It's post time! The blog post for today will be about commonly heard Japanese phrases and what they mean. If you're part of the anime community, there are some Japanese phrases that you've likely come across at some point. So, I wanted to list some of the most common ones today. Onward and upward, let's get on with it!

1.) Nya - Like a meow, it's the sound a cat makes.

2.) Nani - What? That's what this word means. It's the Japanese word for what.

3.) Sugoi - A way of saying something is amazing or awesome.

4.) Desu - This one is a bit trickier. It comes at the end of a sentence to show that the sentence is over. However, it isn't a period, and it isn't used for every sentence.

5.) Kawaii - It's the Japanese word for cute.
