Why is Undertale so popular in the anime fandom? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Undertale is an indie game from 2015. It was, and still is, extremely popular. However, it isn't exactly anime. Not even close, actually. Despite this, it managed to become popular with anime fans. Why is this? Well, it's partially because Undertale contains a lot of anime references. This makes playing it as an anime fan kind of like a treasure hunt. The characters also match the anime art style really well. This makes it easy for artists to draw Undertale characters, which just pushes it further into the anime fandom. There were many anime-like animations, as well. All of this makes it seem like it was only a matter of time before Undertale became an anime thing. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
