It's time to post! Recently Nintendo gave Animal Crossing New Horizons fans a little surprise for the 25th anniversary. Everyone received a note and a special leaf statue in the game. This is nice, however, it feels a bit disappointing. I think the leaf statue should have at least said 25 on it somewhere so fans would remember what it was for. Instead it's just a giant green leaf that lights up. I feel like without the note, a lot of fans wouldn't see it as anything other than a leaf. There are so many things that could've been good for the 25th anniversary of Animal Crossing. 25 years is a long time! And all fans got was a leaf and a note. Even for really important things, somehow the creators still manage to fall short. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
