Since yesterday's blog post was about kuuderes, I figured I would talk about danderes in today's post. Danderes are another popular character type. But, danderes are a bit different from the other -dere types. Danderes are actually very shy and quiet when they are around people. They are often insecure too, and they hardly ever speak. Because of this, they will often stay shy, even if they want to be sociable. They are usually very shy around their crushes as well. However, they do tend to act differently around people they are familiar with. Despite this, they will usually still act quiet and soft-spoken. A popular example of a dandere is Hinata Hyuga from Naruto. Even though she starts out quiet and soft-spoken in the beginning of the series, she slowly starts becoming bolder as the series progresses.
