Why is Kirby so popular? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Kirby has always been very popular, and even people who have never played the games know who he is. But why is this? First of all, Kirby is very recognizable. Even though he's a small pink ball, it's very easy to recognize him. He also has a lot of merchandise, and he's very cute. Because of this, even people who aren't gamers or anime fans can find a reason to like him. He's very simple, and adorable. Along with this, Kirby originally didn't have a gender. Although he's considered a boy in America, he originally didn't have a gender. Even though this doesn't seem very important, genderless characters are more popular in Japan. This is because Kirby's lack of expressions and lack of gender makes it so anyone can play the games and experience the story themselves. However, officially making him a boy didn't change his popularity, because he's still cute, fun, and recognizable. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
