Why does Madame Ping look the way she does in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Madame Ping is an adeptus who lives in Liyue Harbor. She's one of the only adepti who live in the city, along with Ganyu and Yanfei. However, she is the only adeptus so far who seems to have aged. The other adepti are also thousands of years old just as she is, but she's the only one who doesn't look young. She hasn't always looked that way either, since she's talked about how she looked when she was young. It's unknown if she's full adeptus or not, but even Ganyu still looks very young. Madame Ping may have changed her appearance to blend in with the humans, but that wouldn't make much sense considering Ganyu and Yanfei don't change their appearances. From Madame Ping's descriptions, she already looked like a human anyways. It just doesn't make sense for one adeptus to age further when the others stop aging at a certain point. Even Cloud Retainer still sounds young, and she's also one of the older adepti. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's difficult to say exactly why Madame Ping looks older than the others. But, I do hope we get some answers in the future. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
