New Pokemon games have been announced! That's right! Just today, the Pokemon company revealed that Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will be released later this year. Although not very much is known at the moment, these new games are said to be open world games. You'll be able to encounter Pokemon everywhere as well, even in the streets of the towns. With the new games comes three new starters, too. These include the new grass cat starter Sprigatito, the fire crocodile starter Fuecoco, and the water duck starter Quaxley. Did Marco turn back into a human at the end of Porco Rosso? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will obviously be some spoilers for the movie in this post, as well. Although Marco's human face is seen a few times throughout the movie, he's usually seen as a pig. This is why he was called Porco instead of Marco. However, it's hinted at the end of the movie that Fio's kiss turned him back into a normal human. This is only shown once though, so many people wonder if that meant he actually changed back or not. On the other hand, some people believe that it's Fio's kiss and Gina's love that turned him back, even though Fio loved him too. I personally think it's pretty obvious that Marco turned back into his normal self at the end of the movie, but it's harder to say why this happened. Many people loved Porco, so it wasn't the love itself that changed him back. It could've been Fio's intention, or it could just be that Marco no longer saw himself as a pig. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why is Totoro Studio Ghibli's mascot? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Totoro first appeared in Studio Ghibli's movie My Neighbor Totoro. Although it isn't the studio's first film, it quickly grew in popularity. The soft and fluffy title character became so popular that the studio eventually adopted him as their mascot. Totoro has been their mascot ever since, and he's easily one of the most popular and well-known Studio Ghibli characters. Totoro's appearance is not only iconic, but it welcomes new adults and children alike. People of any age almost always like Totoro, which makes him a suitable choice for a mascot. But, that's mostly just my opinion. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Are there catboys in Nekopara? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Nekopara started out as a visual novel. However, it became so popular that they created an anime adaption for it. Although there are some boys in the series, catboys were simply nonexistent. When asked if there were catboys in-universe, the creator said yes. We just hadn't seen them yet. But, that fact has changed! Even though catboys never really made an appearance in the main media, a game called Nekopara: Catboys Paradise was released last year. It's available for free on the PC and Android, as well. This game alone outright officially confirms the existence of catboys in the world of Nekopara, which is very good news for many fans of the series. What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be listing three characters who I like because of their design; along with a short reason for each. These are characters I like either because of their design, or ones I didn't like until I saw their design. Of course I'll be explaining further in the actual list. 1.) Kanato Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers - I actually found Kanato before I found this series. I absolutely adore his character design. Although I was a little put off by his personality, I eventually grew to love him.

2.) Sasori from Naruto Shippuden - I'll be honest, I hated Sasori. But one look at his red hair and I was hooked. I also fell for his personality with time, and his backstory really made it hard to hate him. Now, he's one of my all time favorite characters.

3.) 707 from Mystic Messenger - I found Seven long before I found Mystic Messenger. I fell hard for this character the second I saw him. Although I tried to dislike him after playing the game, I really couldn't. I know he's almost everyone's favorite, but he'll always hold a special place in my heart.

How do you know if Genshin Impact leaks are reliable? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although leaks for characters, weapons, events, and other things can give people a lot to look forward to, unreliable leaks can lead to big disappointments. So how do you know if they're reliable or not? Well, one way to tell is by checking to see if other leakers have given the same information. If they haven't, then you should take the information with a grain of salt. It's also usually pretty fake if the leak was heard from a friend or someone "in the company". Although that doesn't happen super often, it does occasionally happen. There are a few pretty well-known and reliable leakers as well, which will often show up on the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit. Mihoyo has been really cracking down on leaks recently too, so honest leaks will often pop up during Mihoyo's breaks. These are just a few ways to tell anyways, and all leaks should be taken lightly until they're officially confirmed or denied. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! The blog post for today will be about a Pikachu computer mouse. For those of you who don't know, a Korean shop based in Hong Kong called Cozy Styler designed a computer mouse that looks like a sleeping Pikachu. Its ears act as the left and right buttons, and it is wireless. Although the shop doesn't ship outside of Hong Kong, you can buy it from other shops for about $50; which is how much it sells for new. It's mostly just a normal computer mouse, but it looks just like a relaxed Pikachu. So if that sounds like something any of you would be interested in, I'll be including a picture of it below so you guys can see what it looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about how Kusuo Saiki from The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K. is an overpowered character done right. For those of you who don't know, overpowered characters usually aren't that great. They can solve any problem whenever they want, which means conflicts hold no weight. They make things boring and predictable. However, Saiki is different. He is amazingly overpowered, but this is actually a good thing. It adds to the comedy parts of the series, and it shows how difficult being stupidly overpowered can be in an average world. Him being so strong is actually the problem, which means he has to be careful when he does use his powers. His strength makes his parents hopelessly dependant on him, and it makes it difficult for him to really make friends. Even if he can get out of any situation flawlessly, he has to be really careful about it so nobody discovers his secret. Making his incredible powers the conflict of the series adds to the story, and it makes every use of them a risk. Even if he does depend on his powers, he would rather just be a normal person. This is a really good way to make an overpowered character likeable, especially since the viewer can hear his every thought and understand how he feels about it. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why isn't Servamp a more popular series? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Even though Servamp was popular enough as a manga to get an anime adaptation, it still isn't very well-known. Despite this, most of those who know about it like it. I've only seen a few people say they hate the anime, with most saying it's mediocre at worst. Many fans are also still asking about a second season as recent as a few months ago even though the anime hasn't gotten a new episode in years. So why isn't it more popular? Although it isn't as obscure as something like Cheer Boys, it isn't known enough to get more content. It may just have to do with the lack of marketing, since the manga itself is still going. The company may have just been too busy to continue making episodes as well, though this is less likely. If an anime doesn't do well enough when it's released, the studio will often just drop it in favor of another one. This is most likely what happened with Servamp, and anime that only have one season tend not to do nearly as well as others who have two seasons or more. It also never hit the mainstream like other similar shows, so many people don't even know it exists. But since so many people do like it, hopefully more people can find it and make it a bit more popular. If it becomes more popular, it will most likely get more content; which would make many existing fans very happy. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about some Valentine's Day traditions that often appear in anime and manga. If you're not from Japan, it's easy for the culture to be lost on you. You can research it yourself, but so many sources say different things. So I've decided to talk about the more common ones. Firstly, Valentine's Day is traditionally for the boys. Gifts are usually given to the guys on Valentine's Day, and they're usually not given to girls until White Day. It's also common for girls to give homemade chocolates on the special day. Different chocolates usually mean different things as well, and friends aren't given the same candies as romantic partners or crushes are. Giving Valentine's Day candies is often a somewhat big deal in anime because they can easily be used as a confession. Unless the receiver knows nothing about the different types of candies, it'll be easy to notice that the special homemade chocolates were made from a place of love. I know this isn't very much information, but it should help you all understand the anime tropes better. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Is there a problem with accidental purchases in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There have been many stories of kids accidentally buying things in gacha games with their parents' money in the past, but for some reason this doesn't seem to be a problem for Genshin Impact. So, why is this? First of all, there's a clear difference in purchasable currency when compared with the in-game currency. For example, primogems and mora can be earned in Genshin Impact, but genesis crystals are purchase only. This usually wouldn't stop kids with zero money sense, but account bans will. That's right. If you purchase genesis crystals and then they get refunded, the amount will go into the negatives. That is to say if you buy 100 crystals, and then the money gets refunded, you'll have -100 instead. If this isn't paid back in a set amount of time, your account will be permanently banned. This threat in itself should be enough to keep kids from even considering getting that character they want without permission. After all, there's no point in sacrificing everything you worked for just because you made the wrong choice. It may also be because not as many kids play Genshin Impact, but there has been one known occurrence of an 18 year old girl absolutely loading up her account with tons of purchases without permission. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on the topic anyways. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new list! For today's blog post, I will be listing three Pokemon with disappointing evolutions. I'll also be giving a reason for why I think their evolutions are disappointing, and I'll be including a picture for each Pokemon with their evolution. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Chespin - This Pokemon is very cute, but its evolutions are disappointing. Not only does it just turn into a ball for a while, but Chesnaught is nothing like Chespin.

2.) Rhyhorn - This Pokemon starts out strong, literally. Its first two evolutions are very nice and well done. But Rhyperior just, doesn't compare.

3.) Teddiursa- This Pokemon was always one of my favorites. It looks just like a little teddy bear, and it would be great on its own. And then it evolves. That cute little teddy bear turns into, a normal bear. We have quite a few cub to bear evolutions as it is, so why couldn't we just have one that stays a cub?

What makes Studio Ghibli so popular? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Studio Ghibli is so well-known that even people who aren't usually anime fans know it and generally like it. But why is this? Well, it's because of a few things. Firstly, Studio Ghibli has amazing animation. It's beautiful and vibrant, and all of the characters are very lively. Along with this, Studio Ghibli has incredible music. It always fits the scene and feel of the movie. Even if the story itself is weird and not to the taste of others, the music and animation always draw people back for another try. This makes it easier for people to grow to love these classic movies. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why is Gudetama more popular than Kirimichan? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Gudetama and Kirimichan are Sanrio characters. They were both released in 2013, and it was thought that Kirimichan would be the more popular one. However, Kirimichan unfortunately faded into obscurity. Instead, Gudetama grew massively in popularity. This is mostly because Gudetama is more relatable. Despite Sanrio's best efforts to promote Kirimichan, people just couldn't get enough of the depressed lazy egg who never wanted to move. People found Gudetama cuter and funnier than the poor salmon fish filet. So even though Gudetama has yet to get a Sanrio boy, there's still tons of other merchandise to choose from. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the new Kirimichan merchandise on Sanrio's website. For those of you who don't know, Kirimichan is one of my favorite Sanrio characters. However, Sanrio doesn't tend to give her very much attention. Even though there's a Sanrio boy for Kirimichan and a now scrapped project that was going to show Kirimichan and her friends as humans, this character is largely forgotten and ignored. She was even removed from Sanrio's English website. But, two new items have been created for her! There is a plushie and a mascot clip. Although the mascot clip is currently sold out, the plushie is selling for only $16.50; which is a record low compared to other plushies on Sanrio's website. For any of you who may be interested, I'll be including pictures of both items below. Along with this, I'll also be including the link for the plushie. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the NPCs that can be found around Liyue after the Lantern Rite quest in Genshin Impact. Although NPCs can always be found throughout Liyue, the Lantern Rite quest actually has the playable characters out in the world. It's a small addition, but it really helps with the immersion. For example, Ningguang and Keqing can be found at the Jade Palace. Along with this, Baizhu and Qiqi are outside of a house in Qingce Village, Xiao is at Pervases' temple, Xiangling is at the Wanmin Restaurant, Ganyu is at Mt. Aocang, and so on. There are more accurate and helpful location guides available, and I recommend finding one if you want to talk to the characters and see them out in the world. It's really neat actually seeing them outside of story quests, but I doubt it'll last. Still, it's nice while it lasts. The Lantern Rite will be available for 8 more days, so you'd better hurry if you want to participate or see the characters.
