Why are shiny Pokemon so special? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Shiny Pokemon are often talked about within the Pokemon community. But why are they so special? Well, they aren't just differently colored Pokemon, they're rare. Finding them through normal playthroughs is just about impossible, so a lot of people focus on getting their favorite Pokemon in shiny forms. A few shiny Pokemon are even liked more than the original Pokemon. A good example of this is Umbreon, since a lot of players prefer its blue rings over the original yellow rings. I personally also prefer shiny Sylveon, since I think the blue looks much prettier than the pink. However, sometimes shiny Pokemon also match their original versions very well, so some players like having one of each. Sylveon is a good example of this, since the colors are swapped, which makes them match very well.
