Why aren't Meiko and Kaito more popular? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Meiko and Kaito are Vocaloids who were made by Crypton Future Media. Crypton Future Media is known for creating Hatsune Miku, but Kaito and Meiko were actually made first. They're the originals, but also the most overlooked ones. They aren't given very many songs in games or live shows, despite them both having quite a few fans. But they aren't as popular because the company doesn't promote them. Finding merchandise that only features them isn't very easy, and it's nearly impossible to get posters just for them. With time, they're being erased completely. Although I'm not personally a fan of Meiko, it's disappointing seeing how little they care about her. Along with this, Kaito is my favorite Vocaloid; so seeing him being excluded from things is very upsetting. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
