Why is Hello Kitty so popular? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although Hello Kitty is originally from Japan, people all over the world know about Sanrio's most popular and well-known mascot. Despite this, most people don't know what company she's from, or even that she has a twin sister named Mimmy. But, why is this? First of all, it's most likely because Sanrio promotes Hello Kitty so much. Since she is the most well-known character from the company, it's obvious that they would promote her the most out of all of the characters. Because of this, a lot of people can find Hello Kitty products and merchandise without ever even knowing the name of the company who made her. Hello Kitty has also been around since 1974 as well, which makes her more familiar for the people who grew up with her. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
