website below for anyone who might be interested in playing it. Enjoy!

Why do Animal Crossing fans always ask for more custom design spaces? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Ever since Animal Crossing New Horizons came out, fans have been practically begging for more custom design spaces. Even though there have been a few updates since the release, they haven't added any more custom design spaces. This is a big problem, because Animal Crossing New Horizons fans use custom designs for everything. They use them for store fronts, make-up, eyebrows, hair, paths, outdoor rugs, special signs, indoor windows, and a lot more. Plus a lot of these designs take a lot of spaces to accurately create the correct things. This means you run out of spaces very quickly. It wouldn't be that difficult to give players more spaces, so I don't understand why Nintendo is so against this even though fans have been asking for it since the game first came out. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Since the internet has become completely overrun with children, a lot of adults want to blame everyone except the parents. People say we should make things less accessible to children by making things cost money, or by making it so adults have to show proof that they're adults. But this creates problems too. Not all adults have the money to spend on things, and not all adults feel comfortable giving companies their ID. Whenever kids are caught in adult spaces, they always have an excuse. But it isn't our job as adults to parent the children of other adults. I think children shouldn't be allowed on the internet at all if this is such a problem. This is a really big problem in the anime and gaming communities especially, and I personally am getting really tired of minors invading adult spaces and then acting like they have any right to be there. This happened recently in the Psycho Cuties community, and a large majority of the adults involved defended the minors involved. But this is wrong, they aren't right just because they're minors. If they shouldn't be in a place, they should be told to leave. Preferably nicely. There shouldn't be adults and other minors acting like they have a right to be there. If this things like this continue, we'll only have an even bigger problem. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

How do Fate/Grand Order players know what banners and events are coming up? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For a lot of games made in Japan or China, English server players usually have to wait a few months to get the same content. Usually it's about six months. Some games release it all at the same time. But Fate/Grand Order makes players wait two years. That's right! Two whole years! Unless something is specifically for that year, like the anniversaries or special events, English server users have to wait two years to get what everyone else considers old news. It would make sense if everything was one year behind, that happens with games like this all the time. But two years is insane! I personally started late, so I didn't know this was a problem until I saw other players complaining about it. But recently I was excited to be able to get Taisui Xingjun from the Leaves Of Evocation shop, only to find out he won't even be added until next April; which is still almost a year away. It's not fair! It's actually extremely unfair, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Even though it's only July, some stores and people are already getting ready for Halloween! So for today's blog post, I thought I would talk about something creepy. Because of this, I wanted to talk about bug Pokemon! Have you ever noticed bug Pokemon are never creepy? They're cool, or cute, but not creepy. I think there should be creepy bug Pokemon! I'd like to see some ghost-type bug Pokemon, or dark-type bug Pokemon. It would be a refreshing change, especially since there aren't very many of them at the moment. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Domo-kun. Domo-kun was originally a brown boxy mascot made for the Japanese channel NKH. He was created in 1998 as well, and he has a large open mouth. In the early 2000's, Domo-kun became extremely popular. His simple design made it easy to use him for pictures, memes, and wallpapers for computers and phones. Eventually Domo-kun escaped Japan and became a mascot for the American scene and nerd culture instead. In this context, he's usually seen wearing glasses. It's amazing how a simple Japanese mascot can become so popular for something completely unrelated to what he was created for. Since Domo-kun is starting to become popular again, I decided to talk about him today. As always, I'll be including a picture of Domo-kun below so you all can see what he looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! I was having a hard time thinking of what to do for today's blog post. I'm tired, and burned out. But I still want to do my daily post, because I enjoy it. So for today's blog post, I will be listing three pictures from the Chiikawa universe. Chiikawa characters are so cute, and I really like them. There's too much going on in the world right now, so numb your brain and take a break with these cute little guys! Hopefully they can brighten your day too! Now then, let's get on with the pictures! Enjoy!

It's post time! Recently the official Pokemon website changed its user interface. This means things have been moved around. Even though it looks similar, the Pokedex isn't as easy to find. It's been moved from the front page to a menu instead. It's still easy to find, but it can be confusing if you haven't been to the website in a while. Because of this, I wanted to talk about this for more casual fans who don't visit the Pokemon website very often. As always, I will be including the link for the official website below. Since Tanabata was just two days ago, I'll also be including a picture of the Pokemon Jirachi below. Enjoy!

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Undertale and Deltarune. These games aren't anime, they're actually in the pixel art style. But they've always been popular with anime fans, and there are a lot of animations and fan art done in the anime art style for these games. But why is this? Well, Undertale and Deltarune have a lot of anime references, both in the games and in the official merchandise. Because of this, anime fans enjoy finding all of the little easter eggs in the games. It's also fun to see games like this make anime references, and both games gained quite a big fan base in Japan as well; which also helped the anime community. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why were otakus always ridiculed? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Outside of Japan, an otaku is an intense anime fan. But in Japan, an otaku can be a fan of anything. Because of this, spending so much time on hobbies was always seen as a waste. Japan values hard work, so spending time on hobbies instead was looked down on. However, in recent years, Japan has been trying to encourage people to have more balanced lives. So, otakus are being shown in a more positive light. This includes fans of anime, videogames, and anything else. But you'll also still see a lot of anime and manga about overworked and burned out office workers, manga artists, and even game developers. After all, Japan values hard work! Regardless, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

Monday, July 6, 2026

It's post time! Recently there have been a lot more content made for otakus. Since otakus have been making more things themselves, there are a lot more games, manga, and anime about otakus, made for otakus. Maybe it feels like it's excluding casual fans, but I think it's a step in the right direction. Otakus were originally seen as unemployed losers, and this went on for a really long time. So to see them in a more positive light is a very good thing. For some clarification, otakus aren't normal anime fans. They're specifically the more committed ones who watch anime, play games, make content, buy merchandise, or attend conventions in their spare time. There's a lot of fans of other things that do this, so it felt wrong for otakus to be targeted specifically. I think all of these new series centering around otakus will be a good thing for the community. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why are there so many creepy or dark Pokedex entries now? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! In recent years, there have been more and more dark Pokedex entries. Even older Pokemon get new Pokedex entries that are like this. Why is this? Well, a lot of the fans are adults now. Children almost never read these, so most of them are added for older fans of the series. Even if Pokemon is made with children in mind, it's one of the few series that doesn't want to push away their original fans. I'm sure not all adult fans are interested in these darker entries, but a lot of them are. It helps keep the series more interesting for a lot of people. At least, that's what I think. Many other fans also seem to agree with this, as well. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's the Fourth Of July! But it's also America's 250th birthday! And for this year's special post, I will be talking about the Pokemon Braviary. The whole Pokemon fan base agrees that Braviary is the America Pokemon. It's an eagle, its feathers have red, white, and blue, and it's very strong. It's also a good fighter, and it's the Valiant Pokemon. Along with this, it's considered a brave warrior. That's why I'm talking about it for this year's post. It's pretty obvious what they were going for with this Pokemon, which is why people talk about it every Fourth Of July. As always, I'll be including a picture of Braviary below. Enjoy! Happy Independence Day everyone!

3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about clothes for villagers in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Villagers can wear any clothes in the game, except for socks, shoes, pants, skirts, wigs, and helmets. "Helmets" include anything that's considered full headgear in the game. This includes things like wigs, hoods, and certain hats. This can honestly be really limiting. Not only this, but the clothes they can wear look different on different animals. For example, sometimes hats will turn into dumb little tiny hats instead of covering their whole head, and some villagers can't wear glasses correctly. This can seem entertaining at first, but then after a while you realize how ridiculous it looks. Instead of doing this, I wish the creators would have just taken more time to model the clothes to fit the villagers the right way. Doing it the way they did just makes it feel like the world they live in isn't very inclusive of certain animals. If you can't wear something, you don't get to wear it the right way. This kind of ruins the point of the game, which is supposed to be about being kind to others and building connections within your community. It also would've been much easier to model them all if they were able to wear pants and shoes, as well as if they could wear hats and glasses properly. I understand why they can't wear helmets, but doing it the way it was done creates way more work than necessary; especially since full body outfits had to be redesigned for villagers. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about something that's been bothering me about Character AI. I've been using it a bit more to see why fans are still complaining even though they've been fixing things. But, I think I understand now. Even though things are being fixed and it's going back to normal, there's still one massive problem. It's absolutely filled with long ads that you can't skip. Being forced to watch these ads doesn't do anything. You don't get more continues or swipes. It will, however, sometimes close your app or crash it completely. So you're being forced to watch ads you can't close or skip, for no reward. You don't get anything from them. You get a headache from the amount of stress these ads cause. Because they aren't short ads, no. They're long sixty second ads that you cannot get rid of. You could close the app, sure. But you could also risk losing the message you just typed before the ad. This is because an ad is triggered by you sending a certain number of messages, and the draft feature doesn't always save your in progress message when this happens. What's the point of these ads if they're just there to make you angry? They don't give you anything, and they can crash your app very easily. I know it takes money to run a company, but with the amount of ads, users, and premium subscribers, there's no way it takes this much money to run the company or the platform. It's ridiculous at this point. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! It was recently announced that the Vtuber and web comic creator Merryweather will be added to Blush Blush! I'm very excited about this, since I've been a fan of Merryweather and Blush Blush for years now. This is the first official character collaboration that I know of, and Merryweather himself will be providing the voice for the character. The character will be based on his Vtuber model, as well. This was an unexpected collaboration, but I'm very happy it's happening anyways. The character will be called Merry, and he'll be available through a purchasable bundle. For anyone else who may be as excited as I am, here's an official picture of what he'll look like in the game. Enjoy!
