For today's blog post, I will be talking about Thornyan from Yokai Watch. Thornyan is a wind attribute Yokai from the Charming Tribe. Much like other cat Yokai in this series, Thornyan looks a lot like Jibanyan. In the anime, Jibanyan turned into Thornyan when he caught a cold. Despite just being Jibanyan with a cold, Thornyan actually looks much different compared to Jibanyan. For an example, Thornyan is covered in spikes. These spikes will shoot out in all directions when he sneezes. If anyone is hit with these spikes, they will grow spikes of their own and catch a cold as well. As a little bonus, I will be including a picture of Thornyan below so you guys can see what he looks like. Enjoy!
