It's post time! Since other popular things from the early 2000's have been making a comeback, I'd like to talk about another popular thing for newer fans. But unlike the other things I've talked about, this one does belong in the anime community. That thing, is Nyan Cat. Although Nyan Cat is pixel art, it became very popular in a lot of online communities. But in the anime community, it was because Nyan Cat brought a Vocaloid song outside of the community. The song used for Nyan Cat was a cover of a Hatsune Miku song. Most people don't know that, but it was one of the first times a Vocaloid song made it outside of the usual fan base. Nyan Cat never really faded in popularity, and now there are a lot of different versions of Nyan Cat on the internet. As always, I'll be including a picture of Nyan Cat below. Enjoy!
