Why do people dislike AI art? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! AI art has been heavily debated for quite some time now. But why do so many people dislike it? Well, unlike regular art, AI art is much easier to make. It steals art from human artists to use so it can create new art. Not only this, but it doesn't always get things right. AI art is kind of similar to stealing art, as well as cheating. Having artificial intelligence create art for you is much different than making it yourself. Although it's easier, it removes the humanity that comes with hand drawn art. It's also very insulting to artists who spend hours, days, or even weeks and months on their artwork just to have it stolen and used by someone else. If art was a product, AI art would be the knock-off. I understand using AI art for personal use, because sometimes it can be fun to see what you can make. But I heavily disagree with using it to make money, or to "fix" real art pieces. Becoming an artist can be difficult, but it's not impossible. It can be very rewarding to be able to create your own art pieces without the help of AI, as well. I wanted to talk about this because AI art has become common to see in the anime community, so I wanted to give my thoughts on it. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
