It's post time! In Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can get a lot of rugs that look like they belong outside. However, you can't put them outside. This is a really awful decision because there isn't enough space inside of the houses to use them either. Yes, you can make the inside of houses look like outside, but this shouldn't be necessary. Making rugs only usable inside means the picnic blankets and outdoor rugs exist for no reason. Not only this, but it forces players to use custom designs to make outdoor rugs instead, even though there aren't very many custom design spaces available. It isn't fair, and a lot of Animal Crossing New Horizons players hate this. It wouldn't even be difficult to make it so rugs can be placed outside. I don't understand why this was done, since every other game that lets you customize places usually lets you put rugs outside. All it does is limit creativity in a game that's supposed to be about creative freedom. I hope this is fixed sometime in the future, but I doubt it ever will be. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
