What's wrong with Il Dottore in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! However, there will be some spoilers for the game and manga, so proceed with caution! Now then, on with the post! For those of you who don't know, Dottore was originally introduced in the manga. He was young, easy to anger, and a little silly, but still respected as a Fatui Harbinger. But when he was revealed in the game, he was nothing like this. He was still respected, but now he was mature and serious. This was explained away, but fans were still very disappointed. Most of the Fatui Harbingers are serious and intimidating, so it was fun to see someone who wasn't like this, but was still respected. We didn't get that though, we got someone who was the same as the others. It was really upsetting to see the character everyone had been waiting for, become a completely different character. Of course, he still ended up being popular. But it was for an entirely different reason. I wish they had kept his character the same as it originally was, instead of completely changing him. As it is, it doesn't even feel like the version of him from the manga could ever be a part of him from the game. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm really disappointed with the version of him we got, especially since we'll likely never see his manga version ever again. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
