What are the white triangle headbands some of the characters wear in manga and anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although they don't show up super often in anime, these white triangles are very recognizable. So, what do they mean? These headbands are actually corpse headbands, and they are usually there to show a character has died. More specifically, it's to show that a character is now a ghost. The root and backstory of these headbands is rather unclear, but in the modern sense they are almost exclusively used to show that someone has died and become a ghost. This is most commonly seen in anime and manga as well, and it can even be seen in some Vocaloid videos.
