Should playable characters appear as NPCs in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, obtainable characters in Genshin Impact usually don't appear in the game. Characters like Venti, Xiao, Amber, and even Jean can never be found in the game. They only appear during events and story quests before promptly returning to the void. This fact has become such a problem that some fans just don't finish their quests to keep the characters present in their world. This is commonly seen with Albedo's story quest, which people often avoid completing to keep Sucrose stationed at their alchemy table. Although the characters can be added to the Serenitea Pot, this is only if you own them. Many fans think adding the characters to the game would make things feel more lively, and I agree. Adding characters to the game that were intended to be there anyways would make more sense, and it would make things seem more alive. If excluding them is only to make people want them more, then I can personally say that seeing and interacting with the characters makes me want them more than never seeing them at all. Along with this, it would save fans the disappointment of looking for characters that will never be there. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's rather unlikely Mihoyo will actually listen to their fans and permanently add the characters to the game. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
