Why does dendro play such a small part in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, dendro is one of the seven elements. Sumeru is also the nation of dendro, and they even have an archon. Not only this, but Sumeru is supposed to be the next nation added to the game. But despite this, there aren't any dendro characters. There are barely even any dendro monsters, and the dendro archon hasn't even been named yet. He's simply known as the God of Wisdom. But, why is this? It's actually unclear. There have been characters with visions from the other six elements, but there hasn't even been a mention of someone with a dendro vision. This may just be because Sumeru is a mysterious nation, but there are even electro visions. So why wouldn't there be dendro visions? There may be an explanation for it in the story of the game, but as of right now there are no given reasons for why dendro has been practically neglected this whole time.
