What is a JRPG? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! First of all, JRPG stands for Japanese Role Playing Game. JRPGs are actually pretty well-known and common, and they can easily be found in places outside of Japan. They generally have the anime art-style as well, and some of the most popular JRPGs are Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. JRPGs follow storylines similar to any other role-playing games, and many JRPGs allow you to customize your characters in one way or another. Even though these games obviously originated in Japan, their popularity and influence has been spread across the world.
