It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about why L is smarter than Light Yagami in Death Note. Although Light and L were made to be counterparts, it was pretty clear that L was actually the smarter one. This seems like a pretty bold statement, but it's true. It's very clear that Light is smart, and he's a borderline prodigy. However, he makes many mistakes that get him in trouble. He acts very impulsively, as well. Despite his constant planning, he never fully plans anything. On the other hand, L plans for almost everything. He considers all of the possible outcomes, and he thinks everything out before acting on it. This difference may be because Light allows his feelings to get in the way. Even if Light is close to L's level of intelligence, he'll never fully reach it. Whether it be because of his emotions, his poor planning skills, or because of something else entirely is hard to say. Regardless, it's still safe to say that L is the smarter person. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
