Why is Totoro so popular? Although Studio Ghibli has quite a few popular movies, nothing is as popular as Totoro. Even though the movie itself isn't as popular as some of the others, Totoro himself is immensely popular. Almost everyone knows about him, even if they've never watched My Neighbor Totoro. Why is this? Well, it's mostly because Totoro is Studio Ghibli's mascot. Since he's become such a well-known figure, his popularity just keeps spreading. He's even appeared in non-anime works, which helps his image spread even more. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be about a trapped Snorlax. Recently there was a photo posted on reddit of a giant Snorlax plush trapped inside a claw machine game. Although this game doesn't work like normal claw machines, Pokemon fans have still started demanding the Snorlax's freedom. This is, of course, a big joke within the community. Seeing him squished inside that machine would make anyone want to free him. Regardless, whoever does free this giant plush will be very happy with it. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms, or sakura, are very well-known when it comes to anime. They've become very synonymous with anime because of how often they appear. This is because they're extremely popular in Japan. There are even viewing festivals for the cherry blossoms because of how fleeting they are. Sakura petals can be seen often in anime and manga, characters are often named Sakura, and you can even see sakura-themed snacks. Did Yoosung romantically love Rika in Mystic Messenger? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will be spoilers, though. For those of you who don't know, Rika was Yoosung's cousin. He became very close with her as he got older, and after a while he became obsessed. After she was gone, he quickly turned on her fiance, V, and blamed him for everything. Once he met the MC, he began comparing her to Rika. The MC's kindness reminded him of Rika, but it's also why he started liking her. He confused his feelings and began comparing the two girls, thinking they were similar even when they weren't. He missed Rika so much that he saw her in the first kind girl he met. This made many fans believe Yoosung romantically loved Rika because he does romantically love MC. But, this isn't the case at all. Yoosung just respected Rika. He looked up to her and admired her. She was one of the kindest people in his life, and she was always so bright. Once Yoosung realized he actually loved MC, he stopped comparing her to Rika. Because he only admired Rika, and has even admitted to not having feelings for her. He reminds people many times that they're cousins and family, too. Even though Rika was adopted, he still only ever saw her as family. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

Why is everyone so obsessed with the Pokemon Lechonk? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post. For those who don't know, Lechonk is one of the newest Pokemon. It will be in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and it's a round little pig Pokemon. Because of its small roundness, people fell in love with it. New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about V and grief from Mystic Messenger. There will definitely be spoilers though, so proceed with caution. The grief behind V is often misunderstood, since many people assume it's because Rika is gone. However, Rika is still around. The issue isn't that she's gone, it's that she left. He loves her dearly, but she completely closed herself off from him. He wanted to spend his life with her, but her plans ruined their possible future. Because no one else in the RFA would understand, V had to lie about her death. This only added to his grief, since he was the only one who knew the truth. Although there's a route for him now, he was originally one of the only characters you couldn't date. This is because he loves Rika so much that he isn't interested in anyone else. The others in the RFA don't fully understand why he's still grieving, which only makes it harder for him. Since Seven is also grieving from the loss of his brother, he's the one who understands V the most. Although neither of them truly lost the person they cared for, V forever lost the life he had hoped for. He lost his love, his life, and his future. I know this post was pretty heavy, but it's something I hold close because I currently relate to it. I understand his pain very well, and wanted to talk about it here. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Zen's narcissism in Mystic Messenger. There will be spoilers, though. First of all, each RFA member in the game has one main thing that represents them. Yoosung is a struggling college student who's trying to escape reality, Jaehee is extremely overworked, Jumin is cold because of his upbringing, V is closed off due to grief, and 707 is hiding behind a mask so others don't see his sadness. As for Zen, he's a narcissist. But just like with the others, there's more than just that. Zen is actually just overly praising himself because of his upbringing. His narcissism is a product of bad parenting, and low self-esteem. His confidence was actually shattered long ago, which means he really just wants people to notice him. His surface-level narcissistic behavior was secretly caused by his mother's constant insults. As soon as he realized he was actually handsome, he wanted to make up for lost time. However, now his looks are all people notice. This just makes him more insecure, since he really wants people to notice his talent. This all creates a repeating cycle of unneeded narcissistic behavior, which only persists because of all of the shallow compliments people give him. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

For those of you who don't know, Vanderwood is one of the only Mystic Messenger characters without a route. Despite this, Cheritz has stated they won't be adding any more routes (looking at you, Elizabeth The 3rd). However, the fans have rekindled their hopes because of the recent birthday art. This art is the first one to include Vanderwood, and the fans hope it means something. Of course, it could mean nothing. But it also doesn't hurt to hold onto some hope for a new route. For those of you who don't know, there was recently a leak going around concerning Sprigatito's final evolution. It was just revealed within the last day or two, and the leak spread like wildfire. Although some fans were against the design, many fans actually loved it. Unfortunately, it was soon confirmed to be fake. This is rather disappointing for many people, but at least it was disproven very early on. What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Wattpad. What is Wattpad? A public writing platform. What does it have to do with anime? Fan fiction. Many anime, manga, and even Vocaloid fans use Wattpad to post their fan fictions. It's a free-to-use platform, and it's really easy to sign up. It's free to post any stories, and it's easy to find and read new fan fictions too. There's pretty much anything for anyone at this point, and sometimes you can find a real gem. I would recommend Wattpad for anyone who wants to read or write fan fiction, since it's really easy to get started there. You can also just use it for original stories, as well. Is reality shifting real? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although reality shifting isn't necessarily anime exclusive, many anime fans are interested in the possibility. After all, who wouldn't want to be a part of their favorite anime or game? But, is it even real? Many people are divided over this question. Some people say it isn't, mostly because you can't get hurt while shifting. Other people swear it's real, because it seems so vivid and lively. People who have shifted say their desired reality is just as real as our current reality. However, it's difficult to prove what this is one way or another. It may just be a type of self hypnosis, which allows the person involved to trick their brain into believing something else. Either way, it's completely harmless. I think it's a good way for people to cope, as long as they don't let it take over their lives. There's nothing wrong with taking a break from life's struggles every now and then. But, I digress. I know this is different from my usual posts, but I figured it would be a good topic because of how popular reality shifting is within the anime community. New day, new post! Today's blog post will be about otakus in anime. For those of you who don't know, an otaku is someone who is a fan of anime. Although it was originally seen as a type of insult, the anime community has since adopted it. Because of this, otakus have begun showing up in anime. There are actually quite a few of them now, as seen in Himouto Umaru-Chan, Lucky Star, and Ultimate Otaku Teacher. However, it's actually pretty ironic when an anime character is an otaku; for obvious reasons. It does pose the question, are anime characters just normal people in their world, or are they animated like in our world? Are they considered extremely realistic, or are they stylized? These are questions that may never be answered. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Today's blog post will be a bit more laid-back, since I'll just be talking about something from Genshin Impact. That thing is, why is Venti allergic to cats? Along with this, do other archons have similar issues? Venti may have this issue because of how much time he spends with humans, but that may not be the case. It may also be because he had this problem before he gained a human form, but I find that hard to believe; especially since he didn't really have a nose. It may partially be because he's the weakest archon, as well. Other archons don't seem to have this issue, so this could be a factor. But if he really does just naturally have allergies, there's a chance other archons have these little health problems too. Whatever the case may be, I just found it odd for a god to have a cat allergy. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

I've been meaning to talk about this cool little project for weeks, but I've just been so ragged that I couldn't. So I'll be talking about it now instead. This neat little Pikachu statue is lifesize, and it was made out of clay. It's also a phone charger, since a circular touch charger was put in Pikachu's cheek. It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about grief. Specifically, I'll be talking about Lawless from Servamp. There will be spoilers, though. For those of you who don't know, Lawless once had an eve named Ophelia. He loved her more than anything, but eventually she was sacrificed for her country. No matter what Lawless did, he couldn't keep her. This grief sent him into a very long depression. He spent hundreds of years protecting her statue, only to lose that as well. This bitterness and loss made him close himself off to others. He didn't care for any of his eves after this, even killing them when he was bored of them. He never got close with another, mostly because of this fear of loss. This power of grief poisoned the rest of his unnaturally long life, just because he lost who he cared for the most. Even though this seems exaggerated, it actually shows how deeply such an event can run and how much it'll effect the rest of your life. Had Lawless not lost Ophelia, or had he at least spent more time with her, he would've been an entirely different person. This, is an excellent example of grief. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this pretty serious blog post!

It's June 1st! This marks the beginning of pride month. So, today I'll be talking about 707 from Mystic Messenger. Why am I talking about Seven for pride month? Because he's bi/pan, of course. It's unclear whether he's bi or pan, but it was revealed in the RFA guidebook that Seven doesn't care who his partner is as long as he gets along with them. As long as he loves them, Seven doesn't care what gender his potential partner is. This has even been confirmed in the game, since he jokingly says V's voice is a bit his taste if you say you like it. Jaehee is also most likely bi, since she ends up falling for the MC after only dating guys. It's really surprising how much good representation can be found if you just look around a bit. 707 and Jaehee are beloved characters, and they aren't treated any differently from any of the other characters.
