It's time for another list! So for today's blog post, I will be listing three cute Nintendo games that are secretly dark. Along with this, I'll also be giving a reason for each one. Now then, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Kirby - Although this cute and colorful game seems harmless, it actually has a really dark story. Not only have things tried to destroy the world multiple times, but every new final boss is more horrifying than the last.

2.) Splatoon - What could be wrong with a cute competition where you splatter each other with ink? Everything. Everything can be wrong. Splatoon takes place in a post apocalyptic world where humans drowned. Then, it was taken over by inklings and octolings who get to be heavily segregated.

3.) Pokemon - This series started out cute and fun, but it's gotten worse with time. Along with creepy ghost children being added to some Pokemon games, many of the pokedex entries have also been tainted with time. Along with this, some of the antagonists we face are surprisingly bloodthirsty for being in a kids game.
