New day, new post! Since I recently talked about the bad side of the indie games fandom, I'd like to talk about the good side today. There's actually a lot of good fans in the fandom. Having a large fan base can encourage creators to make more content, make content faster, and continue working to improve the game. Sometimes it even encourages creators to make merchandise for their games. Not only this, but more fans means more people will be interested in looking into the games, too. Fans also make Wikia pages and fan content, which makes it easier for new fans to learn more about the games. It's also a good way to talk to others who like the same games, and fans often fund indie games financially. So even though I was harsh in my previous post, I was only talking about the toxic minority. Most fans are much more supportive of small creators. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
