What time is it? Post time! When it comes to anime and videogames, it's really common to see romance in some way. And although I know this is an unpopular opinion, I think romance isn't necessary in most cases. Anime or videogames that are centered around action or fighting don't need to be derailed by sappy, complicated, awkward moments. Sometimes it's nice to just watch or play something for the fun of it. Not to mention that adding romance to things causes shipping wars, which is horrible for the fans. I don't think there needs to be romance if it isn't a romance series. I think if the story is good enough on its own, that's all it needs. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
