It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be reviewing Cooking Mama Cookstar. Since this is the newest addition to the series, I've decided to review it. Cooking Mama Cookstar is very similar to the previous Cooking Mama games. You can make recipes, which are a series of minigames. Completing a dish for the first time will unlock new dishes to prepare, and it will unlock new kitchenware and items for Mama. As for the new features, there's now a vegetarian choice for the recipes. Along with this, you can now take pictures and decorate them with stickers after completing the recipes. After you complete a recipe and take a picture, the picture will become the new picture for the recipe. You can also play minigames with a friend in the new co-op mode. As for the gameplay itself, it's similar to older Cooking Mama games. However, the timers and actions seem a bit faster than the older games. Mama complaining every time you make a mistake is a bit annoying, as well. All in all, it's just as good as previous Cooking Mama games. It may be a bit more expensive, though. But if any of you are interested in trying this game for yourselves, it's currently available for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. As always, I will be including a picture from Cooking Mama Cookstar below so you guys can see what it looks like. Enjoy!
