New day, new post! Today's blog post will be about otakus in anime. For those of you who don't know, an otaku is someone who is a fan of anime. Although it was originally seen as a type of insult, the anime community has since adopted it. Because of this, otakus have begun showing up in anime. There are actually quite a few of them now, as seen in Himouto Umaru-Chan, Lucky Star, and Ultimate Otaku Teacher. However, it's actually pretty ironic when an anime character is an otaku; for obvious reasons. It does pose the question, are anime characters just normal people in their world, or are they animated like in our world? Are they considered extremely realistic, or are they stylized? These are questions that may never be answered. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
