New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about my least favorite ship. That ship, is L x Light. Minor Death Note spoilers from here on. L x Light is one of the most popular ships from Death Note, as well as in the anime community in general. However, I really hate this ship. First of all, it doesn't make sense for L and Light's personalities. I understand wanting to pair them up because they're enemies, but it just doesn't make sense. Both L and Light were shown to be attracted to girls, and it's been implied in Death Note 13: How To Read that L may have been lying about that. It's been hinted at more than once that L just doesn't feel attraction to pretty much anyone. But if we overlook this, there's still no way he would like someone who he suspects of being a murderer. It's also implied that Light as Kira hates L. But even when Light isn't Kira, he doesn't like L very much at all. He knows L is smart, but he finds his stubborn side very frustrating. He disagrees with how L does things very often, as well. This mixed with the fact that they just all around don't like each other makes this ship not just unrealistic, but also just pretty much impossible. That being said, I don't care who people ship as long as they do it respectfully and don't force others to feel the same way. I just wanted to talk about this because I've seen this pairing for years now and I've never really liked it. Regardless, those are mostly just my opinions on the subject. Should Twisted Wonderland include more classic Disney movies? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Twisted Wonderland is based on classic Disney movies. Although the dorms don't include all of the films, some events have introduced more characters and locations based on other films. So, should they continue including more movies? The short answer: yes! Special events have introduced characters that fans love, and adding more places and characters based on the movies helps satisfy the fans. Not only this, but there are still quite a few movies that Twisted Wonderland could pull from. Movies like Peter Pan, Dumbo, or even The Emperor's New Groove would be a big hit with fans. Along with this, it would provide even more content to work with; which gives the creators more creative liberty. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to talk about this because fans are still disappointed by the lack of some classic Disney characters; like Captain Hook. Personally I would love seeing more things like this in events, and I know other fans would love it too. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why do Pokedex entries keep getting darker? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Recently many Pokemon fans have been saying that Pokedex entries are getting much darker. But why is this? Well, it's likely because Pokemon fans are getting older. Of course there are newer younger fans, but most of the fans have grown up with the franchise. Because of this, it's important to keep them interested in some way. If Pokemon games were made and targeted only for kids, eventually the franchise would lose the older audiences. This would be a pretty big blow to the company because many fans are adults now. So to help keep them interested, darker and more mature elements are hidden throughout the game. This makes it so kids can still play the games, while also providing content for older teens and adults. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this because many fans have been surprised by the increasingly dark Pokedex entries for quite some time now. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Will there ever be new Death Note content? Well, that's what I'll be talking about today! Death Note is a series that usually has new content often, but today I'll only be talking about content made by the original creators. After the end of the manga, there's been hardly any new content. However, a new one shot has come out every few years. One shots are short manga stories that tell a one-off story. Although there haven't been many, the original creators have made a few for Death Note. In fact, the most recent one is just from a few years ago. Because of this, I think it's safe to say Death Note will likely continue to get more new content. Death Note is one of the most popular series ever, and fans are always scrambling to get any content they can from it. So as long as there are fans, there will be content. Of course not all of this content is good or accurate, but it does encourage the original creators to add more to the ongoing story. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. There isn't any news about anything new being made or released. I'm just basing this post on previous one shot releases. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

2.) Nani - What? That's what this word means. It's the Japanese word for what.

3.) Sugoi - A way of saying something is amazing or awesome.

4.) Desu - This one is a bit trickier. It comes at the end of a sentence to show that the sentence is over. However, it isn't a period, and it isn't used for every sentence.

5.) Kawaii - It's the Japanese word for cute.

It's pretty popular even now, and it's known for its retro pixel graphics. Now you may ask, why am I talking about it on an anime blog? Well, this game is actually a good one for anime fans. If you play through the game, it has a lot of anime references; and I mean a lot. So if you're a fan of anime, it's fun to play through the game and find all of the jokes, easter eggs, and references. Along with this, it even has an official Japanese localization. What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be giving my opinions on the Paradox forms of Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. These three Pokemon are very well-known and loved, so making variants for them would've been tricky. When it comes to their Paradox forms, they're pretty hit-or-miss with the fans. Some fans love them, others hate them. Personally, I don't like them very much. They're definitely not horrible, but they feel like they're missing something. Walking Wake doesn't really feel like Suicune, aside from its coloring. Along with this, Raging Bolt looks more like a giraffe than a variant of Raikou. Out of the three, my favorite is probably Gouging Fire; which is based on Entei. I don't like its name very much, but its design is pretty good, and personally I think it's the best out of the three. I like the idea of making them dinosaurs, but I feel like it could've been done a little better. Then again, it would be difficult redesigning Entei, Raikou, and Suicune at all; let alone turning them into dinosaurs. But, those are just my thoughts. Why aren't Meiko and Kaito more popular? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Meiko and Kaito are Vocaloids who were made by Crypton Future Media. Crypton Future Media is known for creating Hatsune Miku, but Kaito and Meiko were actually made first. They're the originals, but also the most overlooked ones. They aren't given very many songs in games or live shows, despite them both having quite a few fans. But they aren't as popular because the company doesn't promote them. Finding merchandise that only features them isn't very easy, and it's nearly impossible to get posters just for them. With time, they're being erased completely. Although I'm not personally a fan of Meiko, it's disappointing seeing how little they care about her. Along with this, Kaito is my favorite Vocaloid; so seeing him being excluded from things is very upsetting. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. New day, new post! Today's blog post will be about Tamagotchi. If you've been alive for any longer than five years, you've probably heard of a Tamagotchi. But for those of you who don't know, Tamagotchis are some of the first virtual pets. They were very popular in the late 90's into the early 2000's, and they're still being made to this day. It's a pretty simple game that can usually be found on a keychain; but recently there have been some that can be worn on your wrist instead. Along with this, there's also a wide variety of cute pets to choose from. Tamagotchis usually have pretty simple graphics, but some newer ones are more up-to-date. Tamagotchis have been created for many different brands as well; including Sanrio and Disney. Disney will be opening a pop up cafe! This official cafe will feature Disney princesses, and it is called Manga Princess Cafe. If you can't tell, the featured princesses will be receiving official manga designs. The cafe will be located in Shibuya in Tokyo, and it will be there until June. The event is hosted by Oh My Cafe, and the limited time cafe will feature foods based on the characters. This project is very cute, and the art resembles retro manga from the 80s and 90s. I recommend checking this out because it's a unique project to see, even if you can't physically go to the cafe. As a little bonus, I will be including some pictures from the project below so you all can see it for yourselves. Enjoy!

Why are so many games missing English translations? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, there are quite a few popular Japanese videogames that were never localized at all; causing fans to create translations for them themselves. But, why does this happen? It's usually for a variety of reasons. New or unpopular games won't get very much attention, so translating them will take more time and effort than it's worth. If a company thinks a game won't do well outside of Japan, they won't translate it either. But what about the popular games from popular series that would be received well? In this case, it's usually just because a company doesn't feel like translating it. Either that, or they can't find a company to translate it for them. It's a shame to see so many Japanese games just get completely shelved and overlooked, but sometimes that happens. Personally I think one of the worst cases of this is the official Death Note video games that were never officially released outside of Japan, but I digress. These are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why aren't there more dark-skinned characters in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! It's a common complaint in the Genshin Impact fandom that there aren't many dark-skinned characters, but I don't agree with this complaint. I agree that diversity and variety are important, but we're just barely getting to the regions that would even have dark-skinned people. Most of the current regions are based on areas with naturally light-skinned people. The desert region has a much larger amount of dark-skinned characters because it's accurate to the region. Along with this, it is still a game, and each character is based on a pre-existing model. There are only a certain amount of skin-tones, body-types, and heights at the moment. To add more will take some time. We'll likely get a lot more variety as we get different regions. We'll just have to wait and see. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. What is nightcore? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! I'm sure I've talked about this at some point in the past, but I wanted to talk about it again. Although nightcore isn't exclusively anime-related, it is associated with anime. This is because the videos put with nightcore songs are usually still pictures of anime characters; usually anime girls. A nightcore song is just a normal song that has been sped up and sometimes pitched. Recently the term has changed from "nightcore" to "sped up", but it's still common to see anime pictures with it. It's unclear why they use anime for it, but it's likely for aesthetic purposes. Personally I prefer the name nightcore, but I enjoy the genre as a whole. But I digress. 3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. More specifically, I'll be defending the characters from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. This anime is one of the ones that gets criticized for the young-looking characters who are secretly hundreds of years old. However, this criticism usually comes from people who don't even know anything about the series. They just see a childish character who's secretly very old and they think it's inappropriate. But as a fan of the series, I know that this is ridiculous. Yes, some of the dragons look young. But that's because they are young! They look and act their age, and they're always paired up with people who are equivalent to their age. They look like children because they are children; they just age slowly. To complain about a child character being a child is really weird. Just because they've lived hundreds of years, it doesn't mean they age the same way a human does. A good example of this is Klee from Genshin Impact. Klee comes from a race that ages very slowly, so she's still a child. So why is it alright for that character but not other characters? Context matters, especially for inhuman characters. If they look like a child, act like a child, and are treated like a child by others, then they are a child. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to talk about this because it's still a complaint to this day. Of course Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid isn't perfect, but at least do some basic research and criticize it for a good reason. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! The blog post for today will be about Funimation. Funimation used to be the streaming service to go to for pretty much all of your dubbed and subbed anime needs. However, it doesn't exist anymore! Instead, Funimation has partnered up with Crunchyroll and moved all of their streaming content to there instead. This means it's easier than ever to find all of your favorite shows in one convenient place. Of course Crunchyroll doesn't have every anime to ever exist, but with the Funimation merger their library has more than doubled! This also means you only have to pay for one streaming service instead of two now. Personally I think it's kind of tedious to find everything all over again, but this was a great idea in the long run. Crunchyroll is already really well-known in the anime community, and one of their only downsides was their lack of dubbed content. It does seem like more of their shows are premium now though. Despite this, it'll be much easier to pay for only one streaming service with such a wide variety of anime to choose from. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be about the Pokemon Ogerpon. It's been a long time since I've focused on one Pokemon for a post, and I really like Ogerpon. So, I wanted to talk about it today. Ogerpon is a grass-type legendary Pokemon, and it doesn't evolve. This Pokemon has four masks that it can wear, and its type changes based on the mask it's wearing. Ogerpon is also very fast, and it confuses its opponents with swift kicks. Along with this, Ogerpon is a very mischievous and curious Pokemon. It is also one of the few legendary Pokemon with a gender, since Ogerpon is 100% female.
