What are magical girls? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Magical girls are a popular and well-known trope found in anime. Along with this, their influence can be found in many different shows and movies; even if they aren't anime related. Magical girls are mostly known for their transformation sequences as well, and one of the most popular magical girls is Sailor Moon. Magical girls are generally young girls who have magical powers that they were either born with, or given later in life. These powers are generally very strong and can be used to successfully move the plot along. Rumor has it there are sometimes magical boys too, but they are a much rarer species.
